This is the first salon I’ve made repeat visits to!! I just do a layered cut, no color, but Lexi listens to exactly what I want and makes sure we’re on the same page as she cuts. I finally have the haircut I want and I get so many compliments on my hair now. On top of all of that, the space and people are so nice, so I will keep coming back!

Great hair studio, great stylists and staff, and a great boutique as well. Located in historic old town doesn't hurt either. I'll book an appointment whenever I'm in town

Kenzie gave me the greatest pixie cut I've ever had. She looked at pictures with me, asked questions, and during the cut she asked for my opinion and walked me thru everything. She made my wavy hair the star of the cut. I asked for something that I did not need to style or blow dry and she delivered 100%. I feel so confident every day. A friend said I look like the super hero of an action film.... Best compliment ever!

Got my first haircut here since I moved last summer, took me a while to choose a salon and glad I picked this one! Avery was great, made sure she understood what I wanted done and made it happen! Will definitely be back!

Avery has been doing my hair since August of 2020 and she kills it every time! This salon is the best and it uses very good products.

If you are looking for electrifying blonde hair, walk in and ask for Jessica. I am bodaciously blonder and happier thanks to her. Wonderful and cool hair salon located in the heart of old town occupied friendly people. They need to expand into every shopping mall

Payton updated my look fabulously! I wanted to add back some layers and update my over processed highlights and color. She listened and communicated clearly. I have been trying to get back to a more natural look for years and she did it! Highly recommend! Thank you, Payton!

came in for the first time looking to fix up a money piece that looked kinda funky (from a different salon) and Payton Garcia absolutely killed it!! She made it look brand new, and kept the safety of my hair in mind. My hair looks so good and I feel SO much better looking in the mirror :) thank you again Payton you’re amazing!!

Great experience! I am usually anxious to get a haircut or call for the appointment but the woman on the phone was super nice and welcoming! Lexi cut my hair and did an amazing job styling it. I plan to return!

Roots is such a beautiful, peaceful space. I love the vibe there. Natalie is great! I love the colors and cuts she has given me. I also love the products I’m now using on my hair! I have naturally wavy/curly/frizzy hair, with the products I now use, it’s finally manageable and good for the environment!!! ♥️

Edited: Nicole left so I went with a different stylist , who often splits time between two clients and it feels rushed. She is a great stylist, but haircuts went up significantly between each visit and now are more than I’m willing to pay. They also keep your card on file and will charge you the full price of service for ONE missed appointment even if you’ve been a loyal client. There is no grace given for one missed appointment as many salons do, or half payment charged and applied to future appointments. I won’t return after I have my forced haircut so I don’t waste my money :(Nicole is amazing with wavy and curly hair! I have very thick, course , wavy to curly hair that is hard to cut and manage. She transformed it! She does a dry cut, diffuses, and has great products. She’s also fun to talk to! I highly recommend her and the studio.Services: Bang trim

Bad experience here and it just kept getting worse. First I booked an appt with Jess a level 5 and who specializes in short hair cuts for 12pm. I put in the notes for someone to please give me a call with her prices as they didn't show up online. Someone calls me back a couple days before my booking to confirm my appt, but nothing about pricing. They never read the notes. Then, someone calls me again the day before my appt trying to confirm it for 11:45am. So, I call back to let them know that's incorrect but it goes to voicemail and I leave a message. Day of my appt, I'm called 2 hrs before my appt not to confirm my appt is at 12pm (nope they never returned my call) but to tell me my stylist is sick and can't do my appt. Not very professional in my opinion considering they want 48hrs notice or they charge you. I understand life happens, but we all have lives with things happening. Maybe be more lenient on your cancellation policy if you can't uphold it yourself. Now, I'm frustrated as they have poor communication, get details wrong, and cancel last minute with no comparable options and no other offer to remedy this. So, they cancelled my appt less than 2hrs before my reservation. Which is ironic considering they make it very clear on their website that they will charge your card (that you have to give in order to book your time) if you decide you need to cancel within 48hrs. On top of that, they offered to reschedule me with a level 1 stylist that specializes in color and long haircuts. Not comparable AT ALL to what I originally had booked. Then they tried to book me with the same sick stylist the next morning....so you couldn't give me more than 2hrs heads up that she was sick but you're betting that she'll be all fine to cut my hair less than 24hrs from now? Nope, not risking it as I've already had to rearrange all my plans because I work a lot and this was the only day off I could do. Very disappointed in how this all went down from start to finish and would not recommend booking here. Wish I would've booked literally anywhere else as they did nothing to help other than offer me the same sick stylist who'd probably just cancel again or a stylist who isn't specialized for what I needed.
