We pick them because of their lower prices. But we were charged 71 days after we called to cancel. Any money we saved we lost. We have moved all around the US both in the military and as civilians and have never had someone try harder to find ways to cheat you out of money. It's sad that places like this exist.

If I could I would give this place 0 stars. they are rude there is never anyone in the office we moved out of our storage after giving them a 30 day notice. They tried to charge my card for the rent which went up from 160 to 310 after a year which we were also unaware of. They do not have good communication skills or the courtesy to let their customers know about any changes. I went in today to close the account and do the walk through and the person there refused to do the walk through. I have never had these kinds of issues with any of the other storage places I have rented from. very bad business.

I’ll echo what everyone else has said. DO NOT rent here. We have had an empty unit there for 30+ days, gave notice 3 months ago, and did the final walk. Today we were charged for another month because he “doesn’t prorate months”? That doesn’t make sense, the unit has been empty, I’m not paying for another month of an empty unit. Disputing with the bank. The practices of this company are so shady.

DO NOT RENT HERE . Owner is a total jerk. This guys list of rules are longer than his list of complaints from customers. If he can't find a reason to fine you he was will make something up.. Nobody gets away without him getting into your pocket. Renter Beware.!!!!!

Do Not Rent Theses Units!!! The owner is a very disrespectful unprofessional jerk!! He will scream and hang up on you!! He will do anything he can just to keep getting more money!! He won’t let me out the month to month contract until I paid him another month for a unit that I have not been using since October!!

I can't believe there's not one review for this place the manager is disrespectful and throws your past in your face I don't know how one month behind makes us owe ****+. They over charge for there units and add extra fees every chance he gets you can't get in after 7:00 p.m. and God forbid if you throw a bag out of the in the trash and then you take it back out he still charges you $150 and locks you out and then expect you to still pay it's ridiculous yeah it's convenient because there's a light in the storage unit but what he's charging and the way that he acts is not worth it I'm losing my stuff because of him and stuff that's very sentimental to me don't rent at this place he'll s**** you every chance he gets tells you that you after you're like 2 months late that he's auctioning off your stuff and that there's no chance you can get it back he doesn't work with you on payments and then you get a message 6 months later telling you that this is the last chance you get to save your stuff he's so full of it why did he tell us that it was no longer there but then still there and still try to charge us and then sell it at an auction and then turn around and take us to collections to still pay the amount how does that work crooked I'm currently looking for a lawyer if any of you other people would like to go in on it with me for a class action lawsuit against this fool

Worst storage place we have ever dealt with. Always adding on extra charges and continued to charge us monthly when the unit has been empty. Horrible customer service. Would give a 0 if we could.

The owner of this place is a very nice and kind man. Had to come here because Uhaul mess up my reservation for a dolly at the location they sent me. Had issues with Uhaul's system, nothing to do with him. He helped me out big time with little notice. Appreciate that guy so much!!!!!! Thank you!!!

We have been customers of K & K since 2016 and NEVER had a problem. Payments were set up to be automatic and had no issues.....UNTIL the New Owners took over. Had a call last month that we needed to get in and pay our bill because it was due. I called and talked to a young man to see what the problem was because for the last 7 years it has been on monthly auto pay and all he could do was yell at me saying that I had no money in my account so I needed to come and sign a paper. I explained that there was money in the account and that 1 of the two units was showing up on our checking account as pending so I wasn't sure why the other one wasn't. He just kept telling me that I had to come up there and sign a form right away and wouldn't let me talk. After our phone call I checked the bank account and found the the other unit's payment had dropped and was marked pending as well. HMMMMM. SO, we decided to move out of that unit that day but kept the other one until we could move those items to another facility. Fast forward to today...Got a call that we needed to come pay for the unit we had cancelled and moved out of. The other unit was pending on our checking account so I knew it was taken care of. I went up to the office and was told that we had to sign a form for it to be cancelled. I asked for the form and he told me that I would have to pay another month to get the form. We were not notified of any policy changes so I asked if we could talk to the owner/manager. Was told no and that the camera's were on with audio and that we were threatening him and to get out. BEWARE of their shady business practices. Looked the property owner up on Weld County Property search. SHAM SHAM SHAM - Only reason there is 1 star is because you can't submit unless at least 1 is chosen.

!!HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Was charged an extra month without notice when I was leaving that storage unit, went into their main office and asked for any contract I had with them but was told I couldn't get a copy of ANY paperwork, was even told I couldn't speak to any manager or higher up and I needed to get off their property. After these new owners took over this storage place has some shady ways of trapping people and make money off of them, WOULD HIGHLY SAY NOOOOO TO THIS PLACE!!

Posted on the U-Haul Page as well. Here with an update - they DID double charge the card mentioned in the original review. Egregious. If Zero was a recommendation - they have definitely earned it. The fraud department of my bank is handling this now.----The reservation I placed, through a phone call with U-Haul directly, was magically cancelled upon arrival and not by me. The attendant could see the original reservation (because I had a reservation # and confirmation email) and there were pick up location specific comments added to it. They had to make a "new reservation" on-site and the amount I was quoted almost doubled. Criminal. Needed the vehicle for less than 2 hours and it took 30 minutes to get the actual vehicle. The exterior of the vehicle was muddy. The interior was dusty. The attendant asked for my phone number three times, made me read out loud my credit card number, handed me one sheet of a three page contract, didn't provide a copy or a receipt, and was genuinely one of the worst employees I've dealt with in a very, very long time. I will definitely not be recommending this location to anyone (and if my information is compromised best believe there will be consequences) but genuine disappointment with U-Haul stands as well. The first reservation I attempted to place through the website, I called the location to confirm and they didn't have the vehicle at all and wouldn't have anything even available at all for four days. That company was the one that told me to call U-Haul directly to place the reservation that magically disappeared. Ridiculous. Never again.
