Bought a Parasound JC3 Jr. from Don Walker Audio. Couldn't be happier. The Jr. brought my analog front end up to a new level of enjoyment. It was a pleasure working with Don and would do so again in the future.

I have had an exceptionally good time listening to Don's products. He understands the value of enjoying listening, and will help customers listen to the differences in stereo components. I replaced my broken record player with a Pro-ject and I love it. I also got a relatively cheap DAC that made a huge improvement in sound quality. I appreciate his honest opinion, which feels authentic and not tarnished by trying to "sell" to a customer. The equipment he sells sounds great. Nobody in Colorado gives a customer such a good opportunity to HEAR the difference between what you have and what you may want to buy. You are far better off buying here than Best Buy if you love music!Update: I recently purchased a system from Don. After 25 years in the hobby, I have never found a better hifi store, in all ways.

Don Walker Audio provides a service 2nd to none when it comes to your audio needs. I could go on and on about the horrible experiences I've had at the big box stores. Not the case with Don Walker. He is a true expert in his field and his passion is contagious. If you're looking for a friend in the audio business he's your man. It is a pressure free experience when working with Don, and he can provide solutions for every budget and every need. He has gone above and beyond every time I've done business with him, and I often spend hours thinking of things I might need or want just so I can go see him again. I honestly can't say enough good things about Don Walker Audio. Whether you're new to high end audio or are a well seasoned audiophile go see Don, he will open your eyes, and ears, to a whole new realm of music enjoyment.

This kind of 1:1 time and care is what is needed to achieve high end audio rather than picking and choosing from reviews online.

I have enjoyed listening to music (Blues, Rock, Jazz) for many years and wanted to upgrade my system. I contacted Don & Lori as a result of my interest in the Spendor D7 speakers and after two demo sessions with Don I purchased the speakers - these are incredible and highly recommended. A short time later I went back to Don to discuss upgrades on my preamp and power amp and my budget. Don's audio knowledge and recommendations were extremely helpful in my equipment selection: I purchased the Quicksilver Line Stage preamp, Jolida JD-9 II phono preamp and the Parasound A21 power amp which are all excellent and also highly recommend. I can't thank Don enough for sharing his knowledge, recommendations and support - Don and Lori are also highly recommended.

They have an amazing selection of high quality speakers, cables, turntables, DACs, amps, CD players, etc. They were immensely helpful in upgrading my wireless system. Purchased a set of speaker stands from the owner today. He was friendly, accommodating to my sudden request to show up and had a nice selection. We found a pair that worked for my speakers and then proceeded to listen to a couple of the systems he had set up. There were some very intriguing options and if I intend to upgrade my equipment in the future I will keep Fort Collins Audio in mind. While Fort Collins Audio isn't the only hi-fi shop in town, they seem to specialize in midrange options that are closer to my level. Audio Alternative carries a full range of options and more variety but if you like a small, personal shop and a friendly, helpful owner, give FC Audio a visit before making your choice. It's nice to have two shops within miles of each other that are very different.

I originally approached Don for help in upgrading my home theater with a high-quality two-channel system instead of a just ok 5 or 7-channel. The difference was amazing and the cost reasonable for a nice KEF/Parasound system. I am now a repeat customer and have since purchased a subwoofer, speakers for our main music system, and a DAC/streamer. All with great results. Don is highly knowledgeable, personable, and you will definitely enjoy the experience of listening to some great gear and music at Fort Collins Audio!

I was bouncing around from Craigslist to Bestbuy trying to figure out what kind of system to buy. I was considering getting some vintage gear because I like the look but it was nearly impossible to know how it would sound. I also spent time at Bestbuy trying to listen to stereo gear but if you have tried that you would know it's not really a great place for listening. I finally called Don at FCA and went to listen to systems at his home/studio. It was only a minute before I knew where I'd get mine. Don has gear that is far beyond my level, but he has a great assortment of amps, speakers and other gear that I could afford. He configured numerous versions of systems and let me really hear the differences. In the end I got just the sound I love! I'm very happy and recommend FCA with enthusiasm!
