I would not recommend this company for a service or protection champion. They also have a facility in Florida and might be good for domestic training of a household pet.

After reading all the positive reviews wanted my 4 mo. GSD to get a good start with training. The majority of reviews are from the owner Paul, I got an inexperienced trainer Annie who didn't train my puppy the basics, didn't complete all lessons paid for. Tried contacting owner both by phone & email requesting refund... no response. Filing formal complaint with State & BBB

Do your homework, most good reviews are from owner training & written yrs ago. I contacted mtncanine to get my 4 mo old GSD for training, they sent an inexperienced non qualified/ certified trainer (Annie) who couldn't train the basics, failed to complete the 8 weeks contracted for. Reached out to owner Paul by phone & email to get resolution or refund, no response. Please don't be fooled make sure any dog trainer has the qualifications/certification to train your pet correctly.

Annie is a great dog trainer. She did a great job with our adopted shelter dog. Can't recommend her highly enough.

Best dog trainers, ever! No one else compares! Trained our prior Australian Shepherd and our current Aussie is about to graduate from their training program to be a responsible canine citizen.

Awesome experience. Wish we did it sooner! We had rescued a blue heeler and he had been living with us for about three months prior to contacting Mountain Canine College. We were pretty much at our wits end with our new dog as he was petrified of everything including us. He was also a "runner" and would be gone for days if he got off the leash or out of the house. Dianne worked with him (and us) over the eight week obedience classes. Even after six sessions (weeks) it wasn't clear that he was really learning or getting what we expected of it. But Dianne confirmed the process and what to expect from him and after completing all eight weeks he was a completely different dog. His change in behavior was remarkable. It was also a huge learning process for us to properly train a high energy (and rebellious) dog. His confidence level now has soared and his training essentially removed all frustrations we were having with him. Now, our blue heeler is completely off-the-leash. He is obedient and happy with us. In almost every situation that we go to, he is the best behaved dog around. It is a joy to have him now everywhere we go, and it is not a worry on how he will behave in public or crowded situations. I would recommend Mountain Canine College as early as possible as it is truly great to have such a well trained, obedient, and loving companion that doesn't give any frustration.

Mountain Canine College did an amazing job training not just our dog, but our family as handlers too. ****** methods are safe, true, and proven as he is truly a master trainer as he thoroughly understands Canine behavior. **** and his trainers gave us the training that we had so desperately needed to turn our dog around. We had been through several trainers prior to **** with no success. We are very thankful to Mountain Canine College for the training that will last a lifetime.

We started training with Diane when my fluffy poodle mix puppy was 4 months old. When we started, she could barely walk on a leash and after 8 quick weeks, she is amazing — she now has manners, walks great on a leash and most importantly, she knows what to do off leash. I am so very happy with her training classes and encourage you to check in with Diane to see if she has room in her schedule to help you with your dog training needs!

I have a very independent and stubborn Siberian Husky...enough said. I worked with Paul and Dianne and they are both amazing. They were patient and innovative when the traditional training methods weren't quite enough for Maverick! I sure appreciate the extra time and effort they took for us and highly recommend them!

We just finished the 8 week course with our dog Huckleberry and it was well worth it! He's always been loyal but stubborn, and couldn't be motivated by strictly positive reinforcement or treat based training. He's gained a whole new level of confidence and is now able to obey in off-leash situations that previously could have been dangerous (with cars near a road or wild animals on a trail). Diane was an excellent trainer and her love for the dogs is very apparent. Some people may think that their correction based training is mean, but we found that it just gave us a clear means of communication with our pup and he rarely needed corrections after learning what was expected of him. If your dog seems untrainable or too stubborn to learn, this technique will work!

We have had nothing but great experiences with The Mountain Canine College. We just finished obedience training with one of our dogs and have just begun another round of training with our second. Olivia is the trainer we have used and has been amazing with our dogs. She understands each dog personality and quirks so each training session really sticks with them. Anyone in the evergreen or front range area in need of dog training should look no further than the Mountain Canine College.

Love the trainers! From the first phone call with Paul, I knew this was the place for Mystic to be trained. Diane was the main handler for Mystic and was amazing. Diane is clear, firm and kind. You I could see the love and respect Mystic and her had for each other. I was experiencing dominance issues as Mystic can be strong willed. She wasnt listening and it was quite frustrating. Well after 30 days with Diane, Mystic actually listens. She will actually stay in the down position even when one of her favorite people is approaching,. I can even eat dinner with her in the room in peace. Mystic and I are in Harmony as never before. I cant thank you Paul and Diane enough for training Mystic for our happy home.
