I'll start this review with saying that this trip was in regards to my serious dog, he's 16/17 years old and has been a patient with Aspen Grove since he was a puppy. We also started bringing our other dog there and has been a patient with them for about 6 years. To say my last visit and phone call left a bad taste in my mouth is just scratching the surface. I will no longer be taking my 2nd dog or future pets there and that's based on the female manager I spoke with on the phone. I will never recommend any one go here and this place will never receive another dollar from me. I brought my senior dog In because he had multiple signs that he was in a lot of discomfort and wasn't feeling well. I was emotional as he was having trouble walking and just seemed so off. The vet that helped me (Dr. Lang) went over options but hardly put her expertise forward with helping me know what was the best steps in treating my dog. I was confused and overwhelmed with not getting much help. We did run an x-ray but I left with zero answers and medication for arthritis, which was not one of the reasons I went In. Also a $400 bill. Fast forward my dog is still in extreme discomfort so I take him to an urgent care, 2 days later. They tell me has loose liquid floating in his body, from liver cancer and is terminal. They sent me home with meds to keep him comfortable as he only has a little time left with us. Another $570. As well as the telling us to set up arrangements to say goodbye (estimating about $463) When Aspen Grove calls to check up on my dog I explain my frustrations of paying the amount I did to them when they didn't answer any of the reasons I was there and dropped the ball completely on seeing how sick my dog was, I speak with their manager. She laughed when I told her they weren't trying to make the issue right and she just wanted me to talk the the vet who missed all these issues. They didn't offer to refund our vet visit fee or any part of that huge bill that didn't answer any of our pets issues. Not even a real apology to me! I hung up because I was so upset and no return call or effort to make this right. Never called to check on my dog again while he's sick and after we said goodbye (at the same urgent care place who sends all records to Aspen Grove) no call about that either. I will NEVER recommend this office or take my long time pet back to this establishment. I find this manager to be extremely unprofessional and rude when we were going through such a hard time and a moment I would think our primary vet facility would be the huge support we need and wanting to help us. Take your pets somewhere else, they clearly only care about money.

I don't normally write bad reviews, especially for small businesses, however, this place is AWFUL. We needed a few hours of boarding care for my small dog during my daughter's birthday party. I found Aspen Grove and while booking, they told me it would have to be overnight boarding due to the timing. Of course that costs quite a bit more, but I understood and agreed to this. Since pickup landed on a Sunday, the front desk told me I had 2 options for pickup. 9:30am or 5pm. I was then sent an excessive amount of online forms, I had to sign electronically. Of course I didn't get a chance to read every word since I was in the middle of planning a party and out of town guests visiting us, I trusted what we discussed verbally over the phone. I then got a bill for a 2 night stay. Long story short, they are insisting I must pay for the 2 nights (even though it was 1 day and a few hours, also I told them I could have picked up at 9 if I knew I'd be charged an additional 50+ dollars). Strangely, the "manager" didn't offer any accommodation. She was extremely rude and persistent that I must pay for 2 nights. I plan on filing with the BBB. I would stay far away from a place like this that overcharges and practices unethical and deceptive billing practices.

This morning I was at a busy intersection and saw a frightened kitten get hit. As it scrambled with just its front legs, it appeared that it’s back might have been broken. I grabbed the kitten from out of the intersection and put it in my car. Not knowing what to do with this frightened, injured kitty, I went to Aspen Grove since it was on my way back to work. The staff went above and beyond to help me get this kitten out from under my seat of my car. The care and diligence to their jobs is commendable. They took the kitten in for medical attention without question. What a great team Aspen Grove has !!

I was very disappointed with this company. There were a lot of charges on my bill that I wasn't expecting. We were charged as assessment fee of $19 each for our two dogs, which was not stated in the digital acknowledgement as an extra charge, and we were charged also for bathing one of our dogs who apparently covered himself in p*** while there. This makes me very concerned that he was not taken out in a proper amount of time after eating and was allowed to p*** in his kennel and left there with enough time to get it all over himself. The staff claimed they tried to contact us to talk about it and get it approved, but we have no record of a phone call or an email being sent. Then there's the pickup policy which is absolutely absurd. Although this IS in the contract, requiring a pickup at noon is ridiculous for anyone who works a standard Monday through Friday job. We dropped our dogs off on Monday at 5pm, and picked up on Wednesday at 5pm, and were charged for a full three days. I tried talking with the front desk person about the charges, and also emailing with a manager, and they essentially told me to get bent. I do not recommend using these folks as they try to get you with hidden charges, and are not at all honest about following their own policies.

