My cat and I have had nothing but good experiences with Chappelle since we transferred to the practice 4 years ago. We've seen several vets over the years for regular and urgent care, all of whom have been kind, taken time to explain what is going on and any recommendations they have, and have always offered multiple levels/costs of care when needed to make sure everything works for us financially. The front desk staff are helpful, and it's amazing to be able to call or text for help and have the chance to get same day appointments with no extra fees, and drop in for vaccines. Sometimes there is a long wait/delays, but I'd prefer this if it means that the vet takes their time to ensure your pet is taken care of.

We've been taking our dogs here for several years. All the staff have been super kind and accommodating, especially during Covid- the curbside was so nerve wracking for pet parents but Chappelle has taken great care of our babies.

It's not a hospital, only a vet clinic. After i experienced an emergency with my dog, I phoned Chapelle (they are the closest animal "hospital" to me). First, they had me on hold in the midst of my animal's emergency. After an estimated 5 minute wait, I was able to speak with somebody. Ultimately, I was told they would not see my dog and to find somewhere else. I gave them one star because past experiences have been positive... NOT TODAY!

Thank you Dr.Womack for figuring out why my cat Bonnie was having trouble eating. It turned out she has a large abdominal mass that is connected to her pancreas as well as some in her liver. Bonnie had been to a different vet at the end of September and had lost a small amount of weight and had a UTI. They did an exam and blood work and even though the results weren't normal they told me I had nothing to worry about, and to recheck her weight in November. Her weight was the same so I didn't think anything of it until I noticed her eating weird a few weeks ago and it kept getting worse. She looked like she was continuing to lose weight so I kept thinking something else has to be wrong. The other vet never felt the mass, which I'm pretty sure had to have already been there( but not as large) because her blood work wasn't normal at the time. The mass just wasn't effecting her eating yet. By the time I brought her in to Chappelle it had grown very large. I am hoping we can figure out a treatment plan for my cat as I don't know what I would do without her, but I also don't want her to ever suffer. Everyone there is so kind and helpful, and truly cares about the best options for your pet. I'll continue to bring my pets to Chappelle animal hospital because I trust that they know best

I have always liked Chappelle. They have been amazing to my pets and their customer service is outstanding. The vets are thorough and have helped my pets pull through some scary situations when I thought I was going to lose them.

Chappelle's is the best animal hospital I have ever been to. I have had to visit them three times in the past two weeks. One of my dogs got a sticker that was embedded in her skin and she ended up with a cone of shame and one staple. My dog ripped her staple out and Chappelle's squeezed us in for an emergency appointment and put four more staples in to make sure she didn't rip it open again. Then they called me to check up on her and make sure that everything was looking good. Yesterday, my older dog, who was just shy of 15 years old, woke up unable to move her back legs, again, Chappelle's squeezed us in and was able to see her on an emergency appointment and we all decided it would be best for her to not suffer anymore and to put her down. Chappelle's explained the whole process to me very thoroughly and were very caring and supportive throughout the whole visit. They gave me as much time as I needed and didn't make me feel rushed at any point in the morning. I can not speak highly enough about all the vets (we saw three different vets and their teams) and vet techs and staff members at this amazing hospital. Thank you guys!!!

After moving across the country and being far away from any vet Tucker has ever seen this office was able to see him the same day. Everyone from the front desk to the Doctor were so kind and helpful. I appreciated them listening to my concerns and giving him sedation prior to fixing his split/ cracked nail. They also took the time to clip the rest of his nails, do a full head to toe assessment and anal glad while he was "napping" Right after the reversal of sedation Tucker was back to normal giving kisses. I would recommend this office to anyone! Also the price for everything was way less than what I'd pay in St. Louis or my small hometown

