Atlas Meat Co is minutes from my house. Unfortunately I have never had a good experience using them after giving them several chances. I have been given the wrong cuts when splitting beeves and their communication is horrible. Every time I bring issues to their attention I never hear back. Wether it’s missing product or incorrect cuts. Last time I figured I could trust them to process cull sheep for dog food and they couldn't even get that correct. I asked for the entire animal to be ground and I got back chops, ribs and other cuts that I have no use for and I received none of my organ meat. Truly a shame seeing as how there’s a shortage of USDA processors around.

We picked up our half of a steer we purchased from a family ranch we buy from every year and Atlas Meats was responsive, and professional with the processing. The packaging and labeling are perfect, the staff really friendly and helpful, and they made the experience super easy for us. We'll be using them again and we really appreciate the work they did for our family. Thanks and know you have some grateful customers who will be back!

Had a couple lambs processed here. Great packaging, everything is labeled and dated! I like the boxes for carrying the meat out. Nicely done!

Never had any issues and have been picking up about 1 cow/year here. The rancher drops off the cow, I pick it up, clean packaging, never had a problem with quality or being ready timely,cuts always have matched our sheet

We bring in one steer each year to slaughter and butcher. Even though it is only one animal, we are treated professionally, promptly and courteously. The employees are very pleasant and polite Thanks for a great experience and a beautiful freezer full of healthy beef.

This was absolutely the worst possible processing I have been ever had. Breakfast sausage are the size of polish links. Asked for the grind to be made into patties and got some kind of packaged meat, bacon was cut into chunks and wadded up stuffed in a package. I received the most pathetic cut of baby back ribs maybe 3 inches wide. I could understand if this was a runt pig but live weight was well over 350lbs. Roasts where not consistently sized. Cant even stack it in the freeze because the packaging is so awful. Most disappointing processing ever! I guess thats what you get when all the good processors are full. Would have been better off with home processing at least I would known I got the right pig. I will never use Atlas again.

Every package labeled tenderloin steak turned out to be stew meet. Check you meet closely before you leave.Edit. I revived 0 tenderloin streaks. Relabeling would not have changed the fact that someone else got my best cuts of meet. Employees ate good that night.

I see lots of bad reviews talking about they didn't get all the meat they were supposed to get complaining. Maybe you should do some research before you take your animals anywhere to get processed. Don't blame a company when you don't even know the facts. Next time if you want the the full weight of your animals then take the feet, the skins, the head, everything. DO YOUR RESEARCH PEOPLE. Nothing more annoying then people who think they know more than the professionals.

Please be careful when you take your animals to these people! Why ask people if you would like the heads and other trimmings if you are not going to provide them! I honestly feel like they never looked at the processing forms! I will not be taking any more animals here and I hope other people do their research and dont sent their animals here either!

So what's your hygiene policy? Seems a bit strange to let employees wear their muck boots and hair nets out of your facility and into an uncontrolled environment like the McDonald's at Mulberry and I-25. Raises sanitation questions for me, especially now that there is animal blood on the booth seat they were sitting in.

The people here are great! They’re so sweet & helpful. Love the way they package the meat & I also love how nice they keep the place. Very professional and neat, this is the place to go!
