Well time to update this review - after maybe 6 years of going to Chappelle I still stand by they are the absolute best. My dog got into something he shouldn’t have and they had him in immediately to get him all checked out. Following morning I thought I noticed a symptom and they got him back in right away. I have continued to see Dr Nelson but Dr Womack has been equally as incredible. Not just during the emergencies but the routine visits too. Gunner and I are forever grateful to have such an amazing team for his care!
Dr Nelson and the entire team at Chappelle are fantastic! My dog has been going to them for 4 years now and they are truly the best. No matter how silly my concern might be they take the time to hear me out and even more time making sure my dog is happy and healthy. I would recommend them to anyone!

Dr. Womack is kindness embodied. I brought my hypervigilant heeler to her and am grateful that her calm energy allowed for a successful exam.

We have a difficult dog that resists vets to the point of being refused for care. Dr. Z worked with us ahead of time to get a sedative that would help calm him. She was able to give him all his shots, exam, and clip his nails. This vet did a great job caring for our anxious boy and making sure he got everything he needed.

Very sad to share that we cannot recommend Chappelle. We've used them for several years and for multiple pets. However, we are in the process of moving to another state and needed to provide care for our pets there, in addition to FoCo during the transition. Regardless of providing all documentation of work performed by the veterinarians in the other state, as well as providing contact information so they could communicate directly, Chappelle refuses to accept the services without warrant or explanation. After multiple discussions it is apparent their first concern is money - not the health and well-being of our pets.

I had to euthanize my old dog recently, and was very surprised when the tech offered to let me do it outside. Everyone was very kind to me, and Mason got to have his last moments lying in the grass on a beautiful evening.

Our dog has been a patient here for 3 years and we’ve always had excellent experiences. There are a lot of vet options in NoCo and we are so happy we found Chappelle. They are attentive, not pushy, and take great care of our dog. I love the walk-in option and don’t mind having to wait as there is a nice outdoor area to hang out.

This place has the best and most caring Veterinarians in Fort Collins. They care more about the pets and owners than they do about the money. I have taken all of my pets here for many years and I would never take them anywhere else.

I used Chappelle once 14 years ago and the experience was very good. When I became a dog owner I had them in mind even though they are a little bit of a longer drive due to some frustrating experiences at another clinic. Dr. Nelson and her tech were very patient with my very large, very anxious rescue dog who was not at all interested in being examined. They devoted themselves to the appointment and made the experience as pleasant as possible for our sweet girl so that hopefully future visits will be easier. Highly recommend this animal hospital and Dr. Nelson.
