Both my parents died last year and Goes was extremely empathetic and helpful. With care and kindness they helped me navigate through a very difficult time. I highly recommend using Goes when the time comes.

Ren Scherling and everyone at Goes Funeral was incredibly helpful after our mom’s unexpected passing. They were kind, informative and communicative throughout the entire process. I never felt like they pushed anything onto us or tried to “upsell” any packages or items. They were completely focused on helping us do what was needed to get the closure that would be best for us. I’ve never needed to make arrangements before, but I felt really confident that they would help us walk through the entire process. The fact that they provided additional information for things that need to be taken care of after someone’s passing as well as answering any questions that we had was such a plus. They also had their prices listed upfront so nothing was a surprise charge once everything was said and done. We are really grateful for everyone that helped us at Goes.

My experience with Goes started when our mother unexpectedly passed in mid-January 2023. Having never had to interact with a funeral home, my sister and I had no idea what to expect. From the first moment that Ashley answered the phone, I knew that Goes was the most compassionate and informative fit for our family and Ren and Sam helped us tremendously through such a difficult loss. We enjoyed learning about the water cremation process and felt that it was perfect for my mom who so loved flowers and gardening.Unbelievably, my sister tragically passed less than a week after we collected my mother's remains from Goes. Even though the entire staff had known my sister in vivid life, they were now tasked with caring for her as she crossed this final bridge. Ren, Sam, and the entire staff were beyond compassionate and worked hard to give me and my father time with my sister that was so desperately needed. Ren took my every call and answered every text quickly and with so much grace. I truly cannot express how careful Goes was in this process and how cared for we felt.Goes is the epitome of service. professionalism, and compassion. I am forever grateful to them for helping to guide me through one of the most difficult periods of my life and to share my burden when it got too heavy.

I was going to use Allnutt funeral home because they are right down the street from me but found out they are now corporately owned so chose Goes funeral care because it is family owned.The owner Chris and his son were very kind and the manager, Ren was very helpful and considerate. I appreciated that I could text him when I had questions rather than have to talk on the phone.

My dad passed away in September 2023 and I went to Goes Funeral because a friend of mine had used their services and they seemed wonderful. Let me tell you that Goes Funeral and Ren specifically was so compassionate and supportive to my mother and I during such a hard time. Ren made things go smoothly and provided a comfortable environment for us to spend time with our family member. He stayed in constant communication while having some family tensions and stayed on top of taking care of my dad. Highly recommend using Goes Funeral to handle all your services of saying goodbye! Staff was amazing as well, but if you go please ask for Ren he's amazing!

When faced with an unexpected loss, they really came to our rescue. Fully answered all of our questions and offered above and beyond service and care. We truly felt loved and cared for during a difficult time. Can't recommend them enough!

Goes Funeral Care are the most kinest people I have come across. With my grief of my husband's passing, they took me step by step of what they were doing. Their compassion for my loss was genuine. Thank you for everything you have done for me and my family and the extra steps you did for us. Like filling necklace and bracelet Urns and Even helping me fax documents. We were very blessed to find Goes and to be able to work with them while dealing with a loss. Ren was so helpful and sympathetic throughout the process. He went far above and beyond to take care of us and was very communicative. It's never a fun situation to be working with a funeral home, but Ren and Goes made the process as smooth and caring as they could.

We chose Goes based on reviews and are so glad that we did. Chris and John were so kind and respectful of Mom and us, even wearing shirts and ties at 3AM. I explained that we are not a funeral family and there was no pressure. Every detail was handled with care and professionalism. Thank you just doesn't seem enough!

Ren and the staff at Goes Funeral care are amazing! Ren held my hand (figuratively) through the entire process and made me feel comfortable and at ease at a time that I did not think that was possible. They truly went above and beyond in helping by storing remains for us and then later delivering them because I wasn't comfortable transporting them in my vehicle. I wish Google would let me give higher than 5 stars because they deserve it!

Words can not explain how thankful I am to have walked these hard times with Goes Funeral Care. Ren and Dane are such gentle souls and so kind. Coming into see my husband was so nerve wracking and they provided me everything I needed to make this experience as good as they could given the circumstances. I loved that they stayed with me till I was ready to be alone and even stayed long after they were closed to allow me the opportunity to sit with my Honey and say my farewells. I went back the next day to pick my Honey up and these two men provided me with such love and care. They truly are angels sent from above. If I could help anyone get the closure they need I would highly recommend allowing these gentlemen to help you through your difficult journey. Thank you Ren and Dane for all you have done for me. Chris was beyond kind and helpful in assisting us with my fathers cremation. He was friendly and professional through the whole process. He does not try to upsell you but instead help you to gently get through this rough time. The staff was professional and more than kind when we picked up his remains giving us space and treating him respectively.

Ren and all his staff are so caring and empathetic. No detail is too small for Ren to think about and take care of. His goal is to make the process as beautiful as possible so the family can concentrate on saying goodbye. He was in constant communication through the while process so we knew our loved one was safe. Was so patient throughout the process, even when we changed our mind on things.
