Salesperson (Ryan) was super honest. Even gave me advice to wait because of the inequity of my current car. But, when I still wanted to buy a new Volvo he helped get me an amazing deal! Very trustworthy and honest. I’ve bought a lot of cars and they are by far the best in customer service.

This group sincerely cares about the customer. Starting with setting clear expectations and following through with good communication throughout, I was extremely pleased with the experience. Mike seemed To take extra care to ensure I was satisfied with the service, including calling an Uber to help me get back to my office for a meeting.

If I could give minus 2 stars I would… I brought my XC90 July 2023 to sell it back to Pedersen (we were moving out of state for 6 months then out of the country). We were told that it would be a break even - we wouldn’t owe anything but also not get anything back - which it was fine. The car needed repair and everything was arranged by me. We signed a power of attorney document and Ryan Schlote said repair would be done and they would purchase the car. Fast forward a couple of months we kept being charged payments from financial services even though we continually stated we didn’t have the car anymore and that it was at Pedersen parking lot for months… we called Pedersen, emailed and nothing. There was no communication whatsoever between Pedersen and us.One random day, we got an email from Ryan Schlote that the parts needed for the repair was late and the car price dropped and therefore we owed $5000. This man ONLY contacted me because I now needed to pay them. We gave up on selling the car to them and my husband flew back to pick the car up. We thought we were done with them. Nope: wrong FOB key was handed to us, missing the actual key silver blade inside and I am currently fighting them to help me pay for the reprogramming ($200) and the key blade ($95). Talk about investing large amounts of money and being utterly disrespected. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY. They don’t care about you, they want your money.

I had such a fantastic experience at Pedersen Volvo!! We were on a road trip and driving past Vail when the dreaded turtle icon and check engine light came on! The car was having issues accelerating which was very concerning. I called Pedersen and Nancy was so kind and helpful! We were able to make it to our destination in Fort Collins and then had the car towed to Pedersen. I spoke with both Nancy and Miranda from service numerous times over the next day and they were always so courteous, kind and helpful! Miranda was able to look at my car the next day and was so prompt in giving me updates and was able to fix the car (a broken spark plug!) in just a few hours and we were able to pick up our car that evening and continue our drive the next morning! The price was super reasonable and they even washed it for us! I am so, so thankful for their help to make it home to Minnesota for Christmas! If I lived in Fort Collins, I would definitely take my car to Pedersen Volvo and I am so thankful that they were there to save the day! Miranda and Nancy, you two are awesome!!

Awesome experience at Volvo. This is our third car purchase from Pedersen Volvo. Wayne, Ryan, and the rest of the team are great. They have always offered us very fair pricing on our new car purchases and have also given us great value for our trade ins. For all three of our cars, Wayne has helped us find a specific car model and trim within weeks even though they didn’t have in stock on their lot. On top of a great car buying experience with Pedersen Volvo, you can’t beat their service team. Responsive and easy to work with. They are always super helpful, friendly, and somehow everyone always knows my name. Cheers to Pedersen Volvo.

I have been with Pedersen Volvo since 2020 and they are AMAZING when if comes to selling a car... Now, don't expect them to honor what they offered if they are buying your car. Bad communications skills with clients and costumers, losing documents, never return your calls and willing to drag a deal and put you in a hole. Unprofessional people and neglect was what I experience here the last few months! Unless, again, you are giving them your money, then they are very polite and efficient. Good luck!

Michael in service has a refreshing personality in the world of automobile service; his patience, kindness and friendliness is unmatched. He helped me navigate the complex world of decisionmaking on my Volvo that has over 100,000 miles. Michael explained all of the options that were available in a concise manner without ever making me feel like I was wasting his time by going over the options. He was so responsive; he was always so quick at getting back with me and letting me know what parts were available and when there were available appointments and was quick to let me know when answers and responses were available from Volvo. He's such a breath of fresh air in automotive service these days. Thank you, Michael!

