We recently moved to Colorado Springs and a friend recommended Tender Care Veterinarian Center. I called to schedule appointments for our two dogs and they were able to get us in the next day at their new location. They were polite and thorough on the phone. From the time we entered the clinic, to the time we left, I was impressed. We were promptly greeted, the facility was clean, the appointment was thorough and the demeanor of the staff showed they care for animals. There was a slight wait to be seen by the vet, but she apologized upon entering the room. Dr. Stover got down on the floor with our Boxer, discussed plans for both pups, took time to listen, and made recommendations. Taylor (vet assistant) was knowledgeable and went over the recommendations and pricing for recommendations made by Dr. Stover. She also took our pug and walked with her around the clinic, while I tried to collect a sample for our Boxer. Pricing is reasonable and there was no pressure to purchase all the recommendations. I am very particular in who my dogs see after dealing with stage three heart failure, a pace maker, and multiple blockage surgeries on previous pets. We used to drive an hour to have our dogs seen. Having a vet clinic in town that truly cares about our pets’ conditions has helped ease my worry with our relocation to the Springs.

My normal vet is in Colorado Springs, but I’ve had to come to this location twice for urgent care visits. Both times, my dog was treated by Dr. Berman. She was amazing. Kind, compassionate, took time to explain different treatments and options. Even with the 20 minute drive, I’m thinking of making this my primary vet because they’ve done such a great job. Couldn’t recommend enough.

Very beautiful facility and all of the staff were wonderful! The owner, Amy Clark, DVM was attentive and thorough. We were establishing a new vet as we are new to the area. Very pleased to have found them! Highly recommend!

I cannot stress this enough. Do NOT make any appointments online because they will charge you $72 and it is completely nonrefundable! It is now a “credit“ on the account and has to be used at their facility.

After calling our normal vet and a few other places, Tender Care was able to see my cat through their urgent care. I called ahead to see what the wait time was. Everyone I interacted with was so pleasant and nice. They took great care of my cat within an hour. Price was reasonable for urgent care services. Overall great experience. The drive was further than I normally would go, but I was very grateful they could help my sweet kitty.

The only positive I have to say about this vet is that they have friendly staff. My cat was having bladder issues that was causing immense pain and it took the vet 4 separate visits and several months to figure out what was causing it. It turned out to be bladder stone which could have killed him if left untreated. Easily discovered after an x ray which they could have easily done the first time he went in, but they were determined to get a urine sample which they were unable to get from him multiple times.
After his emergency surgery, I had to request the results of the culture they did because even after 10 days they hadn’t called with results. Which they had received already when I asked, but had just never called to tell me.
Do not waste your time or MONEY here, especially if you’re trying to get something diagnosed.
