Genesis South has taken a decline. Spin bikes are broken, rusted, and overall the room is dirty. Air conditioning doesn’t work and it’s become more hot spin. Someone is going to get hurt and possible heatstroke. I feel for the instructors who are the front lines who continue to have to listen to complaints. They say that they are going to renovate, but there has been no movement or updates.I have been a member for over 12+ years. I pay ‘premium’ for South, yet it’s not Premium. They need to figure out the air conditioning, equipment and facilities overall.Sad. Disappointed. The only saving grace is the instructors. Shout out to Ronnie who does great rides in his spin classes. If it wasn’t for him and a few other instructors, I would have cancelled my membership 2 years ago!

Has always been a great club, but the current renovation will bring much appreciated updates and repairs. Excited to see the finished product.

If you don’t post membership cost on your website, automatic red flag! I will look elsewhere. Immediate sense of a corporation dominated facility.

We have been members for 2 plus years, I love how close they are, but more and more things are falling into disrepair, and cleanliness is very poor. The AC wasn’t working most of the summer, the hot water goes out constantly now, so we can rarely shower here. Hot tub is down about half the time, machines are down for 6mo plus at a time, and sometimes it’s so disgusting in the showers and hot tub I don’t want to use them anyways. We repeatedly have to ask for the hot tub to be cleaned as it gets very scummy. Seems like all the money is going into more tennis courts instead of keeping the gym up and running and clean. We go to the prospect gym more and more because it is far cleaner. I honestly have a hard time recommending this gym anymore because of these issues.

I just joined a few weeks ago and love it! The gym is huge, very clean and super organized. Loads of group classes to choose from and my first few complementary sessions with a trainer - Todd Oswald have been great. He is super inspirational and I am enjoying working out with him!

In order for a child to take a class , they need to have a child account and a $34 recurring monthly fee associated to it. For them to attend the class that you have to pay for on top of that amount. You have to sign a contract but there is no notification of this monthly bill sent, so if the class has ended you will still be charged for this for months or even years without any one notifying you. Needless to say we got a new credit card and they sent a letter that my child's account was overdue! An account we hadn't used for 6 months. So I went in to cancel it & was given a waive on the late fee & charged the last $34 dollars and told it was done. A few weeks later I receive another overdue letter from their corporate office that my child's account is still in arrears for not giving a 30 day notice & a late fee - for an account he hadn't used in 6 months. ?I recommend being very skeptical of their contracts and business practices. Yes, I could go around and verify each member of my families individual purchases but not having a paying member check-in at your business for over 6 months should have been a huge flag to do their due diligence to ensure responsible business practices.Business practices aside, the tennis class was lovely for my 10 yr old the few weeks he took it. Just not worth the hundreds of extra dollars I was charged, collection letters, rise of blood pressure, time wasted after ward, or overall rigmarole. Proceed with caution or just find a class through the city. Needless to say, my spouse and our growing children will not be part of the Genesis family ever again.

Mostly cleaned well kept. Not their fault really if things are a mess because they're always short staffed it seems. Fun club with great abs classes and busy positive atmosphere.

I’ve been a member at this facility since the year 2000. I’ve seen it go from a privately owned company to much larger company with locations in other states outside of Colorado. Since that transition, I’ve seen the overall quality of the club go down specifically to the cleanliness of the locker rooms, bathrooms, sauna, hot tub, steam room, etc.…. The cardio area is really really good with lots of tread mills, stationary bikes, stair, climbers, etc…and set up well. The weight room has basically everything one would need to lift weights. However, it is smaller than the north location and the machines are placed very close to one another. There is a lower area which used to be a full length basketball court. Half of the basketball court has been transitioned into a turf area with squat, racks pull up bars, multipurpose apparatus, kettle, bells, dumbbells, etc… the other half of the basketball court remains a basketball court half court that would be with a third basket. I don’t use the tennis facilities. However, those who I know who played tennis are very impressed with the overall tennis facility and how tennis is run at this club. There is also an outdoor pool with lifeguards. Food and beverages are available as well. Overall, this is a great club on the south end of town whether you are a student or a family with children who would take advantage of all of the facilities. I’ve been a member for 24 years and I’ll keep going when I’m on that side of town.

Upgraded my gym pass to have access to the South location for the family to enjoy the pool as well as the hot tub. The hot tub went down several weeks ago, which I understand it takes time to fix. But when I called to ask the status, before making the 20 minute drive, I was told it was all fixed. It's open, but it is as cold as the indoor/outdoor pool. Then when my partner asked staff about it, if they have a time-line on when it might be fixed, the young woman replied, "I don't know, do you?" She was on face time and couldn't be bothered to deal with a valid question. Fingers crossed I'm not locked into this expensive membership.

I would like to give Abby and Molly a shoutout for being super accommodating and understanding. I loved the facility for the short period of time that I was there. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The gym is equipped with everything you need and I never had trouble finding a machine.

My daughter did a couple weeks of summer camp here and absolutely loved it. Councilors were great and she had a lot of fun. However, there are a couple facility concerns: she is 7, and the a/c seemed to be broken in her classroom so on days when it was high 90s she said it was very hot indoors and they were sweating (not sure if this was a temporary issue or not?). I understand things like that can happen, but there was also a piece of glass in her classroom that she cut her knee on while playing with toys, and - more concerning - she came home another day with a cut on her foot because of a broken light and exposed nail inside the pool. I would recommend the program, but I really hope they start dedicating some staff to inspecting the classrooms and activity areas each day to ensure they are safe.

I sent my triplets here for preschool and PreK and I couldn’t be happier. Their teachers and staff were genuinely invested in each of my kids. They were caring, communicative, and passionate. They also had great after-school activities that kept my kids begging for more. I couldn’t recommend this school enough!
