I woke to no heat and spent time on Facetime with my HVAC brother from out of state and we determined the problem with my Carrier furnace was most likely the High Limit unit. I called Brian of Grand Home Services and told him what the problem was and he came out. He charged me $341.72 for the less than 90 seconds it took him to switch out the High Limit unit. Seriously, unscrew 2 screws, disconnect 2 cables, screw in 2 screws and plug in the 2 cables and the furnace works perfectly, less than 90 seconds to correct. $341.72 to do that. Yep. I argued that I shouldn't be charged so much money for that and he said he doesn't set the prices, the company and owner does. BS. Check the Secretary of State business listings, Brian is the owner of the company so he lied as well. And when I searched for the part online, it is a $16 part. Yep, $341.72 for 90 seconds work and a $16 part. So no, would not recommend this company and would give them 0 stars if that was possible.

Brian did a great job on our new furnace. He arrived around 7:45 AM and just went to work. He is friendly and diligent. He is also patient. Originally, I thought we could do a furnace and air conditioner at the same time. When I had to just go with the furnace, it was no problem. He had the new paperwork available in a timely manner. We have used this company in the past and have never been disappointed.

Second time using this company for AC repair within 90 days. Upon completion of the second visit he stated the unit froze up and there wasn't anything he could do. Interesting approach but the unit is the original unit when the house was built in the early 90's, so it has been in service for quite some time - failures are bound to happen...I get that. But if you state that there is damage to the unit on both visits, and I ask you to be very specific about the amount of damage there is on the report, do not tell me that I am asking you to lie for me. You stated not once, but twice that the damage is impacting the performance and efficiency of the unit and I am simply asking you to be SPECIFIC; how much damage overall (ex: 70% damaged/30%normal) so that the warranty company has a good idea of what is going on. The accusatory and unprofessional approach to me asking you to do your job is unbelievable and helps no one. No s*** the unit is old but you stating that "it's old" on your report doesn't resolve the failure of the unit nor a temporary solution.

I called at 4am because I had no heat. They didn't call back until 7am. When he did, he explained to charges to me and I said OK. He said the soonest they could come out was 7PM. I told him I couldn't go all day without heat. He just said OK, bye and hung up......

I have used this company twice in the past year when my furnace stopped working. Each time I was able to schedule same day service, and the repairs were completed within an hour. Brian was both professional and courteous, explaining all work and pricing completely. I will not hesitate to use this company for future HVAC needs.

Came home from work yesterday to discover that my AC unit had died and my house was sweltering hot. Calling around trying to find a repair technician for over an hour was a daunting task. With the 4th of July Holiday it was impossible to find somebody available. But I found my hero and savior when we contacted Brian at Grand Home Services LLC. Brian was able to come out early morning on the 4th of July with no additional Holiday charge, he fixed the problem and was on his way leaving us cool and comfortable without breaking the bank! I would highly recommend this local company for all your HVAC needs. He was prompt, courteous and gave my husband some great tips on keeping our unit maintained. Thank you!
