Worst ever service - run away from this dealer as fast as you can! I rented a trailer in-town for a move out of state, where I had planned to return the trailer to the Fort Collins location. My towing vehicle died in Virginia and I was forced to return the trailer there and fly home. Every contact with this dealer was painful, and an exercise in futility. They didn't care at all that I was having issues, just that it was inconvenient to them to recover the trailer back to CO. Over the course of four days of trying to resolve the problem, I was quoted four different drop off fees, and at one point they threatened to have me arrested for vehicle theft because I could not return it to the original location. U-Haul customer service was ultimately not able to help but at least they tried and were courteous, and showed some understanding of the circumstances. All in all, after this debacle I will never rent from U-Haul again and I will advise anyone reading this to rent from someone (anyone!) other than this dealer who will evidently look for an opportunity to screw you. I'll be going to Penske from now on. Hopefully I'll see the management of this dealer at their new job greeting shoppers at Walmart someday soon 'cause they are for sure abject failures at running a business.

Heads up they do not do installs on wednesday. They give you ZERO HELP. Management is trash.

Recent change in management created some confusion but Anthony did a great job making sense of the chaos and a fantastic job installing a tow hitch + wiring on my Toyota RAV4. I would definitely recommend this location. While I waited for my hitch to be installed I saw the entire staff working hard to satisfy every customer that walked through the door. Keep up the great work!

This review is for my experience in December. I booked a 4x8 trailer for our activity, but upon arrival we realized we needed something a bit bigger. They had a 6x12 available and switched our reservation to that. The staff was pleasant and helpful. We walked around the trailer and everything was in order. They also helped up purchase the right pin adapter for our hitch so that we are set for future trailer rentals. This worked great for the activity that we had, hauling instruments for college students to perform at an outdoor holiday concert. We arrived back with the trailer 24 hours later and the check-in process was swift and easy. I anticipate we will be back for the same activity in 2023.

If I could give this place or U-Haul a ZERO I would!!!!! They did NOT have the ubox we reserved for a move across country. Oh but I guess even though you "reserve" something with U-Haul with your credit card they don't ACTUALLY RESERVE it for you. It's not a guarantee. And your not supposed to be upset that the plans you've prepared for can't happen and you get screwed. It's a logistic nightmare!! They also hang up on you when you call customer service. This happened to me AND my daughter's friend who did not get the truck he reserved. What a SHAM. I don't understand how a "business" (i use the term lightly) can be run like this. If I were you I would find somewhere else reliable to rent from and don't look back!!!

This review doesn't apply to this store in general because I don't know if the person I talked to is here - sounded like she works from home. I move this weekend and had a truck booked. I get a call 3 days before I'm supposed to leave saying they don't have any trucks until the end of June. I had to start calling other companies and everyone is saying what a joke Uhaul is and they hear this happens all the time. Such a clusterfuck. Use Penske instead.

Have done business here for 5 years and nothing but great! From trucks and trailers; one and two way trips, always accommodated. Thanks to Jeremiah who has been promoted, now Tim and Sam - thank you!

Summary: Poor wiring installation, poor service, don't follow through with promises.Hitch installation was mediocre, but worse, they were HORRIBLE in terms of wasting my time and costing me money. Originally booked to have the hitch installed 5 days before I was helping a friend move with my trailer. The guy called the day of the installation to tell me they didn't get the part and it would take about a week I asked him to get a substitute before the end of the week. He said he'd call me back and I never heard from him. Cost my friend an extra $75 because he had to rent a truck when I couldn't lend my trailer. I finally called U-Haul a week and a half later (twice) because they never called me back, and they got the part.Showed up on time for my appointment. They told me 1.5 to 2 hours for installation. Came back 1.25 hours after dropping it off and watched the guy just driving my car back to the garage to *start* the work. Checked in after 2 hours even though I knew they wouldn't be done. I got the typical "Oh, yeah, should be ready in 30 minutes." All told, it took a few minutes less than 3.5 hours. And this was with me effectively stranded 45 minutes from home on a cold day where walking wasn't especially pleasant.Checking out, the guy who worked on my vehicle had grime caked all over his hands and a bloody knuckle. I get it - dirty job, and that's why I didn't want to do it myself. He told me he'd bring the vehicle around and I was hoping he'd wear gloves, clean his hands, or something. Nope, got out of my car with hands looking exactly the same. Dirt and grime were on the steering wheel, door handle, and door latch, and he hadn't cleaned up well from the job - grime all over the lower entry trim where he'd installed the trailer wire. Poor attention to detail and definitely not the care I'd expect for how much I paid for the installation.Installation looks nice, though I now have a whine in my speakers when the car is in reverse. Don't know if it's something not grounded correctly or something else. I expect to have to waste an extra afternoon to get this fixed since I don't have a local U-Haul hitch installation place.I'm about a year out from the installation, and now I'm going to have to take it back in. The guy who wired it didn't actually secure the wiring from the front of the car to the back in the undercarriage, even with cable ties. He just tucked it in areas of the frame and hoped it would stay. It didn't. I found about six feet of wire loose and touching the ground, dragging under the car.U-Haul isn't cheap, but a number of people have told me they're the best at hitch installation. If this is a good installer, I'd hate to see what worse installation experiences are like.

This company does not stand behind their work. We had them install a hitch and electric connection for our Toyota Sienna. We drove it home and the next morning the battery was dead. They clearly installed it with a short. Now they are telling me to call the national company for roadside assistance. They won't even look at their own work after screwing it up. There is one woman there who is helpful but all of the men I dealt with were rude and unhelpful. It is the definition of bad character to do terrible work and then not stand behind it. These people are the worst do not give them your business. Do not have a trailer hitch installed here they will screw it up and not stand behind their work.Update #1: after putting us off on roadside assistance we were told by roadside assistance that that was incorrect and that we should be dealing with them directly.Update #2: we have AAA and had the car towed to a mechanic we trust as it was blocking our other car. The mechanic said that the new wiring harness had a loose/incorrect connection. Our van is now running. Someone called me back late in the afternoon and when I explained the situation to him he proceeded to argue with me about whether his employees would actually send me to roadside assistance. He denied that it could have been someone in his shop. I offered to give him the Greeley phone number that called us back in the morning. When he continued to argue with me about his own crew's lousy service I ended the conversation.TLDR: do not trust this location with your vehicle.

I had an extraordinarily pleasant interaction with Jeremiah, a very decent human being. Nice guy, big heart.
