After turning 40 my skin took a steep decline. It became dry, saggy, and just lost any glow it may have once had. I started wearing cover up for the first time in 12 years. This only made my skin worse. At 41yrs young ? I started using Dr. Field's Sacred Skin Ultra-Rich firming Lotion and ditched the cover up. My skin looks and feels great now! This lotion says "ultra-rich" but doesn't feel heavy or greasy. Bonus...it smells amazing!!

Every time I put on my sacred skin lotion I feel like I’m doing myself a kindness. Like eating a healthy delicious meal. No other cream feels this good. It’s so nourishing and I glow from the inside out!

I would say my experience with the providers was positive as they were kind and informed medically speaking. The administration side however is sorely disorganized. Besides other hiccups, I was informed that if I paid $250 for my specialty blood work upfront, I would not be responsible for anything more (side note I have a PPO). Well I received a bill in the mail for a couple hundred more a few months later. When I explained the lack of informed consent, they simply said I had to pay it? And then said maybe they could reduce it? Very disappointing how they have handled this and I would never go back. A friend of mine had a similar experience there regarding miscommunication on bills. If you are looking for a functional medicine team I would keep looking.

I have to say first that finding Healing Gardens was something I was so excited about. For the first time ever I found a doctor who listened to me and didn't dismiss the things I was telling her. I have suffered from things no one could explain, but Dr Kupersmith was wonderful and for the first time I felt like we were making progress towards figuring everything out. Without sending letters to anyone or notifying any of us, they decided to stop taking our insurance because it's an HMO. No warning. No grandfathering anyone in - we're just left hanging. Obviously, dealing with an HMO is not something they wish to do anymore, and that's their choice, but I am left devastated and scrambling to find a new doctor at a new office while I'm dealing with health issues and a ton of anxiety over the whole thing. I feel as though it was handled poorly, and leaving people in an emergency situation having to find a new doctor and start ALL over again is such an awful thing to put someone through. I can't say that I had a bad experience because I loved everything about the place - but what I'm going through right now because they decided to pull the rug out from under HMO insured people is just terrible practice and feel so lacking in compassion.

I've been coming to Healing Gardens for years & everyone providing health services there are the best in this city as far as I'm concerned! Compassionate, holistic and great listeners too :) I was delighted to find my health insurance is accepted with these providers (I'd been paying cash for years) & I will not switch providers unless I move out-of-state.

The women of this practice are fabulous! I have been seen by Drs. Fields and Van Baalen as well as Susan Sanders. All three of them are extremely thorough, taking as much time as necessary to get to know you so that they can answer your questions and provide the best options and advice for you. I have never received this level of total care from any doctor.
