It’s astonishing how bad my experience was with these people. They completely “Forgot” to file my taxes last year. I didn’t find out until this year and three months later, still not done. They did somehow manage to blame me for their oversight though. Zero communication and accountability. Do yourself a favor and read through the other reviews. Stay away from Cherry Street Accountants.

We did our taxes through Cherry Street last year and had a bad experience. We left an honest review last year, that was one star but we decided to give it another chance this year as when our taxes were finally completed last year they were good. I called to make an appointment and they gave me a phone appointment the next day, which was great. When Meredith Glover called me for the appointment she immediately told me, I don't want to do your taxes this year because you rated us poorly last year. I could not believe how unprofessional and petty she was. I left an honest review and still came back as a customer because I felt that the company deserved another try. Then this happens? As a business person you should always try to redeem yourself after a loss and she was clearly unprofessional about the entire thing. If I had a bad experience I am going to rate you that way! Doesn't mean I can't give you another chance.

This company had our documents for 2 months without complete info our taxes. Every attempt to get a status we got the run around. “They are almost completed”, “They are in review”. This is highly unprofessional of a company to slack off the way they have. I would not recommend this company to any one.

Meredith is a very savvy, easy to work with accountant. We had a sort of emergent issue, she dropped everything and got the situation figured out, which I'm sure took away time from other things she needed to do. We've worked with other accountants; they talked over our head, Meredith makes the entire tax process and as painless as it can be! I would highly recommend Meredith for any complicated return.

We have very complicated tax returns which I used to do myself, until it got way too complicated for me. Multiple LLC's and K1 partner returns, self employment income and multiple rental properties, are just some of our complexities. Meredith refiled our taxes after one of my mistakes in 2015 and has been doing them ever since. She has given us great advice on how to better handle our accounting and our experience with communication has been very good, she always returns our calls and questions promptly.

I met with Meredith for consultation about starting a business for my family's rental investment property and good accounting practices therein. She was extremely knowledgable, efficient, and helpful in every way. I even called after our session and she answered all my secondary additional questions. Cherry Street gave us exactly the advice that we needed to feel confident in our business choices moving forward. I will go back to them with additional questions in the future!

Delayed review... but I was reminded when she randomly sent a second bill 2 years later for the hassle, mistakes, and unorganized chaos that was our taxes (that should have been easy). Over priced and incorrectly done, if done at all. We are still paying the IRS for her mistakes.... enough said.

They messed up my taxes twice. First time they fixed what I "owed" to the feds. Second time they left me with a $500+ (including penalties) bill due to the state of CO due to their error. Replies from them dwindled to nothing. They are too busy for you. Spend your money and time elsewhere.

This business clearly has difficulty with basic communication, according both to my experience and other reviewers.
My wife and I sought them out because my tax situation was becoming very complex - just completed grad school, beginning a federal stipend, moving overseas, getting married, etc. etc. So I wanted professional advice. So first, we had a detailed, very friendly sit-down with Meredith (the lead CPA) and another employee to lay all of this out for them. We left this meeting feeling great. They claimed that they liked the challenge of figuring out how to navigate everything for us, so we felt great to have them in our corner.
Then came weeks and weeks of radio silence. We never received any answers from them, and seldom a simple email reply. Months later came a generic group email with fee information and what to send in for the upcoming tax season. Of course by that point we already knew not to waste our time with them.
So radio silence was their way of saying "IDK or "I don't want to deal with your case." To the business: fair enough if that's your decision - it's your liberty - but swallow your pride and be upfront with the hopeful customer. You'll ultimately save face by avoiding very unhappy would-be-customers in this age of Yelp and Google.
