Maggie’s Sewing and Vacuum is an excellent place to go to for sewing machine repairs. They are friendly, knowledgeable and have lots of integrity! I have a sewing machine from the 1970s and I accidentally turned several dials on it. It would only stitch in a zigzag pattern. My friend and I tried to troubleshoot what was wrong for over an hour with no luck. I took it to Maggie’s hoping that they could fix it.
They quickly knew what was wrong and then worked on it for almost half an hour. They could have told me that they couldn’t fix it, but they were honest. They did not charge me for adjusting the dials and looking it over. I bought sewing machine oil from them and several packets of various sewing machine needles. They don’t repair machines this old, but they even oiled the exterior the machine for me since I bought oil from them.
I’ll absolutely buy a new sewing machine from them when my ancient one breaks down. I’ll also be going there for vacuum repairs. These folks have such integrity and are truly of the highest service.
I’ve called several of my friends that sew to let them know about Maggie’s! I highly recommend going there!
