“We recently moved to Colorado Springs and a friend recommended Tender Care Veterinarian Center. I called to schedule appointments for our two dogs and they were able to get us in the next day at their new location. They were polite and thorough on the phone. From the time we entered the clinic, to the time we left, I was impressed. We were promptly greeted, the facility was clean, the appointment was thorough and the demeanor of the staff showed they care for animals. There was a slight wait to be seen by the vet, but she apologized upon entering the room. Dr. Stover got down on the floor with our Boxer, discussed plans for both pups, took time to listen, and made recommendations. Taylor (vet assistant) was knowledgeable and went over the recommendations and pricing for recommendations made by Dr. Stover. She also took our pug and walked with her around the clinic, while I tried to collect a sample for our Boxer. Pricing is reasonable and there was no pressure to purchase all the recommendations. I am very particular in who my dogs see after dealing with stage three heart failure, a pace maker, and multiple blockage surgeries on previous pets. We used to drive an hour to have our dogs seen. Having a vet clinic in town that truly cares about our pets’ conditions has helped ease my worry with our relocation to the Springs.”

“Decent experience. 1 thing to be aware of if you have a dog with anxiety is that the hallways are narrow and your dog may come in to contact with another dog.. also the rooms are a little small so bring a muzzle if dog doesnt like new people”

“This is by far the best vet in town and we have tried several! They are not money hungry whatsoever and they truly just do what’s best for the animal. Their pricing is very affordable, the vet always spend so much time explaining stuff and truly is great with humans as well as the animals. The nurse Kim is very knowledgeable and extremely responsive when we have needed anything. Our dogs both have some weird G.I. bug going on and they have been so amazing, allowing us to not even bring them in and just pick up medication when needed!! Highly recommend you switching to Pets first animal Hospital!!!”

“This is my 2nd time going to Polo Springs since I moved back to CO in the summer of 2021. The veterinary was super friendly, & helpful. They made me feel right at home. My 2 male cats did great. They take such good care of them. I also like how they bring my cats to the back in the clinic to work on them. It keeps me calm & I don’t have to watch. Love how they give you a print out of the cost of everything before you get anything done with your pet! Answered all my questions. Recommended what I should do vs what I could wait to do later for my cats! Mine are both 16 years old so this was a general checkup to make sure they are healthy. So glad there is a new injectable monthly pain shot for cats now. Mine has arthritis in his left leg. The cost isn’t cheap but my cats are my children. Super happy they are now open on Saturday’s & late in the evening! very clean, & quit inside. Snacks & water available for humans & animals. They also have a orange cat that roams the clinic. Always feel super confident after leaving that my cats got the best care & affection!! The tech & receptionist were also super nice. Easy to make an appointment & now you can see you cats info on an app.”

Although Dr. Kris is who we usually see, we recently saw Dr. Tibetts when our beloved service dog crossed the rainbow bridge. He was sincere, caring, and very gentle. We have never encountered such a friendly environment from the front desk and support staff to the veterinarians. You won’t regret your decision to go here!”

“This PETCO is pretty massive. They have a groomer which I have not brought my doggo to but should have. Either way, pretty generic pet store chain with plenty of variety. My dog needs limited ingredients food and they have ample choices. Just got a little kitten, too, and picked up the basics.”

“We drove up from Pueblo on a Sunday. We expected a wait because this is not somewhere that you can schedule an appointment. Other pets in more critical condition arrived after us and understandably were seen sooner as they were more of a priority. We were there approximately 3 hours. A little pricey but we expected that as well since this was an emergency. They took great care of our Rocky and we felt that they genuinely cared about our pet. Gave good after care instructions and medication. Thank you for everything!”
