New Horizon Academy has been great for my infant daughter! She loves her morning teacher, Ms Stephanie, and is always excited to go to daycare (something I wasn’t sure was possible). Ms Stephanie does a fantastic job giving her fun things to do and explore. We love that we get lots of wonderful picture updates! In the afternoon, Ms Marie does an amazing job managing the pickup chaos and afternoon meltdowns. She is always a calming presence and has great insight into what my daughter has been up to today. All of the staff here have been fantastic and we have been thrilled with our experience so far.

We’ve had such a wonderful experience with NHA. Our son is so clearly loved and cared for, and even learning new skills and participating in crafts as an infant! All of the teachers who have helped with our son are exceptional, but I want to shout out the infant B teachers Ms. Salma and Ms. Marie in particular! Thank you all :)

Our experience at New Horizon has been nothing short of amazing. Ms. Izzy, Ms. Jasmine, and all the wonderful staff here have created a loving and supportive environment for our one year old to thrive in. Their patience, warmth, and expertise have played a pivotal role in our son’s growth and development. I highly recommend New Horizon for parents seeking a nurturing and enriching experience for their little ones.

We’ve been loving our experience with New Horizon Academy - Erie! Our infant daughter is thriving because of her classroom teachers. Steph, Amber, Rinchen and other classroom staff truly treat Phoebe like family. They also have the best art and sensory activities. When I show family/friends pictures from Phoebe’s day, I constantly they constantly say “OMG I love that they let the infants do art themselves instead of doing it for them!” Or “I can see why you chose this center.”Communication has been very easy and quick (especially since they use the procare app). Their menu is also great. I love the variety and great nutritious foods they offer.Shoutout to Katelyn and Nicole for leading a wonderful center. We’re excited for Phoebe to continue her time at NHA.

The only reason we put New Horizons Academy as our first choice for UPK was because of Miss Jocelyn. Can someone tell us where she went? The kids love Miss Jocelyn.

I am an occupational therapist that goes into many daycares to work with kids. I have been in Miss Kristen's room at New Horizons for about a year now. I have rarely seen a teacher so active and engaged with her students. She floods them with vivid language, has a schedule, provides fun activities, and meets their unique emotional needs. I wish she could be duplicated across all classrooms and daycares everywhere.

Our baby and 3 year old have been going to New Horizon for a couple months now and we have been really impressed with the quality of care. Having come from another daycare, I’ve really valued the focus on play, frequency of communication, and quality of food at NH. Our toddler even started asking for broccoli at home! It seems like everyone at NH knows both our children by name and is very friendly and engaged - thank you, New Horizon, for making us feel so welcome!

I strongly do not recommend working at or having your child enrolled at New Horizon Academy. They do not value their employees and they do not care about the well-being of your child. As a former employee, I would never get bathroom breaks and I would never know when I would go home even after my 10 hour shift with a 25 minute break. The management leaves before their hardworking staff. They could care less that your child is sick and needs to be sent home. I would notify management that a child is sick and needs to be sent home to follow sick policy and they lied to my face saying they called the parents to come pick up. The whole day would go by and the child would still be in care. I would ask the parents if they received a phone call and they always told me no. This also occurred with injuries and specifically head injuries and parents were never notified even with a possible concussion. After I resigned, several families left the center because they only trusted me and my care that I provided for them. After a month, I got a letter from a lawyer saying that New Horizons Academy was attempting to sue me. Several families that left also received the suing letter. I am and I was an amazing teacher and when I left they got upset of what they lost and tried to pursue legal action because they lost money from me not working there. As a teacher or as a parent I would stay far away from this horrible center.

My son started at New Horizons when he was just 3 1/2 months old and now he is almost a year. The teachers in the infant room are fantastic! They somehow balance the needs of the little ones while helping them grow motor, language and social skills. Griffin is love and nurtured as if he was one other their own.He is given time to explore and create. They were instrumental in giving him the necessary tummy time and now smile as he pushes the chairs around the room. The teachers made the transition to solid foods safe and exciting. I always look forward to pics of that days learning activity.I am truly grateful every time that I drop off my son that he has Ms. Stephanie and Ms. Amber to care for him. The entire family of teachers and directors at New Horizons do a wonderful job of taking excellent care of our precious little ones. It really feels like an extended family. Thank you to each everyone. Your hard work is truly valued!

We’ve been with NHA for 2 months now and there are many things going right. The teachers seem engaged with the kids and are energetic, patient and caring. They take the effort to do lots of fun and varied activities each day. I love that they have different areas of focus each month to learn about. All of the kids in the class seem very happy at drop off/pick up and when I’ve stopped by. The facility itself is so nice with spacious classrooms and indoor/outdoor play areas so kids can get exercise in all seasons. I’ve felt able to communicate with the teachers and directors easily. I like that they have different nutritious foods on the menu each day. Overall, I’m happy with NHA and my little one is blossoming there so far.

Our daughter has been at New Horizon since she was 5 months old. It was a tough transition for me as her mama, but our daughter’s transition into daycare at NH couldn’t have been any smoother. Our little girl is now one and she still loves going to daycare. She’s always happy to see her teachers, especially Ms.Steph as well as all of her little buddies. Our daughter will be joining a new classroom in the coming months as she learns to walk. We will miss Ms. Steph SO much. She takes care of our baby girl like she was her own. Our daughter loves Ms. Steph equally as much, and that’s a sentiment to how great of care she takes of our munchkin. Ms. Katelyn was recently introduced as the new director and she has been great too! Like most parents, our daughter is my whole world so I would only trust the best with her. I whole heartedly recommend Ms. Steph, Ms. Katelyn, and the NH team that I’ve encountered thus far.

We came from another well-known daycare, and let me tell you there is a world of difference at NHA. Everyone here from management to their teachers have been fantastic! They all care about our little guy even if they are not his direct teachers. There has been great communication and transparency about what happens on a daily basis with our little one, we are sent updates, photos as well as messages if anything comes up throughout the day.Since we have been here for over 8 months, our toddler is thriving and loving it. I have recommended NHA to all of my patients and parents who are looking for childcare.

Katelyn and Nicole do an amazing job keeping everything running and communicating any changes/updates to us parents. We love the infant, 2yo, and preschool teachers and have had great interactions with other “float” teachers as well. Our youngest started in the infant room at 5 months and the teachers have done such a wonderful job taking care of the littlest littles and working through any issues (sleeping in the classroom, reflux, etc) and communicating ideas and observations. They worked closely with us when it came time to introduce “real” food and we were so happy that it wasn’t just purées — they offer them a safe variety of flavors and textures. Our toddler has aged up through 3 classrooms and all the teachers have been attentive, caring, fun, and thoughtful. Each one has really gone above and beyond and we are constantly impressed with not just the creative activities but also their patience and ability to make every day special for the kids. Both our kids are happy to see their teachers and we love receiving the updates and photos throughout the day of them playing and learning. The school has a fabulous large indoor gym which is great for running around when they can’t get outside due to bad weather, and it’s nice to know they can run around even when it’s freezing out.Stephanie, Amber, Sharah, Crystal, Kristen, Jocelyn, Ashley, Rinchi — and everyone else, thank you for making our kiddos feel so special and taking such great care of them every day!