These guys were so good to me and my dog. They never overcharged me. Never pushed me to spend unnecessary money. My dog was sick with cancer and when it came time to put him down I went to them and they were so kind and loving. They made an unbearable process tolerable. The doctor was with me. The nurses and front staff were so nice and even sent me a card in the mail. I will use them for years to come with my other pets. I have never had a pet clinic be so non-pushy, available, and straight up kind good people. Thank you guys.

We've been looking for a new vet clinic to take our babies. Misha gets real nervous. We took her to Moore Animal Hospital... and that was fine and all but they were expensive and Misha hated going there. We finally found Aspen Grove Vet. We had Dr. ASH and our very own Tech Kat. Misha was still nervous but not nearly as nervous as Moore. Dr ash was very informative and honest. She checked out my baby fluff thoroughly and made sure to be slow and gentle with her. Of course our Tech was professional and sweet to Misha and helped her feel safe. We already have an appt for Ziggy. On to better things!!!!!

I had to take my pet in for an urgent care visit she had a laceration on her ear. They got her in at 4:30 in the afternoon and I knew I would have to pay the extra fees and was fine with that. She had to be put under for the procedure because it was a bad laceration and she did great I picked her up at about 8:15. I received good instructions about the medication's to give to her and so far she is doing great. Dr. Bobby and his crew are always pleasant and do a great job.

I took my cat in payed over 150 for initial visit and a couple medications and was told they needed him to come in again the next day to collect a urine sample they estimated $50 for the next day. well after another prescription and special food it was going to be another 150 and I just didn't have the money so they let me pay 60 and I told them I would pay the rest on either Thursday or Friday and they were ok with that and said patient c

We are visiting Fort Collins for the month and needed to have our dogs seen while here. We got an appointment the same day, were seen promptly, treated and sent home with appropriate meds. Pricing is completely reasonable, as well. The staff could not have been nicer and more gentle with our dogs. What a great experience away from our hometown! Highly recommend these guys!

I brought my dog here today for the first time. We scheduled an appointment to get her nails clipped. I explained prior to the appointment that my dog is nervous with getting her nails clipped and it might take extra hands when dealing with her. I explained we had taken her once before to a vet in Texas and they got it done efficiently with four people and a muzzle (even though she doesn't bite it was for safety precaution) And it was only $13 dollars. SO, today I brought her in of course nervous for her and when the nurse came out my dog raja already started acting very scared and was not wanting to even go inside the office. THAT should have been a clue right then it wouldn't work with them. There was no first initial greeting to make my dog feel comfortable with the nurse. It was very rushed and the nurse immediately dragged my dog into the office while I had to wait outside. Raja came out 15 minutes later panicking!!! So scared and ran into our car. The nurse let us know that it didn't go well and they couldn't finish the job and only got a couple nails. I understood and said it was okay and thanks for trying. The nurse then told me raja was very difficult and even peed all over and was really hard to tame. My dog has never been THAT nervous that she peed herself. She was traumatized. The nurse then told me it won't get done fully unless they put her down on some sort of medication. I understood and drove off. NOW, for not getting the job done I would expect to get half the price of payment for trying but I got UPCHARGED for my dog causing a mess with the pee and having to use more nurses to hold her down.... How does that make any sense? This place traumatized my dog and they didn't even get the job done and then over charged me for the trouble. I really didn't want to pay at all because of the state my dog was in and especially her nails being partially clipped to where it probably is more painful now for her nails. Now I can't go to a vet again because my dog won't be able to after this experience. My dog got it done before and it was fine, yes she was nervous but the staff and environment made her comfortable enough they could do the job. So my question is why couldn't this place do their job? And if they couldn't they could have told me they can't perform this and not charge me at all!

The doctor removed stitches from my dog 2 weeks post emergency surgery The Dr said it was healed. As soon as I got home he started bleeding and I had to bandage my dog to keep him from bleeding all over my house. I called them the next day after I noticed the incision was not healed and it had opened back up. They first told me that they didnt have an appointment available. After I asked if they would cover the costs of going elsewhere, they suddenly were interested and aske

We were so relieved and happy to find Dr Cawthron and Aspen Grove Vet Care. We adopted a wonderfully goofy, extremely anxious hound dog who's heartworm test was positive. We've dealt with heartworms before and they're not to be taken lightly. They're also not very common in Colorado(thankfully). Because of this we were having a hard time finding a vet with enough experience treating heartworms to make us confident and comfortable. And yes, that includes CSU. Then we found Dr Cawthron. Having worked in a heartworm heavy state, his knowledge and experience was exactly what we wanted and needed. We were heartened beyond belief! Now, after his treatment and four month follow up test, our goofy hound dog is heartworm free! It can be a long and stressful treatment, the entire staff at Aspen Grove were incredibly kind and did everything they could to lessen our anxiety and our dogs.
