It's not cliche. They literally saved my life. They gave me so many tools after my health issues and explanations that I felt empowered.

Great service and great prices for medications. I will use them again for my next surgery in 3-4 months.

I was sent to PVHs ER from an urgent care for abdominal pain as the doctor at urgent care had concerns about appendicitis. It was my first ER visit ever and I felt a little bit silly coming to the emergency room for a tummy ache, but it ended up being a good experience. The tech that came to get me from the waiting room and also placed my IV was amazing, she was very nice. The nurses were super fast and did their jobs efficiently in what was probably a very busy department. The providers (I was seen by both a PA and a doctor) were very polite and knowledgeable, the doctor talked to me about follow up and ensured I knew what to do in the coming days, and the PA performed a very thorough exam and offered me a non narcotic option for pain relief that worked very well, he really cared about getting me the help I needed and taking my preferences into consideration. The CT tech was beyond amazing! I expressed a touch of nervousness about having a CT scan done (never done anything like that before and can be claustrophobic) and he took extra care to explain everything that was happening, from the time he came into my room to the time the scan was complete, he clearly knew what he was doing seeing has he explained the weird feeling from the contrast very accurately and told me exactly what sensations to expect when it was given. i am truly impressed by the quality of this hospitals emergency department. i am so lucky that my pain wasn't anything too serious, just some ovarian cysts (which apparently can mimic appendicitis, hence the urgent care doctor referring me to the ER for labs and imaging) and an electrolyte i deficiency that also caused me to have pain and feel sick. the providers made sure that i would have an appropriate medication to treat the electrolyte issue (i still had pain for several days but much less anxiety as i know that i would be okay and that after a couple of days the medication i was prescribed would fix the issue and i would feel better) and also that i had contact info for a womens clinic that ended up finding a solution for the cysts. now i know that if something super life threatening ever happens, i can trust the doctors, physician assistants, nurses, radiology department, EMTs, even the registration people at PVH to take good care of me and my loved ones. thank you all so much for making an embarrassing, scary, and painful experience so much easier.

Absolutely do not recommend; nobody likes to go to the hospital but if you have to please choose another facility. Staff is impatient and crude and awful. And there used to be a staff member Patricia...can't remember full name but do not recommend asking her for help, very rude and inappropriate/think she was in management and that's too bad b/c she was part of the awful experience. Do not recommend this facility in any department.

Excellent care! The nurses and staff even give their best care and compassion to the highly entitled turd burglars who are verbally abusive and poorly trained on proper social behavior!

Yes, and my prescription was in stock.I wouldn't have considered trying UCHealth for some of my pharmacy needs, except for an earlier recommendation from an urgent care provider, and with gentle suggestions on the system's My Health Connection, thanks!

I recently went here for total hip replacement surgery, as this is where my surgeon of choice utilized this hospitals facilities. I had read some of the reviews, but always like to make my own thoughts known. I arrived at 5:30 AM for an 8:00 AM surgery. There was construction going on .. updating the facility, believe. Even though, the intake was excellent. The check in went without a hitch, nor problem. Everyone ... doctors, nurses, medical personal, as well as hospital personal were happy to see me, and showed it. The place was clean and neat. Signage was excellent in the parking area, and there was always somebody to walk me to the next area .. introduced me and made sure that I was comfortable. Smiling faces are a great way to start your journey through a surgical procedure .. in this case, total hip replacement. Everyone came by to make sure that I was okay and even took some time to speak with me. I was treated like a movie star, or some other famous person; which, I can assure you, I am not. I had been walked through the procedure prior to, and kept abreast of each next step. Everyone was smiling, happy and even while doing their jobs, took a moment to share a smile and laugh. I always like to make people laugh and smile. Everyone was responsive. Dr. C. Dana Clark, the surgeon, and his assistant, Matt, were excellent. I was very happy that I listened to the recommendations of other physicians. Caring, thoughtful and explained everything right form the first. I felt very secure, and definitely in the right hands. Post surgery, was great. My every need was met and felt secure and happy. The food was excellent. Fresh broccoli, carrots .. all healthy. Always someone stopping by to make sure that I was happy and not in need of anything. Everyone made sure that i was not in need of anything and all questions were answered. One of the nurses, Sarah, held a zoom meeting between other patients, myself included, and herself. All questions were answered, and we were left confident in all upcoming aspects. This is the way a hospital should be run. I have no complaints of any kind, and am highly complimentary for all that they did. Actually, I will be returning next year for the other hip. My compliments to everyone at UC Health Powder Valley Hospital, and to OCR surgeon Dr. C Dana Clark and his assistant Matt. They are the best. Thank you, to all, as you made me feel extremely happy and cared for.

I ended up here based on miscommunication and unfortunately my experience was not pleasant. I was kept on some sort of changing table bed while being mentally assessed every few hours. I left with more bruises and contusions than I arrived with. I'm sure I was not a pleasant patient to work with at the time, as I was on sleeping medication and very confused. My anxious pup was home alone for over 18 hrs, I was upset and I felt there was no reason I should be hospitalized. I've never been to the ER before, so I don't have anything to compare this to, but my hospitalization experience did feel more like a prison booking than an ER visit. (The review posted during my stay: This has been a massively horrible experience for me. The doctors make fun of all the patients. There were two nurse whose interactions were a please, but the doctor and social workers are absolute joke. I came in for lethargy and they are sending me to a psych ward. I'M beyond livid and will never be coming here again.)

They mistreated me due to the color of my skin they lied to me directly to my face just because they didn't want to write me a script for Gaviscon. I'm a pharmacist for CVS and I asked for a script to help me from vomiting and allow me to eat and was shown systemic racism by Megan and the E.R. staff and pharmacist I do not recommend anyone to go here for any needs avoid this location at all cost they are unprofessional and unethical period....

When my old pharmacy was not able to get a particular dosage I was able to get it here. I have found that it is easier a6they haven't had to wait for a medication to come in in order to fill. Nice and knowledgeable pharmacists too.

This is another horrible experience with this hospital system in general. They lie, don't accept responsibility and are poorly trained and I'm sick of hearing about their problems that have lead to this point. It's bad and getting worse.
