My experience living in property as it was acquired by Monarch Group.Old property management group was kind and reliable. The new property management, Monarch Investment and Management Group, increased rent prices, added a handful of bogus fees, and quietly modified rental payment practices as to seemingly increase the occurrence of late fees.On top of that, some of new the office staff are rude. The hours posted on the door are unreliable. I've showed up on multiple occasions during business hours to find the door locked a no one inside. I even had a one employee simply ignore me while I knocked at the door. Additionally, they gave a surprising amount of resistance when I requested to view copies of my lease history with the property--even going so far as to tell me one time that they did not have records (aren't companies legally required to keep records for at least one year?).I don't know if all of Monarch's properties experience the same problems, but one time was enough for me. I'll likely steer clear of their properties in the future.

There are marking and gashes on my door. Signs of someone forcing the door. And a cross with a swastika on my door. They refuse to put up cameras. And they make fun of me for fearing for my safety. They will argue just to be right, not to solve a issue... like the law requires. No one should be abused in their own apartment complex.

Paddock Village is the worst apartment complex that I’ve ever lived in, You’re supposed to have 24 hour on call maintenance but when you call the maintenance line, no one answers. I’m moving into this place June 3, 2023 and since I’ve been there there’s been nothing but issues. They were supposed to have my apartment cleaned before I moved in. I had up cleaning the place myself. My carpets weren’t clean when I moved in my vanities in my bathroom are peeling from paint because they painted them instead of putting in new ones then shower in the master bedroom bathroom it leaked the water every time you took a shower then in August my air went out and I stayed in a hot apartment for two days because the maintenance man Tim said he didn’t have a car,to get to me so I had to wait till the next day for him to catch a lift my toilets are always stopped up in both of the bathrooms. I have to carry water from one bathroom to the next to flush the toilet and then last night November 27, 2023 I get home and my house was wreaking of gas. I called the gas company and the gas man informed me that I needed to reach out to maintenance Well, I had been calling maintenance while the gas man was standing there. I reached out to Paddock Village five times left three messages on the emergency maintenance line and still no answer , so it’s below 30° outside my gas is off and they expect me to pay rent. There will be no rent being paid. I will be reaching out to Florissant City Hall to get a inspector out to look at this place. I’m sick and tired of Paddock Village they do rent gouging you pay for a pest control every month and then you pay for water, sewer and trash. I’m the only person that lives in this place , so is my water and trash $131 my rent is $1300 for the month of December just tell me how. And management horrible you go into the office tell him you need a work order for your apartment and it takes them 2-3 weeks or you have to go back and constantly keep reminding them This place is so unprofessional you go in our people got their babies and our is it a daycare or a business. My neighbors at 12282 Chesapeake Dr Are always fighting. You have to call the police you tell management and nothing is being done about it. I’m sick I’m sick I’m sick and tired of Paddock Village. I recommend that no one moves into this property ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️

Had a heating issue at my apartments at Eden park and so the emergency line sent me Brandon. He was probably one of the nicest guy I've ever met with the services, was very respectful of my home and got straight to business. Not only was he quick but he was also efficient at the job. There wasn't a single moment where I doubted his work, the confidence and knowledge he held was radiating off of him. I know a good man when I see one, he deserves a raise! Thank you for your work Brandon Theng:) I can now go to sleep tonight warm and cozy!

This has been a horrible experience dealing with a location in Toledo Ohio. I have had to call the corporate number located in Franktown several times to no avail. They don’t return calls. The office onsite staff for location have the worst customer service skills I’ve ever come across. It has been issue after issue while my son stayed here. To add insult to injury some of the things we complained about st move in and during they had to audacity to charge at move out. How were blinds and bathroom vanity not in working order or none existent at move in but we are charged for them at move out.

