Dawson's is the real deal! My husband had my engagement ring and wedding band made here and it is superb! My ring has 48 small diamonds in it and I have never lost one, 7 years later! The pricing is also amazing; he taught us so much about diamond quality classifications and when you go to other bug box jewelery stores, you realize they are selling lesser quality diamonds but for a higher price just because their name. 1000% r ecommend Dawson's!

I bought a ring from Dawson’s for my husband for our 20th anniversary. He went above and beyond to make a piece that my husband cherishes. This was not and in-and-out experience, but we ended up with a customized piece that we both LOVE!

Took a diamond cocktail ring to sell. Dawson quoted me $3200. That seemed really low so I took the ring to two other diamond buyers. One quoted me $5200 and the other $6000. Sold it for $6000.

The diamond on my wedding ring had fallen out. I took my ring into Dawson's and picked a new diamond to replace it. I had the ring sized as well. I was thrilled when I picked it up and found that it looked beautiful and the new diamond was secured in with special brackets. He did an absolute great job! I highly recommend Gregg.

FROM YELP REVIEWER SHARON V: "The shop owner is a fairly nice man, but he would not give me any sort of receipt when leaving my antique engagement ring; potentially for several weeks, during the process of creating a wedding band to match it. Absolutely refused. This is an odd and unfortunate policy. I would have loved to have had the ring made here, but could not handle the risk of zero paper trail; not even an order write-up. I took my ring back & moved on. I bounced this "no receipt" policy off of another small, family-owned jewelry shop around the corner & they also found it very disturbing as they routinely write a detailed receipt, including a value estimate, so any piece left is covered under their insurance. I wish this man the best, but I hope he develops some better business practices & customer service." Alright, so even reading this review beforehand I took a chance and called Dawson's Jewelry and made an appointment. Upon arriving and meeting him, Sharon was 100% correct and on point. He is a decently kind man and was on-time as well so props to him! BUTTTTT.... you can't NOT give me a receipt or write-up and expect me to be okay with just leaving my personal and expensive belongings in your possession. I've dealt with plenty of jeweler's throughout my life for repairs and custom pieces. This is super strange! Sharon V. said it best... Mr. Dawson did an amazing job resetting the diamond in my mother's platinum engagement ring from 1930. The setting was quite worn and unstable so he strengthened it without compromising any of the original design and beauty of this very special piece. I am so grateful to him and appreciate his sensitivity and superb craftsmanship!

A few weeks ago I stopped in as the store opened and had a great experience. I appreciated that the service was friendly and knowledgeable, and I didn't feel like I was getting sold at every second. I came in to get a diamond removed from a setting. I assured him I would post about my experience. Better late than never!

Super wonderful Jeweler and owner. He is very knowledgeable and enjoyable to work with. His inventory is just breathtaking. I especially love the antique/vintage fine jewelry. Who doesn't appreciate the fine art of yesteryear. I am planning my return trip to purchase at least one of the many I tried on. The owner is such a patient man. So much to admire in this beautiful quaint store, old and new pieces. The owner/jeweler also does custom work, and repairs. He was a true wealth of knowledge and had answers for my many questions. Go visit the shop please you will be wondering why you haven't stopped in before. Dawson's is a truly genuine and unique shop. Just be prepared to want everything you see. P.S. They have a huge sale going right now, with ridiculous discounts. And no, I was not asked to give my feedback in exchange anything. I am just really to find such a gold mine of beautiful pieces and have such wonderful service. :-)
