Nicely located on College Ave & Olive.
Terrific front desk service. They will touch base regularly via text message so my biggest tip would be ‘if you need something; say something’. We were switched to an inside room after one night on the street side. Kenzie was an angel. The salads and happy hour are another plus. Espresso coffee makers in the room & sound machines.Lost a star as we had a very upset child in the room next to ours for 2 days & nights, which was quite distressing to listen to. But we’ll be back for sure.
Walkability: Right in the heart of dining, shopping & boutiques.
Food & drinks: Steak salad & Ahi tuna are terrific.

Stayed here 9 years ago. Brought the wife up the Ft Collins for a mini staycation. They welcomed me back after 9 years. So cool.
I reserved a corner suite for 2 nights. What an excellent room. Plenty of space. Super clean and tastefully decorated.
We did not have to move our car the two days we were here. The walk ability of this hotel is ridiculous.
Food, shopping and entertainment are both in site and a short walk.
This was kind of a splurge for me. I really wanted to show the wife a good time and was completely successful.
We had reservations for a large hotel a few miles down for the end of July. She got us a room at the Armstrong after we'd been there and promptly cancelled the other. Ha
The service here is way above par as well. This truly is a top notch business.
Rooms: Roomy corner suite. Spotless. Nicely decorated. The bed was so comfy.
Nearby activities: It's in Old Town. There's more to see and visit than you'll have time for.
Walkability: Walk out the door, turn right or go straight or right, so many places close by.
Food & drinks: The cafe in the hotel, Aces Cafe has such great food.

I am so pleased with my stay here at the Armstrong Hotel! It was a last minute decision to stay here and I am so glad we did. The front desk was accommodating and informative, on-site parking was a plus ($20), location was perfect for exploring the town, and my favorite part - the speakeasy downstairs! It was such a nice surprise! The drinks were fantastic as well as the service and the live piano show was a nice touch. I also appreciated the fact that the front desk communicated through texts to check-in and alert us of hotel happenings. Overall, very happy with our stay!

The Armstrong Hotel is a gem! We give it 5 stars for its unique charm and boutique atmosphere. It's perfectly located, making it easy to explore the area. Being above Mugs Coffee Lounge is a terrific bonus, and the connection to Ace Gillettes Lounge, with its great bar, food, and live piano, adds to the overall experience. Highly recommended!

Hotel is charming and clean, location is great if you like to be close to restaurants and night life. Front desk people were nice enough. I felt safe and my car was not broken into.
Parking is $20 a day and you may have to cross the street to access additional parking. The area is very congested On the weekends. And the hotel is EXTREMELY noisy. I booked a regular Queen room on Booking and probably got the Booking special room - the busy street side room - people screaming outside at all hours, pressure washing at 0600, a cafe right below my window. And it’s an old building with wood floors and thin walls so you can hear the ongoings of other guests. I didn’t sleep for 2 nights because of the noise and on the third finally slept to be woken at 0600 on a Monday to them pressure washing the cafe, which is run by the hotel so they would have scheduled the pressure washing. My dogs unfortunately also didn’t handle the noise well and turned into anxious alarmists. There are foam earplugs in the room though.
Also the lighting in the room was terrible and there was no counter/table space. Which made getting ready for a wedding a little more Complicated. And whatever enzymatic spray they use the room smells absolutely horrible.

This is such a great hotel! So cute, inviting and comfortable. Staff is simply amazing! The only thing is the walls are thin and the street can be quite loud. But I guess that’s just what comes from staying downtown.
Overall, amazing! We booked a group rate for our company and the salespeople were awesome too.

My go-to stay in Fort Collins, this hotel never fails to impress. The location is unbeatable, with easy parking despite the bustling area. While the $20/day parking fee feels a bit steep, the attentive and friendly staff more than make up for it. The rooms are cozy, and the beds are wonderfully comfortable. However, being in an old building means you may encounter some noise, but the thoughtful provision of earplugs and a white noise machine ensures a peaceful night’s rest. Overall, a fantastic choice for a stay in Fort Collins.

Stayed 3 nights at the Armstrong and will gladly stay there any time we're in Fort Collins again! Location is absolutely perfect. The staff is super friendly. We spent each night exploring old town and every time we came back they were there opening the door for us with a smile so we didn't have to use our keycard. Rooms were bigger than we expected just judging from the pictured. ONLY gripe with the room was no readily accessible outlet near the bed to plug in our phones but not a big deal. Housekeeping made up our room every day.... Something that's become a rarity post-covid. We were concerned that parking would be an issue based on other reviews but we had a spot right next to the back door the whole time. Maybe we just got lucky? Lastly, Ace Gillettes lounge in the basement is excellent. Their signature cocktail list is eclectic to say the least but the bartenders are super friendly and can mix all the classics if their menu is just too far out there for you. Beware they're closed Monday and Tuesday though.
