Bill Blackwell is a legend. I took my car there after the dealership gave me a skyrocketing quote for fixing 6-7 problems. Bill assured me that the dealership was “blowing smoke up my behind”. 2000 miles from home on a cross-country roadtrip and due to leave Estes Park the next morning, Bill truly saved us when our brakes started presenting a very concerning grinding sound. Given our urgency, he managed to diagnose the problem, source the right parts, and expedite the work to get us back on the road on schedule. Eternally grateful!

Bill was wonderful! We were about to leave town and a radiator hose busted, and he was able to help us over night even though he already had many vehicles ahead of us. He also didn't over charge us and did a great job.

This is a one man shop. Bill is friendly, a good mechanic but quite busy. You will be treated fairly, but there are definite limits as to what one man can do.

We come up to Estes Park yearly for a family trip, and this year my father’s check engine light came on in his truck while we were in town. I called Bill to see if my dad could get his truck in for a check engine diagnostic, and not only was he friendly and professional but he had everything good to go in less than 24 hours! Couldn't figure out the problem even with "23 years of experience". Changed my brakes for no reason, I guess just to provide me with the illusion of progress. Did the same thing to my girlfriend who had perfect brakes. Charged me $100/day just to keep my car on his lot while he fixes the other 30 cars on his lot. It was the fuse box btw.
