Good luck getting this place to answer their phone or call you back, it was like this last year too so this will be the last year I file here. It has been two weeks since I have gotten in contact with this place even though I call and call.

Granted, I had a kind of difficult case considering I am self employed but I had everything I was told to bring and was assigned to Malika. Within 5 minutes I could tell she really just didn't want to do it. She referred me to someone else at a different location. Ended up doing my own online with a different company and it was really easy so I'm not sure what the issue was with her but I was not impressed.

If I could leave a 0 I would. We confirmed our appointment and when we went no one was there. We kept calling the number on the door and once someone answered and said they were there and then hung up. No one was there and no one picked up the phone after that. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE ?!! 2nd review made appointment on line for Tuesday called today to confirm but told not open on Tuesdays even though computer site said they were. Have to go a different business that really wants my business!!!!

I submitted my documents over a month and a half before tax day (April 15th) with a few questions. My "tax pro" never responded, I gave her the benefit of the doubt and assumed she was busy. I gave it two weeks. Chatted her again, asking if she needed any additional documents. Never heard back. I tried calling her office, left a message, Never heard back. I emailed her a week later and she responded saying she couldn't open one of the doc's I sent (3 weeks later). I resent it, she still couldn't open it. And told me to send it to her email. THEN proceeded to give me a wrong email. I tried telling her that none of my emails were sending and that it is not a valid email address. Never heard back. Called the help line (April 12th), they kept saying my account was a diy and that I don't have a tax pro. I got tossed around for 50 min until they found my tax pro and said they would schedule a call for me an her on monday (it was friday).I am guessing my tax pro did not want to talk on monday because, shocker, she finally emailed me back Friday evening, Still saying she couldn't open the doc. I told her the email she gave me was not a valid email.Once we got that sorted out I sent over all my documents. CRICKETSI call, email, on the 15th, 16, 17th, and nothing. I reach out to their office and leave a message there. And no surprise, once I involved someone else she finally filed my taxes, on the 19th.AND this is the second year I have had issues with a tax pro, I do not know why i gave them a second chance. It was even worse the second time.So now this year I filled late, Still had to pay the 295 for services, and still have all of my questions unanswered.NEVER coming back, and suggest to anyone who asks that they do the same.(and to top it off, I tried posting this review through their "feed back survey" but apparently it needs to be at least 10 characters long... ? which I far exceed)

I was supposed to be a drop off appt, and they were able to assist me that day in filing my taxes instead of doing the drop off method. Real lifesaver.

Malaika is a tax GODDESS. She helped my wife and I through every step and exceeded our expectations for this tax year. We weren’t expecting any refund and she ended up saving our lives. Thank you Malaika and H&R Block! We will see you next year ?

I was called and asked to come in tonight at 7:30 PM to finish my taxes. I arrived 2 minutes early and was advised my tax preparer was finishing up and would be right with me. at 7:35 the receptionist reminded the tax preparer she had an appointment. at 7:40 another employee greeted me and told me they were working to get my tax preparer available to me. at 7:50 PM i requested to know if my appointment was still going to happen and i was assured yes, and that they could stay late. at 7:51 PM my tax prepare comes out and asks me if i can come back again tomorrow night at 7:30 PM.This is the second time in my life H&R block has done this to me. They lack time management and respect to their customers. I cant imagine asking someone to drive out at the end of the night just to sit around for a half and hour and then tell them to come back and try again tomorrow. How can you possibly expect me to return?
