“I have been using the bank of Colorado since 1999. The service and warming energy with the staff across from Grand Junction to Fort Collins, Colorado has been more than excellent. To put words to action , this morning my Jeep died in the banks parking lot. Mr Ryan Gloden , without hesitation helped assist me with a personal battery jumper from his vehicle. The service was above and beyond! Thank you for years of great service.

“I've been with Verus Bank of Commerce, since they opened, and they have been the absolute best bank I've ever had. They have personally contacted me several times over the years to confirm if, it was me who changed my email, etc. They absolutely have the lowest fee for checks returned for non- sufficient funds, and the ladies who work there have been extraordinary. I know there was a gal who work there a year ago, or so who is a bit slow, but she no longer is with them. I would never bank anywhere else!”
“Have been treated very, very well by all staff I've come in contact with beginning in 2014. I've had no complaints or issues of any kind since day 1. I feel those responsible for taking care of my investments have advised me like family on choices and decisions to be made regarding all funds. I'm shocked that others have given 1 star.”

“I just left a 1 star for the Arvada branch for a plethora of reasons, I called to this location and was immediately answer by a banker at the actual store, not the call center that can’t actually help you but Arvada refuses to actually let anyone including the call center directly call in. He was extremely friendly, helpful, and willing to contact and deal with the Arvada location himself due to how absolutely livid I am with them currently and the extreme hassle it was dealing with them. I have gone in person to this location several times they are wonderful and I can be a bit of sour personality dealing with banks.”

“We were indecisive on where to open a joint checking account and decided to stop in here to check it out. The staff was very friendly (shoutout Hite), the place was nice, and everything was straight forward. We walked out with a new account. They also print debit/credit cards on the spot and don't use call centers, so any banking/fraud issues are a quick fix with a "no-hold" local phone call.Definitely recommended!”
“We think Farmer's Bank in Ft. Collins is outstanding. We have been banking with them for years. We are "nobodies" and were new to the area but got a bridge loan for our house there when Wells Fargo just laughed at us. We have also gotten HELOC's from Farmer's. Main guy, Richard, took risks for us more than once to pull us through rough patches. All the employees have been professional and courteous; particularly Adrienne. She always remembers us and is super efficient and helpful in every way. I know there are misunderstandings in every business but I'm not discounting the negative reviews. I'm just saying that that sure has not been our experience. Quite the opposite. If the subject of banks come up we don't hesitate to tell people to go to Farmers (certainly not to that soul-less place, Wells Fargo). Your experience will probably be very positive, just like ours.”

When I had a glitch today with moving money around in a hurry, Gloria, Tiffany and Ty were all really helpful! They could have rolled their eyes about my urgent need & complex issue but instead I felt like they were totally on my team and in it with me til we figured out what could be done to get it all worked out. “Needed to open an account and did not realize that the lobby hours have been shortened due to covid. Not a problem! The staff made an accommodation and allowed me to meet in person to get done what I needed to accomplish today. Extremely courteous, cheerful, fun staff. Very pleasant to work with. And very efficient. I was done and out in minutes. This bank "gets it". Its all about the customer. They are prepared to earn your business. Give Independent Financial an opportunity!”
“I went to the branch in Fort Collins to obtain a check to purchase a car from a private seller. We met in the bank lobby to do the transaction. The teller was very helpful in getting the check the way the seller wanted, printed out a blank bill of sale for us, helped us fill out the title transfer and the security guard helped us remove the old plates! They also photocopied everything for us. Such great service!!”

“I find the midtown elevations branch to make managing money feel better, I travel out of my way to come to this branch. Sebastian and Sarah have helped me personally for years. The new branch manager Harley is very kinda and helpful and Erin helped me print out a bunch of statements to help with tax prep, cannot thank Erin enough for his willingness to attack tax prep as if it were his own!Having my mortgage and all my expenses running through elevations has provided piece of mind despite a rough rollout of transitioning to a 3rd party platform for business banking.”

“My visit with Alexa Campell I at the Fort Collins branch was exceptional! She was very pleasant to work with, and was professional patient and persistent, with my particular needs for this visit. She worked well with the other staff on site and did all her due diligence to get everything taken care of and it was a delight to work with! She deserves a raise and or a nice bonus, because she is an integral team member along with others in this branch! Unfortunately, the Loveland branch no longer exists.”

“Words cannot express how wonderful these people are here at this branch. I would like to take the time to recognize Brandon, Chip and Sabrina. My husband had recently passed away, and we had some issues with our bank accounts. When I went in to the branch to get help, these three individuals showed me the outmost love, respect, patience and understanding. They went as far as helping me sort out all of my bank, accounts and made sure I was getting the right package I needed. Brandon emailed me with steps to take outside of their scope of practice to better help me with my situation I was facing due to my husband‘s death. They gave me their business cards to contact them directly if I ever needed them. When I went in to finish up a few more things Brandon came over to check on me and reassured me that he could always help me if I needed him to. When I went into the branch on another occasion to put in a check, Chip took the time to come over to see how I was doing and reminded me that he was still there if I needed him. And over a week later, Sabrina gave me a call to check in on me and see if there was anything she could do to help. These people are truly great people, and when they say that we are all family, they truly mean it. They are genuine and caring. They are more than just a bank. Thank you to these beautiful people who work here.”

“I have been a longtime member of Ssfcu and have pretty much always been satisfied with the level of service. The Fort Collins branch on swallow is an exception above. Each time I’ve gone in anyone working has been friendly and welcomed me right after I came in. Whomever runs this branch has made some good choice as far as staffing. I don’t remember everyone’s name but Riley, Amy, and Amanda are standouts and I’m happy this is my branch. Keep up the good work!!”
