Huge commisary. Well stocked. Helpful and Efficient check out staff. One feed back the items displayed behind milk and eggs area was a huge choke point when we were there today (Saturday)

Decent prices and selections- products are usually less expensive than other grocery stores out in town.

Great store. Great prices on certain items. Full service grocery store with deli and a take out sushi bar. You do need military ID to get there. They have people that will take groceries to your car and load them for you.

My opinion, the Ft Carson commissary has a large variety of foods from around the world. The workers are very helpful. Thanks

One of the best comissaries I've ever been to. Incredible selection, fresh veggies, fruits and meats, massive store.

Evangeline has made this shopping trip the worst ever. Please, if you have the time go somewhere else to spend your money.

The base commissary is a mixed bag when it comes to service and product pricing. During my time at Fort Carson until I retired in 2006. Didn't find the commissary any better than grocery stores in the Springs economy. The only perk was no sales tax, but the pricing was about the same as outside grocery stores like Safeway and King Soopers. Since retirement haven't used the base commissary. Since moving to Minnesota in 2019 I really don't miss the commissary, and being Minnesota doesn't have a commissary system doesn't faze me.
On the Air Force reserve base in Minnesota there is an AAFES store with gas pumps and liquor plus beer on the shelves. But, pricing is about the same as in the economy. No big deal except no sales tax.

The food is good, but the service seems lacking in decorum.

Be sure to look at the thermometer before you buy anything out of a cooler or freezer. The temps in some of the coolers and freezers here are very often out of the safe range. There will oftentimes be 4 or more members of management and shift leads just standing around talking for prolonged periods of time while there is a total of 2 chashiers doing everything thay can to make the massive line pass by quickly. I hope management is working toward fixing these issues.
