“If you are in Fort Garland, you have to visit this treasure of a place. They have real items from frontier life, not the tourist ,kitschy ,genuine made in china stuff. Super friendly people, open to just lookers who are not looking to buy, lots of real history on display, with a close representation of life in a Hogan, like the Native tribes of the area lived. The grandkids loved the jail, and looking at the real buffalo robes, best of all, ITS FREE! They also raise straight backed German Shepherds, and brought one out for us to meet, beautiful dog! Here on vacation, but if I’m in the area, I will definitely come back.”
