I’m not sure if all of the negative reviews are from this location being Bank of the West or BMO but I’ve never had an issue. From going in to get a cashier’s check for the downpayment on my house, withdrawing money in person for buying a car and getting a new debit card when I had to close one for fraudulent activity, everyone working there has been polite, helped me in a timely manner and have taken great care of me every time. I’ll continue to return to this location without question.

Worst bank ever. They put a seven day hold on both cashiers checks and payroll checks. Which by Law have to be available. The next day employees are nice and helpful, but are hamstrung by the awful rules. They must go by.

4 Stars is for Brianna W. who, after over 2 weeks of getting nowhere with customer service over the phone, was able to resolve my issue. Not a fan of BMO, but am grateful for Brianna’s help! Thank you so much!!

Not professional. Never apllied welcome promotions, but charged multiple monthly service fees of $25 and $10.

I went to this bank to cash a handwritten check that my employer gave and has been been giving me for the past 2 months so I went to the branch on horsetooth mind you I have cashing my check here for the past couple of months with no problem but not only did I have a horrible experience with the initial employee just because he had been there 2 years and has never seen me in there a duh did you ever think maybe those were your days off when I came unless the bank is supposed to shut down on your off days .....but worst ever experience with the bank branch manager on top of that she is the worst person ever and pretty much told me because I'm black and have a handwritten check since I refuse to open an account they are going to harass me every time I come in there to cash my check...I called corporate offices and they said they would have some call me back within 48 hours that never happened this is the worse experience ever!!!¡

There isn’t enough space here to say how much I dislike this branch of BOTW. It’s the worst. Unprofessional. Not truthful. No follow through. Did I mention unprofessional? Long story short, they lied to me about calling and verifying a check. Unprofessional while I was trying to deposit check. Unprofessional when I called to follow up on check.Thankfully, I called my local branch right away and they had the check verified in a matter of minutes because they did NOT lie to me and actually called and verified the check! Don’t waste your time or money at this branch.

I would give 0 stars if there was an option. Will not go into details in all the lies and unprofessionalism I have dealt with going to the bank of the west branch on horsetooth road in fort collins, co. I have banked with BOW for years now and after dealing with the only branch in town now i am leaving their business. I would fire everyone and shut the branch down. I will now have to drive 25 minutes to another branch to terminate my account because they are so incompetent at the fort collins location. pleasesave yourself some headache and bank elsewhere. The reviews say it all

Seems like every time I go, I’m asked to come back another time. From systems down to they lost my check. I feel like I get better service from my local fast food joint than my local bank… Very disappointing

They just make things up on the spot so they won't have to actually help their customers or do any work. Terrible service. I left empty handed and did my business elsewhere.

Their mobile banking is horribly outdated, constantly undergoing tech support shutdowns, and hardly accurate - keep track of your accounts the old fashioned way if you don't want $35 charge.Their card service is a different support department from their mobile, which is all separate from the actual branch, so it takes forever to figure out you called the wrong number to begin with and they apparently don't talk to each other so good luck if there's an issue or you want to dispute a transaction!They claim the accounts are free, yet constantly bill $10 service charges for no explicable reason.I was supposed to have my accounts closed over a month ago. I cleared my money out of there, bringing my balance to $0.00 yet find out TODAY that they want around $75 for WHO KNOWS WHY.DO NOT BANK HERE.

Bank of the West is the absolutely worst bank. They have no one on the phone to help, they don’t send out debit card replacements on time, and their services frequently stop working without warning nor explanation.They forgot my new debit card. Now I can’t access my money and all my bills have to be repaid- in a week when I finally get the card they didn’t send
