Nancy was so helpful and answered all my questions. I purchased the 770 QE plus Kaffe model. It is so pretty and has everything I could want for sewing and embroidery. Nancy showed me threading and bobbin and signed me up for the classes. I am so excited to start sewing. The store was awesome and I really enjoyed my experience shopping there.

Purchased hoop, found out charged $55. More then on Amazon. Bobbins 8 for$ 22.50 , Amazon$ 9. For $10. Will not shop there again. The items were Bernina. Not knock offs.

Bernina Hotness Kaffe machines! They have all the new gadgets! Nancy is super knowledgeable and kind. They will hold your hand if you are new to sewing along with detailed tutorials for all ages.They can show an old dog a new trick with hip devices to wow your crafting habits. They do have some fabrics and many notions and tools to add to your stash! The shop is clean and organized with several sewing stations. They even have a long arm machine for top stitching a king quilt.I always stop here for needles and nice conversation. Santa baby just put any of these goodies under the tree for me!

Nancy listened to my needs, jumped right in, and helped me make a great decision on purchasing a new Bernina sewing and embroidery machine. Then, as she promised, was available by phone for a few questions and then in person when I came back with a few more. The result was better than I had imagined - a new Christmas tree skirt designed in collaboration with my granddaughters and a pillow for my sister-in-law, a dog-walker.

Nancy was super helpful when I went to look at Bernina machines. I am fairly new to piecing quilts and had graduated from my entry level Brother. I had narrowed my search and was leaning toward a Bernina. Nancy patiently explained the features of several machines to me. She was so helpful. She also explored the various prices, both with and without the embroidery module. I ultimately purchased the B570 Quilters Edition with the embroidery module. Nancy helped me to figure out how to make that happen. She then gave me a tutorial on the machine which allowed me to start playing with it at home. I am thrilled with my purchase and can't wait to take my classes. Thank you, Nancy!

We all know a Bernina is a great sewing machine but occasional it may need a repair. My 830 was having bobbin recognition problems. Charla courteously listened to my list of concerns/problems, serviced the machine, and made the necessary repairs. It now is sewing like a dream machine. Thanks Charla. I hope Thread Play has a program to reward employees for excellent customer service and includes you in those rewards. Charla is truly an asset to your business and I will trust her with any of my four Bernina sewing machines. I highly recommend the tech department at Thread Play.

I needed a button repaired on a men's suit. Discovered that they do not provide alterations or sewing repairs only after I called. They only sell sewing machines. They did advise me of that fact when I called. However, in their company information, that I found online, and through Yelp, that fact was not clear. My only suggestion is that they should make it more clear that they only sell sewing machines and do not provide alterations or repairs.

I have purchased 2 machines here, my drop down table and my sewing chair. This store is my go-to- the sales people are knowledgeable and friendly. They never tried to sell me more machine than I wanted. They always answer the phone to help me troubleshoot, and don't make me feel silly. If you want a Bernina, (and who wouldn't- they are the BEST), you should shop here. If you already have one, their in-house technicians can get it back to purring in no time.

I went into the store just looking and finding out about their different machines. I am a beginner quilter and have(had) a very basic, cheap machine. My Mom, and my sister all have owned a Bernina -in fact my sister just bought bought a new one to replace her 40 year old one! So, Nancy, who was helping me -and was incrediabley patient with all my questions etc. Her knowledge and explanations were so great. Not once did I feel like she was trying to make a sale. In fact, the store was closing in 20 minutes and when I went to pay, I didn't have my credit card. I live very close to the store and she waited for me to go home and get my card! I LOVE, LOVE my machine. So FUN! Thank you Nancy!!! You are on my Christmas list!

Thank you to everyone at Thread Play for great customer service. Nancy is always good to me with her knowledge and patience when I have a couple extra questions. It is not always easy finding a dealer that continuously thrives to support the customer. Over the last couple years of going to Thread Play they have consistently proven their high standards of putting the customer first.
