Requested style: I am trying to find someone to do a perm on long hair. My hair was "too long" for the stylist.

I have to start this by saying that the lady I had was very kind, but I think there was an element of maybe not hearing/listening which lead me to really hating this cut in the end. I came in, in need of a trim to cut off my dead ends, which were real crunchy so I knew I would lose a few inches. I told her to take what she needed to make it healthy, but keep in mind I still wanted it long. I also explained that I do have curly hair and I was growing out some bangs from like months back so it was a little heavier on one side so maybe to blend that in if possible. She said ok and around the back she definitely did make it healthy, took all the dead ends and kept it long. It made me confident she heard me. But when it got to the front she gave me short layers around my face, like a 90’s Rachel cut. I didn’t mess with it too much at the salon, so it was ok and it felt healthier . When I got home I took a better look and I’ve got four inch layers by my ears, I can’t even pull all my hair back into a ponytail because the front is now short and it’s also uneven. I’m getting hair extensions to cover this up for the next 6 months until it’s grown out.
I do advise if you go here to just be extra clear on what you’re asking for, I probably shouldn’t have been so chill about it and I regret not stopping her.

I have had a great experience at this salon and Stevie I wonderful and very knowledgeable, and she always makes sure you are completely comfortable .The front desk staff is very friendly and the salon is very clean.

I had the best color and cut experience with Grace! I came in without much direction, but she was able to capture exactly what I was wanting. I left feeling confident and beautiful thanks to her!

This was my second time here but with a different girl and i asked for my hair to be much lighter and I ended up paying too much money to walk out of this place with the same hair i walked in with. I do not recommend her but this place overall has a good vibe.

I have been going to Ohana for 10+ years and they have been fabulous! Melany always listens to my concerns and comes up with the right solution and style every time. My daughter has also seen them regularly for highlights and color correction and hasn’t ever been disappointed. I would highly recommend. They go out of their way to make sure you are happy and take care of you with good attention through the whole appointment. You won’t be disappointed!

Outstanding!! I've been going to 'Ohana for years and have always had consistent results and service. I am very particular and am always thrilled with the results. Melany goes beyond being a good stylist. She uses artistry when mixing and placing my colors.I always get compliments. The salon itself is fresh, with an edge. No corners are cut. Go!

I asked the “stylists” for long layer and curtain bangs I showed her a picture & she assured to me she can do that haircut. The results were okay at the hair salon mind you I did not check out my hair before I left since she had another customer waiting & did not finish blow drying my hair.
When got home I styled my hair and noticed what a horrible job she did. My hair is so uneven it’s not okay I paid $80+ a gratuity for me to have my hair ruined !!!!! I’m so upset I will never be returning or recommending this place to anyone.
Save your money !!!!!

My MIL is in a wheelchair while she recovers from a stroke. We thought taking her to get her hair washed and styled might boost her spirits. The team at Ohana was phenomenonal. I emailed the salon ahead of time to see if they could accommodate her, and Rachel went above and beyond in making sure they could do so. Anessa was her stylist, and she was so thoughtful and compassionate and willing to work around any limitations. They took incredible care of her and the experience could not have been better.

Today, I had an appointment with Casey, and she was amazing! The salon was adorable and cozy, and Casey was very kind and experienced. Unfortunately, my hair was not lifting my old color due to a bad appointment with a stylist at another salon. Casey was honest with me and told me she wouldn't be able to give me the hairstyle I wanted today. She didn't charge me since she wasn't able to do my hair, and I really appreciate her transparency. She blow dried my hair and was just super kind and understanding. She could have gone ahead and tried to do what I wanted, but instead, she was truthful with me. I strongly recommend her, and though I didn't get my hair done fully, I still had a fantastic experience and would go back!

I followed my stylist, Grace Overholt to this salon and I will follow her anywhere. I have been through a lot of stylists and she is the BEST. She always listens and does exactly what I request from her. If you’re looking for a new one, she is the ONE! The Salon is also super cool, open concept and roomy! Highly recommend.

My appointment was with Kelly Garza. I was in town for the week and had some time to kill so I decided to get my hair done. Kelly’s new to the area but has been doing hair for a long time. I instantly felt comfortable in her chair as her demeanor was warm and upbeat. I wanted a transformation and boy did she give me just that. I was a bit nervous but she was very thorough with the consultation and set my expectations. I’m over the moon, so happy with my new look! I came in with overgrown roots and long drab hair. I wanted lots of blond and a short cute bob, and now I feel like a new woman again! She does it all from cut, color, extensions to makeup for special occasions. I can’t wait to come back and see her!