I will NEVER take my dog here again. Before I get into why, I do want to make a point in saying that every visit we had up until today was positive and the actual doctors are great. However, one of the assistant vet techs has ruined that for good. We got out GSD neutered and he was anxious from the start, which is normal. He was resistant to the anesthesia and taking longer to set in than normal, so instead of waiting for it to kick in, one of the vet techs (Lea P) tried to get us to corner him and hold him down to insert the catheter while he was still conscious and panicking. Our dog has gotten along with every employee in that hospital except for her. Keep in mind he's anxious, muzzled, afraid of where he's at, dislikes peoples faces in masks, and fighting off the effects of strong drugs while Lea showed zero sympathy or effort to make him more comfortable. She then decided to walk him to another room to finish the procedure and LAUGHED AT HIM while our dog was terrified of everything that's going on. VERY unprofessional. Later she comes back out to offer her unsolicited opinion on how we should train him, to buy some blinders, and sedate him before his next visit so he is less reactive. Afterwards she vaguely gives us a timeframe for the procedure and should be done in 30-60min. We sat around for 3 hours. Thankfully the actual vet, Dr. Womack, was kind enough to talk with me about what happened and was very sincere. We never saw Lea again as a different assistant brought us our dog back after I talked with Dr Womack. So many previous positive experiences have been ruined by a single employee and single traumatic event. We will now be finding a new vet.

I can't say enough positive things about this clinic and the owner Dr. Suto! They truly care about my dog's well being and go above and beyond in the way the care for him. The techs are well trained, have excellent communication and they have done a miraculous job during covid. Thanks Chappelle, my dog is always so excited when I pull into your office.

Prior to Covid this was a great Vet office, since covid you are rushed or left waiting on-hold for 10+ minutes. BE VERY CAUTIOUS WHEN TAKING YOUR PETS IN FOR ANYTHING. They preform procedures without approval or communication. They rush you in the parking lot to sign things quickly, make you pay over the phone and are never allowed to actually see the Vets. We took our dog in for a teeth cleaning and left with him missing 15 teeth. We were NEVER consulted, no communication ab

We were NEVER consulted, no communication about the possibility of removing teeth. I left with a bloody, greasy messy dog after today's tooth removal. Today 1/3 of my dog's teeth were removed without any kind of call or text or email. This has been the worst Vet experience. We are truly disappointed that Chappell Animal Hospital didn't have the time to reach out about the urgent need to remove 15 teeth. The Vet techs made it sound like some of the teeth were removed due to misalignment, so what that was part of his character and now ALL of his front teeth and underbite are gone. THINK TWICE BEFORE LEAVING YOUR PETS HERE. If I could give zero stars I would. 1 is too many stars. *Update - we got a full refund for the negligence and not communicating with us about our dog. We've also filed a report with DORA who is responsible for the licensing of Vets.

A good clinic however, they charge for every little thing they do e.g., blood pressure in my case. It was merely putting a cuff like device around pet's tail.

My first visit as a new patient couldn't have gone smoother. I called at 7:30 on a Monday morning as a new patient and my Standard Schnauzer was in the office with Dr Lewis at 10 am the same day. Staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable so we will definitely be going back.

Have been a client at Chapelle’s for over 30 years, through one cat and three dogs, all lived to 16 years or more. Wouldn’t think of going anywhere else. Expert care, compassion and expertise. Great small animal hospital-the best in town!

Changing vets during COVID ... super stressful, right? I probably stayed at my old vet for too long, because I just couldn't imagine changing vets while there were 100% curbside protocols. Well, a couple of friends really sang Dr. Suto's praises so I thought I would give Chappelle a try for my dog's last wellness check. It was a little weird, having to do curbside. My dog barked at the tech who came out to pick her up from the car, but he responded with good dog-friendly body language: making himself smaller, turning to the side, not staring at her, giving her a chance to sniff and get to know him. She went in with him willingly, and didn't seem stressed at all when she came back out. Dr. Suto called to let me know how her exam went while I was still in the parking lot waiting for billing to be settled. The office visit was much less expensive than my previous vet, who had recently been bought out by one of those veterinary managed care corporations and promptly implemented hefty fee increases. So, while I don't have a great feel for the practice yet, the visit went so much better than I feared it might go. Chappelle is waaay on the other side of town, but I appreciate that they have regular hours in the evening and on the weekends. Right now with my 100% work from home schedule that doesn't matter that much, but when things get back to normal and I have to schedule around my workday I'm sure that I'll find the extended hours to be rather convenient. So far so good.
