I saw Dr. Matt Duran today and had a great experience from beginning to end. Starting with check in and his nurse, Cass, who remembers me when I come in. My time with Dr. Duran was spent with him asking relevant questions until he was satisfied he had the information he needs. He really is a master at asking the right questions to efficiently and effectively diagnose my issue, while being personable at the same time. This is the third time I’ve seen him and he’s been consistently pleasant and helpful.

I have to echo the most recent comment about the front desk staff and the way this office is being managed now. This is not a review of my physician Dr Rivera, who is a fantastic, caring, patient doctor with superior bedside manners...the kind you can't find anymore. But the office staff is awful. Rude, no customer service training or mindset. It has become absolutely impossible to schedule appointments. I was told repeatedly to call back as the calendar for annual appointments were not open. When I did call back a week after the date I had been told they'd open up, I was offered one date/time only. When my son was sick and I needed to get him in, I was told to call back the next day first thing to schedule an appointment for that day. I was also told by the front desk that since my son had not seen Dr Rivera in over a year, he was now considered a new patient, and since she was not taking new patient, he could not longer come in. This is ludicrous. I have been a patient for years and the front desk did not used to be like this. The person I spoke with was not one bit sympathetic, she was rude, unfriendly and unhelpful and it has been the case every time I have called recently. When I do get in to see Dr Rivera, I will let her know of my experience with her front desk office. Given what I know of her, I do not think her staff represent her well, nor the other doctors in the office and I am not sure they are aware of it.

The front desk staff is extremely rude!!!! Maybe ask a question before sending me a letter terminating my relationship when I finally found a Dr I cared for. This office staff struggles from the smallest thing, trying to book an appt to more serious issues like billing questions. Ill miss Dr Bergwin greatly but I'd rather find a new Dr then deal with these people and it sounds like an ongoing problem with everyone. Good luck making it in is this economy treating people this way. 0/10 DON'T RECOMMEND. That is is absolutely incorrect you told me you didn't accept them. I said I'd pay the bill no worries. Then I got a letter in the mail, if you had said something I would have said oh cool I only have them for 1 more months so was that a problem. No and now I'm finding a new Dr. Once again, your staff sucks! And now they're liars

The support staff is wonderful and Dr. Rivera is so kind, thorough and knowledgeable. I alway feel like a person and an individual here and that my needs are always met!!

Dr. Christie is an incredible doctor! We are fortunate to have her in our community. You’ll be very happy if you have Dr. Christie as your family doctor. She’s very present, thorough and caring.

I have been a patient of this clinic for going on 14 years and I have watched the slow decline of service and care in regards to the front desk staff. I just spoke to a woman named Julie and she was nothing but rude and nasty to me over the phone. I am appalled that as a patient of this clinic for as long as I have been, I would be treated with such disrespect. The purpose of working at the front desk of a medical clinic is to be helpful, kind and facilitate the needs of the patient. I have never felt more disrespected and misunderstood. Furthermore, I was told to schedule a physical exam by my doctor to get refills on my prescriptions and when I called to schedule my visit, Julie made it a point to see that I do not receive care. She had me on the phone looking up my own exam history on the MyHealth app so that she could verify that I had been a patient at the Family Clinic previously because she refused to do it. Dr. Rivera is one of my all-time favorite and most valued care providers. It really saddens me that the front desk staff is tarnishing the image of this clinic. I hope changes are made and the process becomes more professional.

I just had an appointment with Holly to establish care. I have a lot of things going on medically and she was patient, kind, and informative in our meeting. I never felt rushed or judged, which is super hard to find since I am a larger person. We made a plan for care and she made great suggestions and answered all of my questions Highly recommend.

The Family Clinic of Fort Collins is a phenomenal doctors office. The front desk staff are kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable. I see Christie Duran and have never had better care. During my initial visit she went above and beyond to address every possible, both my physical and mental health. Not only did she go above and beyond but she was so approachable and happy to talk. I have never had such great care. If you need a medical provider then I highly highly recommend The Family Clinic of Fort Collins.

Dr Christine Duran and Dr Janasek take fantastic care of my son and I. I love that they advocate keeping healthy and eating well vs popping pills to do quick fixes. Both doctors are extremely personable and easy to talk with about pretty much everything.

The most predatory billing department ever. Was told I was all set after confriming before and after my appointment that if there was any balence I would prefer to handle it then as I was moving soon. Of course, they didn't listen, told me I had no balence before sending me mail to an address I didn't live at and then sent my info to a collections agency. As one of the few remaining places not yet owned by a giant company, honestly they'd probably improve if they were bought out.

I recently relocated to the area and this practice was recommended by a friend. I saw Dr. Burgwin yesterday for an annual checkup and I couldn't be more pleased. She was not hurried during the exam and answered my questions thoroughly. She was professional and personable and I would recommend her.

One of the few medical practices where you aren’t left with a feeling that you’re just a number. Every provider is professional and takes time to really listen and are willing to try different approaches to help solve problems. I have been going to Dr Rivera for many years and she has always been caring and helpful.

We have been so pleased with this practice and the people that make it such a kind, welcoming place. We’ve felt very heard here. We see the NPs Holly & today Lisa - they are genuinely concerned and they take the time to listen. We have not felt judged here at all. I feel very fortunate to have found this family practice.

just went in for my annual exam and Matt Duran was very knowledgeable and fun to work with. we went over all my issues and referred me to have some necessary procedures scheduled. i very much enjoyed his concerns for me coupled with a sense of humor correlative with mine. i would consider it lucky for anyone to become a patient here.
