really disappointed they rarely have vegetable rolls in their sushi section. for someone who can't eat fish, it's really frustrating having to dig through and find ONE vegetable roll. everything else is completely stocked! if they go through them so fast, maybe they should prepare and make more!

The store was pretty clean. We were there on a Sunday and some of the shelves were empty. The bottled water was almost all gone. I spoke to about seven different employees and found all to be very nice. Pricing was a bit of a shock compared to home in Texas. I credit part of that to this being a tourist town. Plan to spend about 20-25 percent over your price at an HEB in Texas.

Terrible Safeway. They should shut it down and put in a Sprouts. Low and out of stock on many things. How do they continue to stay in business? The Safeway employees, especially the checkers, are incredibly rude. The food in the deli and bakery is disgusting. It's never fresh and is sometimes inedible.

I know this place is very busy in summer. I placed order a week ahead. We flew in and they kept delaying order. They texted me at 8.51 pm saying it was ready. I went to store immediately and pickup closed. Chat wasn't helpful. Manager at store couldn't find order. Finally found it and it was in two separate places. Waited 40 minutes and still didn't get all items. Person working said sorry but she didn't know what to do. Called next day to say I was missing about 80.00 of items. Manager will call you back. No one did. Go online and can only report issue if 48 hours. Well we were hoping local store would help. They didn't. So we can't get our money or help. Then today they send email saying sorry with a 5.00 coupon. Just go somewhere else before you get in town. Not worth it.

The sushi this year has horrible customer service. The only options have a mayo sauce all over them. They no longer will make a custom order like they did last year. They were rude when I asked, and was told I am the only one who doesn't like it that way. Watched the sushi display today, and saw a number of people search through the selections and walk away for the same reason.

We visit Estes about once a year. This time we visited Safeway because we needed some essentials. I was surprised by how unfriendly the workers were in this store. Both times we visited I asked for help and I was snapped at. Not one worker smiled, said hello or was even nice. The atmosphere in there is tense. I’ll stay away from this store when we visit Estes.

For prices and quantity this store is pretty good. For service from manager is pretty poor. A manager was very rude. She needs some serious management classes or an attitude adjustment.

We’ve shopped at Safeway many times while on vacation and the checkout person always gives us the member price. That didn’t happen at this Safeway in Estes Park
