Unfortunately I have to at least five 1 star! If there was an option for zero or negative that’s what I would do. Went in to get change for 100 bill I was told we don’t do that for non members. It’s just change, she was incredibly rude and disrespectful. Don’t ever do business with this branch. She said it was bank policy so I called another branch and they said that is definitely not true that she should have changed out my bill without question. Do better FNBO

Great people. Great bank. They have been very helpful with the change over to First National Bank of Omaha. The Stagg has went above and beyond to help figure out issues and help with questions regarding the change. The staff has always been this way. We choose Westen States Bank because of how great the customer service was. This has not changed since they changed to First National Bank of Omaha. We will continue to Bank here even after the change.

I have been banking with this bank for 19 years, I've had no issues til recently, I could not make a big purchase at Walmart, I've made big purchases before, not this big, but when we tried separate transactions, but still it would not go through, I showed the cashier I had money in the account, then I went to my ATM and it only let me take out a certain amount for the day. I have to wait til Monday, to go into the bank, and have words. Hopefully they will be open on time, and I can get my money, and Walmart still holds my stuff.

I have had many accounts with Western States Bank for over 10 years and couldn't be happier with their Customer Service! Always very friendly and ready to go that extra mile to keep their customers happy. I lived in California for 2 years while attending film school and Marina personally monitored my accounts and would reach out to me if she felt anything was out of place. I am with this bank for LIFE!!

Recently we had someone trying to cash fake checks from our business account. The whole crew at Western States Bank came to the rescue and knew something wasn't right with the man or the check he was trying to cash. They helped us every step of the way and saved us from a huge headache. We love banking there and they treat us like family!

I have business accounts, and personal accounts here, what I love most is how I am treated. I am a Hispanic female, I am always treated amazing by everyone! Always great service either in person, drive up or phone! Can not say enough .. oh and I can count on a tootsie roll as a bonus. :)

Love this bank love everyone that works here. I have been banking with this bank as long as i have been of age to have an account. I have never had any problem they go out of there way to help you. They treat you as one of the family. Thank you all for all your hard work.

Was racially profiled because I am Mexican and was wearing a band t-shirt. A hold was put on my check. They have cashed this type of check before, most recent was in March, the SAME DAY. Before I left I was told that the money would be put into my account the next morning like it normally is because I didn't want to cash it this time and so I left but not without noticing the branch supervisor staring at me. Immediately after I left I received a call from them saying that the supervisor put a hold on my check because I had never deposited that amount before, which is a LIE, and because I looked suspicious and they have been dealing with fraud. I understand that they have been dealing with fraud but I have had an account with them for awhile and none of my checks have ever been bad. Another thing I will take into consideration is that I looked a little nervous because I was going to be late for my class because they did not open at 9 like their store hours say. But even after speaking with the supervisor for half an hour over the phone, explaining everything and telling her that they have cashed it the same day, she said that the hold would not be lifted. I asked to speak to someone higher than her and she refused. She said that it did not matter who I talked to because the decision was hers to make. The check was a loan for my classes but because I looked suspicious to this lady I was dropped from my class for non-payment.

Western States Bank is great. I would tell people who haven't had the pleasure of dealing with these folks that they are the most personable bankers I have ever dealt with. Everytime I go there the managers and tellers remember me and say hello with my name. I would never change banks with the exception of moving too far from a location. Overall GREAT people, Great bank Great idea to give them a try!

Western States Bank has the newest technology for mobile banking and they have local decision makers, the best of both qualities in banking. I recommend them wholeheartedly! Mary H