I can't say enough positive things about our car buying experience at Pedersen Volvo, and specifically about working with Ryan Schlote. My husband and I were exploring an XC40 Recharge for months. We were motivated but also hesitant to jump into the EV world and invest in technology that was so new. This made our car search extremely complicated. We test drove the Recharge three different times over the course of months as we did our research on EVs. During this time, Ryan was supportive and helpful but also patient and not pushy (which was very unusual for our many car purchasing experiences). After months in this search, we returned to find the perfect Recharge at an extremely fair price and have been enjoying it ever since.The dealership is an extremely welcoming and pleasant place. We had wonderful interactions with everyone we encountered throughout the process and we continue to feel supported as questions come up about our new vehicle. We are extremely grateful for the service we received and highly recommend this dealership.

No way to say enough good about Pedersen Volvo! I bought a car somewhere else in 2014 and Pedersen has won my total trust in servicing the vehicle these 9 years since. Spencer in service found me a vehicle to trade my old car for this week and it feels like the whole place was excited for me! Cori in sales was amazing at getting it all together, and Wayne got me out the door in my new vehicle. Apart from Pedersen I have never had an experience where I trusted a car dealer. I will be buying cars from Pedersen Volvo as long as I am driving!

Extremely disappointed with the service dept. at Pederson Volvo in Fort Collins. Check engine light came on, had a local shop do a quick diagnostic and the result was a misfire on ignition coil 2. I had to replace ignition coil 4 in September, so this was very frustrating news. My husband called Pederson Volvo and explained the history of the vehicle. He expressed his hesitance in driving the vehicle over 250 miles to Fort Collins, we live in Basalt CO, on a bad ignition coil. The service woman assured him coils rarely go out and it’s just fine to drive with a coil misfiring and potentially going bad. So we held off on having the car serviced locally and waited until we’d be down on the front range. Shortly after dropping the car off, we were notified that a code for a misfire on ignition coil 4 was coming up but it only stayed on for a few seconds. So they were certain it was just clogged fuel injectors and recommended a pricey $550 service to clean the injectors, and reassured me customers never come back with issues. I was reluctant because it felt like the ignition coil issue wasn’t being addressed, but I trusted their judgment and believed they had made a thorough and complete diagnosis. Less than 2 weeks later the check engine light came on and the car was running very poorly, barely driveable. Called a local shop that specializes in European vehicles and was told by the owner to only drive the vehicle to the shop because when a coil is going bad the motor runs very poorly and will eventually shut down. Which is exactly what happened. Got the vehicle into the shop and within a few hours the mechanic called and said ignition coil 2 was bad. I got my car back the next day, repaired and paid half as much as Volvo charged to fix nothing. Called Volvo expecting they would stand by their mistake of inaccurately or rather, incompletely diagnosing my car. Their response was ‘“ we did what we could for you”. I expected A LOT more from a dealer of this caliber. Apparently integrity has been exchanged for profit. Won’t be coming back.

We had a great time buying our new Volvo at Pedersen.Our main point of contact, Brendan Nook, was absolutely wonderful throughout our car-buying process. We were already 99% sure that we wanted an XC40 Recharge, Ultimate trim, but he answered all our questions and we went out for a great test-drive to get to know the car better. He walked us through the car's MANY amazing features, answering our questions every step of the way. We are new electric vehicle owners so we had lots of questions about how the car works, how to charge it up, etc. and Brendan answered them all.We'd sort-of dreaded going into a dealership to talk with a sales person, imagining that there would be a lot of pressure to make a decision quickly. But there was none of that with Brendan; he was super friendly, informative and kind.We also enjoyed the time we spent with Wayne Roys, who was our point of contact for purchasing the vehicle (signing most of the paperwork, trading in our old vehicle, etc.) He too was patient in answering our questions, and did a great job making what might otherwise have been a tedious process, a fun one instead. Both he and Brendan made an effort to get to know us and patiently answered SO many questions for us.We love our new car, and we had a wonderful experience buying our Volvo at Pedersen, and both Brendan Nook and Wayne Roys were the reason why.
