We used to talk to these same people at the Warming House and they are wonderful people passionate about the trail.

My brothers and I just finished a 4-day hike with Footpaths of the World. I cannot recommend Phoebe and her team enough! It was a wonderful experience. Each day presented a unique and challenging, but not too difficult, experience. The views were spectacular and the hospitality welcoming. Thank you Phoebe and Penny, great trip with many lasting memories!

A series of curated hikes chosen for variety, beauty and lack of crowds. They offer shuttle service, expert advice and packed lunches. Well worth it for hikers who prefer ending the day with a restaurant meal and a comfy bed. Tina's enthusiasm and ultra-friendly service was icing on the cake.

They had a lot of handmade status outside that were nice. I would have bought some if I wasn’t flying.

Been on both my trips to RMNP. The owner was very helpful, and the prices are very reasonable. I heard she was retiring, hoped someone buys her out to keep it open!

Best place to Rent/Buy hiking gears. They rent it for pretty cheap. They also have a facility to drop off rented items at a box behind the shop if the shop is closed.Very good customer service.

Repeat customer, I prefer it over the big mountain shop. Closest shop to RMNP entrance for winter gear rental if needed

Dave and Phoebe have the greatest outfitting store in Estes Park - right at the entrances to both the YMCA of the Rockies and Rocky Mountain National Park.We did a phenomenal four day Inn-To-Inn hiking vacation that they arranged for us. They have a variety of trails to chose from that will fit any hikers skill level. We both purchased hiking boots from them and several years later agree they were the best fitted boots ever to suit our needs and comfort. Stop in and say hello, the whole staff is great!

Just did the Alsace France hiking Inn to Inn and it was fabulous and very reasonably priced. It is an incredibly gorgeous area with fantastic inns, food, and wine. Plan a few days in Colmar before or after your trip because that is the wonderful meet up city for this experience. Thank you Phoebe and Tina

Great store with all the necessities. Owner, Dave, took the extra time to make sure I got the properly fitted boots. And both his knowledge and stories about hiking is very helpful and entertaining. When I drive the 4+hrs to RMNP, a stop at the Warming house is always included in the plans.
