Brian is awesome. I was on a cross country trip when I noticed a leak in my oil filter. I came to Brian’s cause the reviews were great. Well unfortunately but not surprising Brian was a week out for service. That being said he still took the time to take a look identify the issue and recommend me to the 2nd best mechanic in the area. Thank you Brian for all you do for this community I only wish I lived here so I could have a great mechanic like you when needed.

Brian did great work on my Corolla for an amazing price. He was friendly, fast, and never tried to upsell me for unnecessary services.Took a week to get the car in but Brian was done with it the same day. Honestly I expected the work to take the weekend.Family Automotive Repair is an HONEST, small shop North of Fountain that actually works to fix vehicles and get you back on the road. Other shops in the area solely order and replace parts, but that's not always the best or most practical solution.I am very happy to have found Family Automotive Repair. New customer for life.

I called on Monday and was told to bring it by at 0830 on Wednesday. I asked if he needed my info for the appointment and he said no. That already sounded fishy. I got there early and waited for the owner to arrive at 0850! They open at 0830. We have jobs to get to. Then he said he wasn’t sure he’d get to me today. I said that’s not what he said Monday. He said, very nonchalantly, “sorry”. Clearly his regulars are enough to pay the bills and customer service for newbies doesn’t matter. Took my car down the road to Meineke. I try to support local businesses, but sometimes it isn’t worth it.

Brian is a very friendly guy. It took about a week to get me in his shop. I love that the same day I dropped off the car, he diagnosed the issue with my car. He called me immediately to get my go-ahead on the job. The price was reasonable for the items that required replacement plus the labor. I also picked up my car the same day. I live about 2 to 3 miles away from the shop, and i live alone. This meant that I would need to ride my bicycle from home to his shop to pick up my vehicle at 5:30 pm. It was cold that day, and it was snowing. Instead, Brian volunteered to follow me home in my car while I drove my buddies car, which he loaned me. In all, I had a very positive experience with Brian and his shop.

Brian did an amazing job on my car. I had a severe oil leak and he looked at my car immediately. He also explained what was wrong very easily and fixed it in a timely manner. He was super courteous and friendly! I will definitely be using this place in the future.

Brian took time out of his packed schedule near the end of the business day to evaluate a severe oil leak on my wife's car caused by a faulty oil-filter install from Jiffy Lube. He quickly identified and repaired the issue and was extremely courteous and professional.My wife and I will definitely be using F&G auto for all of our mechanical needs from now on.
