Comes off as a discount grocery but is overpriced. The only thing that should put this place above a Walmart or target is the deli counter; or at least it would be if the deli wasn't closed literally every single time I've gone. Just go to target or trader Joe's and save money and better quality for about the same price.

Not very good. I prefer real homemade bakery items. It is ok in a pinch but not the donuts you should take to work.

while safeways are not my favorite store in general, i think their prices tend to run a little higher than king soopers. I do shop in here on occasion for instacart.Every time i have been in the store has been clean and well stocked. Things are pretty easy to find. thought the aisles are so long. not necessarily a fan of that. The produce has always looked good when i have been in.The freezer section doesn't always make sense where they have things laid out. like today there were pot stickers in 2 places? (meaning 2 different aisles so that was confusing.... why not just put them in on space)the employees are always willing to lend a hand if i need help finding something. There is generally only one person up front cashiering but every time i have been in, the number of people has not really warranted having more people than that. its been pretty quiet every time i have gone in.

My husband and I will not return to this store, ever! We spent over 30 minutes shopping, and when we got to the checkout counter, the credit card processor froze and would not process. The manager told us to go to the next checkout counter. The clerk rerung our food up, and again, the same thing happened...the processor froze. The manager then told us that their machines were doing this with certain cards when customers put in their phone numbers on the keypad (for discounts to be processed). So, since we had no cash on us, we wasted 45 minutes in this store shopping and trying to pay for it. We ended up walking out without the groceries because of the glitch in their system. We shop at all the other Safeways without any problems whatsoever. This place needs to fix their glitches, or shut the doors so customers are not ticked off and walking out the door without their groceries. Very bad customer service! As well, this store is so overpriced we almost fainted!

This store is disgusting. They let people bring in their pets (not service animals). There was a filthy, matted, muddy dog in there today. On a leash but was jumping up on displays grabbing food. I complained o the manager, who just shrugged.

I love Safeway, but this location leaves much to be desired. The produce section is a nightmare. Every time I've been here there have been plastic produce bags in one part of the entire area, and no twist ties. Much of the produce is already over-ripe and/or limp, and the selection or produce is much smaller than other Fort Collins locations. There is no clearance meat section and limited section of meat as well. Store floor is dirty and it seems it has been forgotten. Go elsewhere if you can.

This is now a Safeway and while their isles aren't intuitive, the organization of where they put items doesn't make sense (I always spend too much time trying to find things), and they only have one register open at a time, I will say they have THE BEST avocados in Fort Collins. Every other grocery store has too soft, too hard, or awful avocados. I've never had that experience at this Safeway. Also, they have a pretty good selection of produce. So yes, this place isn't perfect, but there are some "must-haves" here and for that reason, I'll probably continue going.

Dump! This is now a safeway, yet I think it's gotten even worse now! Entire isles closed and looking like a disaster happened, poorly shelved hard to locate products, and the worst for last. I think there only 1 employee there that actually gives a s**** maybe 2. But most of them are bitter and hateful towards customers and life. Go North in College Ave. for a few more blocks and use King Soopers... lesser of two s*** holes.

I love ordering my Children's birthday cakes from the bakery here! They do an amazing job, my son's Hot Wheels cake was fantastic and my daughters Frozen cake was excellent. I just ordered a shark cake for my son's upcoming birthday party and can't wait to see it!

Ive been shopping at Albertsons for quite some time and Im finally fed up. I will not go back. My main problem with Albertsons derives from the hamburger meat. I buy a lot of meat and this will be the last. They wrapped new hamburger in old hamburger and sold it. When I got home to prepare my meal I noticed this. I purchased 96% lean and I guarantee this meat was not 96% lean, after cooking this meat the grease in the pan was rediculous. That of 80% lean hamburger. And to make this even worse, I paid $6 for 1lb. of this garbage. Yuck!
