Our daughter's love of school is fostered by a safe and inclusive school community, outstanding teachers, and small class sizes that provide individualized learning. She is thriving and happy; we could not ask for more!

My family has been at ECDS for five years and we still pinch ourselves. We feel so lucky to be a part of such a wonderful school community. My daughters especially love all of the special area classes that are offered on a daily basis, such as Art, Music, STEM, Computer Science, Library, Tinker Lab, PE, and Spanish.I have never taught in a happier school. The teachers have flexibility to tailor the curriculum to the needs of their students and can make learning fun by adding creativity to their lessons. The class sizes are small and the teachers are able to give each student the personalized attention that they need. The parents, faculty, and staff are all supportive, happy, and work together as a team. It is truly an amazing place to work.If you haven’t had a chance to visit ECDS, I highly recommend that you take the time to see the magic for yourself.

At a time when many independent schools in the Denver and the surrounding area have waitlists or full enrollment, students and teachers are leaving Evergreen Country Day School in alarming numbers. With a new Headmaster at the helm, providing a solid education has completely lost focus. Proclaiming the school as ‘magical’ and a small community is simply a PR campaign designed to mask the truth— that students and parents are unhappy with the new direction of the school. Highly experienced teachers are leaving and being replaced with younger and less experienced teachers, and previously good courses are being overhauled with less demanding replacements. Most of all, the school lacks a clear educational mission/purpose. This school used to be an emerging educational gem; it’s now withering on the vine.Overall student and parent satisfaction in the middle school is non existent (with entire grades consisting of fewer than 15 student total). At some point, I hope the Board will recognize that dwindling classroom numbers reflects overall satisfaction. There are plenty of good schools in the Evergreen and Denver area.... Evergreen Country Day School just isn’t one of them.

Great school! Impressed with how innovative and creative the curriculum is. I have been a part of the school as both a parent and a teacher of 17 years.

Evergreen Country Day School is the best school I have ever taught at. our principal is incredible, our administration is so supportive in every area, our academic curriculum is excellent and I love it. I got involved in our new 'Journeys' Program which involves getting every child on a trail, going on outdoor ed' trips, learning about the environment and the local wilderness areas. I am particularly proud to be part of a school with huge ambition to be the best independent school in the Denver area. I believe we already are. One happy teacher :-)

Evergreen Country Day School is amazing. My daughter's experience in the preschool class is top-notch. I love the care, creativity, and flexibility that the teachers are committed to providing. The absolute best part about the school is the culture. It is kind and compassionate. What a terrific place to drop off my child each morning!

I feel so fortunate to be a part of the Evergreen Country Day School community. I love our computer science program, reader-writer English program, student-led Ted Talks, community-wide town meetings, and kindness tree. While our programs and facilities are incredible, it is the people who make our school so special. Our faculty are second to none and our families partner with us in inspiring ways. I am especially proud that our school is passionately committed to serving students from across the socioeconomic spectrum. It is a joy to serve this school and one of the greatest gifts of my life.

I have two girls that are thriving in the environment at Evergreen Country Day. Their small class sizes allow for teachers to truly differentiate to their individual learning needs. The wide variety of programs that nurture the whole child throughout the week are phenomenal- from Spanish to computer science, our climbing wall to an outdoor journeys program. They are challenged yet nurtured daily. Teachers truly adore them and care for their well being. Kindness is nurtured throughout the school, and truly gives our community a different feeling. There is so much positive to say about how both my girls are growing and learning, and feel valued in our Evergreen Country Day community.
