I was a loyal customer of FRII for 15 years. I referred customers to them, and set them up with FRII. Starting in Sept 2022, they started disconnecting my services each month, on the DAY THE BILL WAS GENERATED!!! It was not due for another 5 days, and they had my Credit Card!!! I would send them a message to ask them to charge my card, and they would do it , and NOT add it to auto pay. On December 31st, 2022, they shut down all services, including the primary name servers for all 5 of my domains. I called, and emailed, no response. I sent messages and worked with the registrar to get control of my domains that FRII had registered as theirs!!! The last day before the Registrar took the Domains from FRII they released them. I moved all of the services to other hosts, and other registrars. After every thing was moved they had the nerve to send me a bill for services they were not providing. When I sent a ticket to request the bill be canceled, the response explains the attitude of the Employees."its people like you why frii went out of businessRobert T"They were horribly mismanaged out of existence.

Callous disregard for customers and their businesses. Another outage 12-31-22 that persists through 1-4-23 with NO UPDATE on their phone system or website. After 27 years with this company I’m taking my business elsewhere. These people are sloppy, reckless and dangerous.

I just heard a rumor y'all are going under.FRII, was an institution that could have found a powerful niche here in Colorado - but due to multiple missteps by the capitalist firm which acquired FRII - it was no longer favored, and doomed to failure.I am a former employee from here - the company was run into the ground by the venture capitalists who purchased it.They didn't want to invest in the company. They allowed their President, Vice President, head of operations, head of billing, their NOC supervisor, all but 2 of the NOC employees, both systems engineers, a jr systems engineer, two network engineers, and more - all walk away from the company between 2016 and 2019. Rather than increase pay, and start providing the funding that was needed to guarantee the data center didn't go down.I am really sad to see this, I had hope the new person they put in charge would be capable of saving the company - but I doubt the capitalist's were willing to invest in him.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. Completely unreliable internet service. Have had outages that last days. Connection is always spotty. I have no choice in internet provider due to apartment complex restrictions, otherwise I would switch service providers. As soon as I get out of my current lease, FRII will never have me as a customer again.

Update: they have removed any and all posts on their Facebook page (the only place where you can get ANY response from them - including by phone) which referenced an event where their customers had no internet service for weeks straight. This shows that FRII not only lacks quality of service and customer care, but also lacks accountability. I try to never wish ill fortunes on people or entities, but FRII has no redeeming qualities about it and doesn't deserve to have any customers. Unfortunately, many people are locked in contracts or are forced to use it since their apartment complex uses it. This almost makes you wish for their inevitable closure so that your apartment complex has no other choice but to find another service.Unfortunately stuck with this company since it is provided by the apartment complex I am in. Currently looking at ANY option for additional internet since their internet is unreliable. When it works, it is very fast. When it doesn't, you will get no support and just receive a "voicemail inbox is full" response when attempting to call them. Even when it is working, it seems like video conferencing is extremely unreliable at any time of day. I doubt they will receive any new customers after seeing their reviews but, if you are seeing this and are still considering them, stay away. It isn't worth it.If this company can get their operations under control, I will update this review accordingly. However, that would require better service, reliability, and a lot better communication with customers - as there is currently none. How can you consider yourself a legitimate company with these practices? Do betterNote: currently writing this from a Starbucks because my internet is down for a second day straight.

I have this through my apartment complex and would 100% rather pay for my own. Weekly outages lasting hours are the norm, which as a student is inconvenient and extremely anxiety inducing to say the least. On the off chance it is “working” the service is slow and unreliable for anything other than quick google searches. Go somewhere else if you want good internet.

Is this a real company? Giving this company one star should be a BLESSING. Been countless instances where their “services” have gone out for extended periods of time. You’d think a competent provider would be able to trouble shoot an outage in under a day right? Wrong. Expect to have outages for 1-3 days all while still paying whatever ridiculous sum these clowns charge monthly. Wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. Wake up or go to bed.

Wifi has been unavailable since Thursday. I’m aware that a core router needed replacement, but maintenance and checking the status of these regularly falls within the responsibility of the company. I work in the technology sector, I know how complicated this is, but regardless an oversight of duties by the ISP. Prior to this connection has been consistent in one aspect alone, how INCONSISTENT it is. Multiple daily outages lasting only a few minutes but always incredibly inconvenient. Unreliable service. Unsure as to why a number of businesses and housing complexes in the area use this ISP.

If I could leave a 0 star review on Google for FRII I would. The lack of communication over the past 2 days and their inability to provide the most basic timeline for when services will be back online has been beyond frustrating. This morning, they mention on Facebook that their services will be back online "ASAP" and yet 10 hours later we still have no service, nor have we heard any further communication regarding this outage. I live in an apartment building, but if it were up to me I would switch providers immediately. If you are looking for an ISP, avoid FRII at all costs.

Terrible service. Completely unreliable. I’m on my fourth consecutive day without internet now, and still no ETA on when it will be back up. The only reason I have them is because my apartment complex uses them as their exclusive provider for the building. I will not be renewing my lease with my apartment this year for this reason. I work from home and not having reliable internet is affecting my job.

Worst internet company i’ve ever had. I work from home and do everything online, internet has been out for multiple days with no ETA whatsoever on when it will be back up. Apartment complex force this internet on us due to a contract or else there’d be 0 chance anyone would use this company. Also pretty pathetic that the apartment complex chooses the lowest grade internet provider in the area when it’s a high end complex. If you work online, or use the internet often and rely on it, DO NOT move into any complex or home that only offers FRII. You will be screwed.

Customer service hurts my soul. I read a review about how they were condescending about "not being able to send emails" and didnt believe it but it's on their website now. Like no when my internets been fully off for two days I can do even less than send emails. Write off $360 I've wasted on two days of work plus $20 for a DVD player since I cant watch Netflix. If my apartment didnt force this wifi on us I wouldve cancelled my contract 6 months ago

It would be challenging as an ISP to flame out more spectacularly than has FRII. A 7 day (so far) internet outage across their entire service area, with no substantive communication or timeframes for reestablishing service. Unfortunately, a company that has failed at its core mission and probably needs to be put to rest as the charred husk it has become.
