We opened a small business account at this TBK bank before the July 4th weekend with several fairly large checks. They said we would get a % of the money over the next 10 business days. It has been 6 business days and we have not received a cent; putting our small business in peril. Much of the new staff don't know what they are doing and don't return calls when promised. They are understaffed and under trained. They are closed on Saturdays and their ATM is chronically out of service. We have serious concerns about keeping our small business account at TBK Bank in Fairplay and you should too.

Apparently their motto is "We're the only bank in the county, eff you."Used their ATM, paid the $3 ATM fee and asked at the window if they could break a $20 into $5's."No, if you don't have an account, we're the only bank in the county."Even if I just paid your ATM fee?"No."I guess when you're the only bank in the county friendliness and service - and recognizing people who pay fees to you are also customers - don't matter.

All I wanted to do was cash some of my change in. I was willing to pay a 10% fee on whatever that amount was going to be but the lady sitting at the desk told me I had to have an account at the bank. I was your only customer in there at the time.

0 stars. I saw that I had been charged a $24 service fee. I called and talked to support. The lady was helpful and said back in Nov of 2020 they sent letters stating their checking account changes. I never received this letter and have had the same mailing address for years. They signed me up (without my permission) for the AIM account which requires monthly direct deposits of $4000 or a an account balance over $5000 to waive fees. I have never qualified for this. Today the support agent said I should be on the basic plan which is $1000 direct deposit or ballance of $1500. I can manage that. She transfered me to the Fairplay branch manager by the name of Mona Grillo. Mona said she sent letters to which I replied I never received them. She then replied saying "if I interrupt her then the conversation wouldn't go well for me". I was being polite and I just wanted to get the $24 given back to me as they took it upon themselves to sign me up for an account that would set me up to be charged a monthly fee each month. I asked, "the conversation wouldn't go well for me? " and stated I wouldn't have signed up for that account even If was opening a new account and that maybe with these unfair fees I should bank elsewhere after 6 years of banking with TBK Fairplay. She said "mkay sounds good" and hung up on me after 50 minutes of being transferred around. Over $24. Mona, you are a disgrace and my 3 year old son has more compassion that you. You deserve to be fired. And shame on the reginal manager for ignoring my plea for help with this unprofessional branch manager you have employed. I can't wait to show up tomorrow and rip my funds out of this bank and close the account. I have 15 or more friends and employees who bank here as well who will be closing their accounts along with me after hearing how disgraceful and unprofessional the management is.. Hopefully after your location loses tens of thousands of dollars from closed accounts they'll start treating the locals with more respect.

Shouldn't even be a 1 star. I have been depositing checks over $1000 and now I am only allowed $500 on mobile deposit. Which makes the app trash and useless. Quit messing with people's accounts without their permission. So Illegal.