This company owns Gatewood apartments in Waite Park MN. Here are just some of the issues encountered while living at a "Monarch Investment" property.I put my review in short points because there is so much wrong that is going on here at Gatewood.Police will often visit the property due to poor tenants/high crime rate.I personally witnessed someone getting their apartment window smashed with a brick.Often visits from the fire department due to neighbors carelessly starting fires. Many fire inspections due to many reports of fires starting in the building.Neighbors are noisy. There is a 100% guarantee this place will raise your rent significantly after your 12 month least is up. They do this because they know it is a bigger hassle to move, and they know many people would rather just fork out the money. The pipes in the buildings are old, so when winter comes expect very loud creaks, and noises from the wall when you turn your heat on, so either deal with a very loud noise or sit in the freezing cold. (I personally can't sleep with constant noise.)Upon moving into my apartment I didn't have a working toilet for about 2 weeks.Neighbors smoke cigarettes in the bathroom, and it ends up making my bathroom smell like burnt hair and ash.I received an inspection about every 3-4 weeks living here, wether it be a fire inspection, safety inspection, or ROACH inspection... There is absolutely no respect for privacy here.Oh yea, and even if your apartment doesn't have ROACHES, for some ungodly reason I am paying a 'pest control' fee in my monthly bill from Gatewood. Also there was one documented time in the dozes of times they "inspected" my apartment that they did not give a full 24 hour notice before entering the units, which is very illegal.Pretty positive that they are creating AI Google accounts to file false 5 star reviews for them because no other rental agency/company has received this many reviews in this short of time. Many reviews are worded very similar to eachother. Or they are telling people to leave specific 5 star reviews which is false advertising.Contrary to popular belief amongst these fake 5 star reviews, Mehgan actually has some of the worst people skills I have ever seen. If she really thinks these apartments are liveable, then I question if she's really there to help me or make things worse for her own benefit so she can get a raise from corporate.

Update to that response: Emailed contact and am awaiting for response to that offer to discuss this in private. Since then the property manager has escalated to misusing my application information from 2021 to contact a former landlord of my family 2 years later, as well as searched my social media to find a picture of me holding my mom's dog. All this invasion of my privacy and misuse of my personal information so they could submit false and misleading information to my last renters insurance policy to get more money on top of wrongfully withholding my security deposit. It feels like an absolute nightmare to deal with. I'd hope any large property management company would hold their property managers to higher standards of behavior and ethics, but we'll see.Their decisions on property managers are poor. Brenda Norts from Georgetown Village Apartments likes to be on power trip against her former tenants, while very dishonest and rude in the process. Super inconsistent, shady, and unprofessional while still insisting I lie to my renters insurance so they can get money for damages that I didn't leave upon move out. I felt completely dismissed and belittled. I was sure to let my insurance know of her insistence still. Renter beware of their communities management.

Honestly best company I have worked for. The way they invest in their employees is incredible. Privately owned company makes it feel like a big family even though we are spread across multiple states. Super happy I made the career switch!

They treat people the way THEY want to be treated. Good and affordable benefits through Blue Cross. Yearly raises are awesome and thoughtful. The owner actually cares about people and will visit sites because he actually cares. The Fish Fry Event is incredible in Michigan in the summer where they rent out an entire resort for all employees and their families. No one else does that. They pay for the hotel room and all food and drinks. I have worked here for almost 10 years. Awesome Company!!

This investment company has THE WORST apartments in Sioux city, ia. Other property managers made an amazing slogan for them! "Monarch, where properties die!" Absolute slum lords. Every summer I go months without air conditioning because they refuse to fix the problem! Not to mention the mold problem, roaches, rodents, and very poor management. Only apartments that look anywhere near presentable are near the office, typical. Maintenance isn't the issue, the company is.

I’ve called and left voicemails… everyone wants to slack around “Holidays”. I have yet to receive an correspondence.I’m located in Franklin County in the state of Ohio and the management isn’t doing anything correct where I reside.I also receive government assistance so this isn’t something that should be mishandled and needs addressed immediately!

Classless. They recently acquired my apartment complex and quickly began sawing bike locks off from residents' bicycles. There are zero bike racks on property (Lakecrest Apts in St Joseph, MI) and I guess they decided to invest in a power saw instead. To top it off it was returned to me with a flat tire and they refused to reimburse me. Exactly what you'd expect from an out-of-town investment firm.

Living here is amazing! The pool is always clean. The neighborhood is quiet for the most part. Management is understanding and efficient. I’m only moving because my children aren’t small enough to share a bedroom anymore. I will recommend anyone to stay here

I have years of experience in maintenance and landscaping but was told I don't have enough experience as a groundskeeper to work here.I found it insulting honestly, seems like when someone who would actually work hard tries to get employed they get turned away.
