If I could leave 0 stars I would, however I can’t. I don’t know if he was the manager or what, but talk about rude and awful customer service. I’m so frustrated with this guy I’m never shopping here again I’ll just go to the family dollar. He was super inconsiderate and wasn’t willing to help me find something in the store. The store was a mess and so was he!

This lower rating is for the 2 associates that were working last night. Never in my life have I seen such a chaotic scene walking into the store. The line was very long & the associates were yelling at customers in the line! I am a regular customer &I've never had a bad thing to say about this store until now. Drake & ASM, Summer were working. It was PAINFUL to witness the customer service. Drake yelled at a man to "get the f*** out of the store" when the man asked for his receipt. It appeared that he was confused at the amount of change he was given & Drake told the customer that he had already thrown it away. The older gentlemen left & he was so visibly embarrassed & upset. "ASM", Summer is an embarrassment to the company. She is the opposite of what a manager should be: unprofessional & incredibly rude. I witnessed her name-calling towards several customers at her register. She was snarky for absolutely no reason when asked if the store carried ice. She didn't even hesitate dropping the F-bomb several times between customers. When I reached the registers, Drake & Summer were chit-chatting & ignored me for several minutes until I politely asked which register I should go to. Drake rolled his eyes & shrugged, Summer huff-puffed & said, "here." Completely rude & made me feel like I was a nuisance for interrupting their small talk. If they are the "closing team" as I heard them refer to themselves, I will avoid coming into the store in the evening hours again. I hope Dollar General does something about these employees because it is an embarrassment to the company to have associates represent a business in this manner! ****Apparently, I am not able to leave a separate review so I had to edit this one. Unfortunately, I can't change my rating for the employees who deserve to be recognized for their outstanding efforts in customer service & community outreach so I apologize. First off, Stacy the Store Manager is an incredible lady! She is always friendly & never hesitates to make each customer that comes through her line special with every interaction. She takes time to listen & even comes up with fun nicknames for the regulars. I always enjoy seeing her smiley face when I walk through the doors in the AM/PM! Stacy definitely makes my day & Ive seen the great changes she has made to making the store functional. She is awesome! From my understanding, there is another Assistant Manager (I think she was recently hired/promoted?) that deserves to be recognized as well. Her name is Jenny & she has been an absolute delight & wonderful asset to our Dollar General! I always see her working on side projects & busy; however, she is always quick to stop what she is doing to assist anyone who needs help & that includes her coworkers! She also always seems to have a smile on her face and is genuinely happy to welcome whoever walks in. She makes me laugh with her little joking nature & she is just sweet. I am happy that Dollar General has an Assistant Manager that is the exact opposite of the one described from last night's incident. Jenny most definitely earned the role to represent what being a leader in Dollar General truly means. Lastly, there is a young boy named Ethan (I think he works primarily during the weekends) is awesome at his job! He's friendly, helpful & always busy when I see him completing his tasks in each aisle. He always has a kind word for every customer who walks by & I really enjoy our brief little chats! I think these 3 employees are the epitome of what makes this store so amazing & I think that is why I was so shocked at the 2 associates last night who seemed to make it their mission to ruin their customer's experience. It's so sad that 2 people have the potential to negatively affect this Dollar General's business depending on the time of day that they work, compared to the time of day that Stacy, Jenny & Ethan are there. Excellent place to shop! Shelves are stocked and they always have amazing deals, digital coupons are easy to use. Staff is always respectful, nice, and extremely helpful! 10/10

Poor customer service. Apparently the drawer has to be closed by 9 and you get harassed by employees when go in to grab something real quick. Get greeted with “you have less than 10 minutes to get what you need” rather than “Hey guess just so ya know we close at 9!”

Never had a poor experience here - always friendly service. Normally I’m here to get snacks and gift cards for my clients after closings.

First off this store is wayyyy nicer then the one that's near me house , very clean and the staff is actually helpful and friendly . I personally got to meet the store manager and I was telling her bout the stores around my area ( it's like no one cares or helps and they have no pride in their store and you get that vibe as soon as you walk in it's like your bothering them by being there) here I got greeted , asked what Iwas looking for , shown where it was asked how my day was and just very impressed all together . I myself am a small business owner and I appreciate you going out of your way to help customers and making people feel welcome . Shout out to the manager and thank you for making me have a good experience . . I appreciate the effort y'all make and the pride you have in your location doesn't go unnoticed thank you

We showed up at 6:00 on a Saturday and the store was closed. At least 10 angry families were in the parking lot. We were one of them! Please do yourself a favor and shop local at the SassyBass quick shop right down the street.

Decent customer service. The app absolutely sucks which is very unfortunate as nowadays I do all my shopping with the app first. Sorry dollar general, you're off my shopping list. That's the good thing about America, you have a lot of choices from stores like Dollar general.
