This gym has somehow gotten my bank card number and is charging my account for “fitness” services. I live in the northeast and would have NO need for services in Colorado!!! My bank has been notified…

As another reviewer previously stated, this is the planet fitness of gyms on base. If you don't understand this comment, then don't worry about it because chances are you will like this gym. It's such a tragedy to see so much nice space not getting utilized to its fullest potential. To true-lifters out there new to the base, only come here on your rest days or for cardio. Otherwise, go to the Waller gym while McKibben is closed for renovation. When you walk into this gym for the first time you will laugh and shake your head at how incredibly small this gyms weight room is compared to the size of the gym itself.Three stars are for incompetent layout of this gym and all of the space it is currently wasting.

It’s one of the best army gym I visited. It’s very large, have all the equipment you might need and even have asmall indoor track.

Ivy Fitness Gym on Fort Carson, Colorado five-stars for sure The gym offers all the essential equipment for strength development and fitness your needs. Open space, different sections for different types of workouts. Crowding is usually not a problem. This picture is all I got for now :)

Great facility if you are just trying to get some type of exercise in, however the gym portion could use more equipment.

Large, clean. Two floors of equipment, two courts, and a family room. Pool is almost always closed only when I want to go, lol.

Great gym on base. Not multiples of machines so that's why I give it 4 stars. Lots of cardio machines, free weight section and classes. Locker rooms are clean, big sauna and lots of windows. Running paths outside and also outdoor work out area.

This gym has all that a fit person would need or want, but the free weight area is very small and mostly over crowned. There are many other rooms for cardio, cycling, wall climbing, swimming, kettle bells, basketball, and trx if desired. It gets busy just after 3 or so until close, but it gets the job done. Get there and check it out to see if it fits your style of gym.

It is a bit crowded after work but I think it's even busier in the morning. It's a big gym and nice facility. If you have the ID to get on post it is an excellent choice.

This is a very nice gym! The equipment is well maintained. I use this gym as my daily gym. That I go to at least 4 times a week. If equipment is being used that I would like to use, I usually don't have to wait more than 5 minutes to use it. The flow of traffic there is pretty steady unless you go really early I the morning or late at night.I believe the base as a whole can help to improve the time access to at least one of the gyms on post. There are a few issues they would have to resolve before making this specific gym a 24/7 gym.1. Do you give access to the gym after hours by using an access code or a scanner to scan an idea code for access through the main door.2: Have your 24-hour clients watch a safety video and sign a waiver about after hour access and the specific rules that are in place during after hours.3. Are personnel being monitored when going in and out of the facility to ensure people aren't giving access to individuals who should have access? All personnel have to scan their individual card to get access. If you let someone else in under your access code, they should lose the right to access the gym after hours.4. Are there enough CCTV cameras installed in the facility to ensure all personnel are being recording during after hours to protect all the customers attending the gym?5. Can this facility close/lock up specific areas of the facility so that no one has access to these areas for safety concerns. Such as the pool and locker rooms. You don't need to shower or potentially have areas open that don't have camera access after hours. Cameras should not be in any bathroom, of course. However, during the day, there is naturally a steady flow of traffic in lockers, which deters people from committing violent acts. After hours, there should be an individual bathroom that is accessible not an entire locker room.6. Staff is still present during the day to ensure the cleanliness of the facility.7. Staff doesn't have to be present during holidays, but at least personnel who would like to attend the gym can still have access without needing staff present.8. Will there be enough equipment access during 24-hour operations for people to attend? Enough bikes tread mills weight and so fourth.Other military installations/bases run a 24-hour gym. Why aren't MWR's passing along rule books and regulations to how their operation is ran with other installations/bases?

Good facility overall. It has all the basic equipment you need for a good workout. It hasn't changed much since the last time I was here about 10 years ago.
