Broke my 6 year old titanium frames.. cv. Was just down the street. So I tried them. Front desk was friendly .but the woman who took care of my problem seemed to be upset about something. Was not very friendly . Blew that off as a bad day. We all have them .she said they still make my frames . I was happy with that.where supposed to be in on Friday. Got no call. Called them to see if they where in. She didn't know. They where supposed to call me back. Nope. Called them 4 pm. Left massage no return call. Finally sat.morning got a massage they have them. When in Monday 430 pm . The frames didn't fit around the ears at all she couldn't get them to do so so im given some rubber bands to hold them on. Not very comfortable.i wish I had known that I would not have ordered them. The bands are a pain to deal with. . The strange thing the girl talking care of me didn't know if they where titanium frames . Wich worries me if paid for that . Oh well if I not comfortable I will have return them . We'll see.

Used to be great, with experienced doctors and timely visits, but now they have gone down hill unfortunately. My last few visits I have certainly not received the same kind of care

I learned of this clinic because one of the doctors volunteers his time with my son's 5th grade cow eye dissection lesson and has every year. I'm so glad I finally made the switch. This office has the most up to date equipment, offers more testing than other offices I've been to, has such nice staff and very knowledgeable doctors. They have a large selection of frames to choose from but every doctor says they don't care and won't pressure you to go through them. We left with printed copies of our rx to use wherever we'd like.

My 9 year old son had an eye emergency from a football game and Dr. Koditek came in on no notice on a Sunday morning and took great care of him, when my son's own eye doctor wouldn't answer/didn't have an emergency on call dr.
Dr. Koditek is great with kids and l as a parent really appreciated how he didn't cut any corners despite it being his day off, took time to explain everything about the injury, healing process etc to me and went the extra mile overall. He even reached out himself later in the day to make sure my son was able to get his prescription eye drops and was feeling better.
If we lived closer I would make this our permanent family eye doctor! The facility itself is also really beautiful and easy to find. Highly recommend. 10/10

We LOVE Carbon Valley Eye Care. Wonderful doctors who take the time to talk us through the best solutions and explanation on how the eye works. The staff helping with glasses and prescriptions are patient and knowledgeable. Can't say enough wonderful things about Dana who works so hard to understand our insurance and get us the best for our $$.

The first time my husband visited he had a great experience. So much so that we even switched his eye insurance so that he could go back here. However, twice now they have forgotten to order his contacts after his visit. The first time thankfully he still had some contacts to use and we figured it was a one time mistake, but this time he was completely out and was waiting for them and finally he called to check and found out they had forgotten to order them AGAIN! Never going back here again and will never recommend them.

I'm 50 years old and this was my 2nd eye exam ever, so I was still trying to figure out what I didn't know about the whole process. Dr. Kiyota explained everything in great detail and presented me with options that I didn't know I had. She is very nice, personable, and professional. Her assistant was very pleasant to work with also. Sorry, I forgot her name. When it came time to pick glasses, Gabby was awesome. I'm a bit OCD and she was very helpful, kind and patient as I tried to find the best pair for me. The entire experience was pleasantly surprising and I look forward to years of amazing eye care from CVEC.

Dr. Kiyota is the best optometrist! She is knowledgeable, professional and kind. My whole new patient experience at her office was great - thorough exam and newest technology. All the facilities were clean and modern. Highly recommended if you want the best eye care in Colorado!

This is hands down the best Eye glasses experience I've ever had. I had been going to America's Best for most of my adult life because I didn't have Eye insurance, and I can say that you truly get what you pay for. Dr. Berger was incredible! He is so knowledgeable and a great educator. You can yell that he loves what he does and values your imput. I was having a lot of Eye fatigue wearing my glasses and he adjusted my prescription and gave me multiple options to try in the future as well. My Optician Fawn was so lovely and knowledgeable as well. She took the time to help me choose frames and talked about my lifestyle to help me choose the different lense options based on my prescription.
I am so impressed. I had such a great experience and highly recommend to anyone who needs to see an optometrist.

My family and I have been going to Dr. Berger and Dr. Koditek for several years (long before they opened this office in Frederick. I do highly recommend them both however I cannot say the same for the office staff or the lab that makes their lenses. The glasses I purchased were loaded with all the extras (anti-glare, anti-scratch, polycarbonate, photo sun, etc.) however within a year I noticed that the lenses seemed cloudy and no amount of cleaning made it better. I took them to the office and they replaced the lenses under a 2 year warranty. Thought everything was good.Unfortunately when I went back to replace them again for the same issue (called crazing) I was told that they couldn't honor the warranty on the replacement lenses as the warranty only covered the first pair! Worse yet, the woman I spoke with insisted that the only way that this would occur is if I left them in extreme heat which I had not. It didn't matter, she insisted that "everybody does this when they take them off and leave them on the dash" (something that I never do!). It didn't matter, she was convinced that the issue was mine and only due to my leaving them in a high temp environment - couldn't be anything else! Interestingly my record showed these lenses being replaced twice for this issue and somehow I don't have any recollection of that.I suspect that it really is a quality issue with the lab that this office uses as I purchased a different set of glasses from an eye doctor in Firestone (scheduling issue trying to get in with CV Eye Care) and haven't had any issues with crazing of the lenses for that pair. My wife recently took her glasses back to CV Eye Care for the same reason (first time) and they replaced the lenses without any issue (she spoke with someone else). The lack of customer service from this woman and the real possibility that they are using an inferior lab for their lenses makes it clear to me that I should take my business elsewhere.
