They close for lunch on you even though you were there in line and it wasn't 1:30 yet ... always the worst experience and an hr wait here... all these 1 stars make 100% sense

After repeatedly telling myself I wouldn’t return to this pharmacy, I’m now certain I won’t. Yesterday, I pulled up to the drive-thru to drop off a prescription, and everything seemed normal at first. The technician asked if I would be waiting for the prescription, and I said yes. She then told me it would be ready in 20 minutes, but that I HAD to come inside. I explained that I preferred to wait in my car for 20 minutes and receive a text message when my prescription was ready. The reason I wanted to stay in my car was that I was in a significant amount of pain. I asked her again if I could just wait in the parking lot and if there was a specific reason I needed to come inside. She insisted that if I wanted it ready in 20 minutes, I had to go inside.
Frustrated, I parked and went inside to speak with the pharmacy manager or pharmacist. The pharmacist told me there must have been a misunderstanding and that the technician probably assumed I intended to wait in the drive-thru line. At this point, I was furious. I had clearly stated I would wait in the parking lot. Also, what adult who has filled multiple prescriptions thinks it’s okay to hold up the drive-thru line with other cars behind them? It clearly wasn’t a misunderstanding because, as I sat there waiting, I overheard the same technician tell another car in the drive-thru that their prescription would be ready in 20 minutes, but they had to come inside. I couldn’t hear the other side of the conversation, but eventually, she agreed to let them wait in their car.
I understand being short-staffed, however, you can be short staffed and still be empathetic towards people who are sick and in pain.

Beware of the times you come here. They will put the sign in the window no matter how long the line is when it's time for them to go to lunch. I'll never come back to this store after waiting in line almost an hour all for them to put a sign in the window saying there is no pharmacist on duty when I was the next and only vehicle in line. I can tell me the reviews this place is trash. I'll never be back after that experience.

The pharmacy is ALWAYS out of stock on the meds I need or I only get partial fills and have to wait for the rest to come in... the lines are always out of control... you wait for up to 1.5hrs no Matter if your inside or in the car line.

Something tells me that since their deeds are being broadcast correctly VIA very detailed and specific reviews that speak clearly to customers experiences - some “over the top” reviews (fake reviews for damage control) are being inserted. Judge for yourself. How were you treated, how satisfied? Then is it even possible that after such a consistent awful experience could the next person in line have such a polar opposite wonderful and fantastic experience? Let your life experience and mothers/fathers intuition read into the real motivations for such a situation. Are all the dissatisfaction reviews not true? Let me ask this. If you were happy. Would you leave a bad review? Nope! Ouch. Do better Walgreens. Altering the review metric will not trick people into thinking they were satisfied. But pretty interesting tactic that in fact solidifies to my mind the 1 star reviews are 110% true! And also my experience. I like the candy selection tho ?

This walgreens hardly has prescriptions available/ready. And you have to wait in line inside or in drive thru for 30+ mins. Honestly just go to Walmart that's what I plan on doing.

Received a automated call this morning that I had a prescription ready, so around 2:30 I waited in line for 15 minutes to get prescription. Drove 35 minutes back home south of Florissant. Later that evening around 4:30 I received another automated call from walgreens I HAVE ANOTHER PRESCRIPTION READY. Incompetent

Absolutely the worst and slowest pharmacy I have ever used.

I have only used this pharmacy for 5 months yet I’ve had so many issues in that time. Today I spent a hour in the drive thru line just to get to the window where I spent another 10-15 mins. This is the slowest and slackest Walgreens pharmacy I have ever been to..and I’ve been to many across the country. Slow is a understatement for them. Their is no sense of urgency and it seems they have been understaffed for a long time based off of reviews.I’d suggest closing this pharmacy altogether rather than serving customers the way they do. I will go to a different pharmacy even if they means driving further! Nothing can compare to sitting in a drive thru for a solid hour.

1 star is too much for this store. Appointments mean nothing to them. I'll get my vaccinations elsewhere. Snotty Customer "service" without results in over an hour!
