St. Thomas More is a wonderful parish school that offers an authentically Catholic education and strong academics. Our children are thriving here amongst the caring faculty and staff. The priests of the parish are ever present and take the time to teach the students. They are great examples for the students and are truly forming disciples of Christ. We are blessed to be a part of this school and church community.

Our children are flourishing at St. Thomas more. They are surrounded by teachers, administration, and clergy who always put their well-being first. We are blessed to be a party of this community and grateful for the success our children. Have their surrounded by such wonderful support and belief in their capabilities.

St. Thomas More is an excellent school. I am a parent of two students there and I can tell that that teachers and the leadership truly care about the well-being and education of their students. They have a robust curriculum and I am confident that they are being very well prepared for high school and college. The pastor of St. Thomas More Parish is very involved with the school and I can tell that Catholic values are very much a part of what they are teaching there to ensure a great, well-rounded education for the kids!

Very disappointed with the preschool. The experience we had with the preschool was not representative of the Catholic ethics that STM stands for. Director Mary is not a friendly or caring person at all. She criticized my 2 year old son's art and he was compared with his other classmates, director and teachers not supporting my son through his potty training. Unfortunately, we won't be considering STM for our children going forward because of how things were abruptly switched up on us. Do not recommend this preschool.

An amazing school and community. Love the fact faith is taught in the school and the academics outpace the local public schools according to the test scores and high school feedback. We feel so blessed the teachers put the kids first and our kids have been in-person school during the 20/21 school year. LOVE this school!!!

I am not sure how Saint Thomas Moore School has the rating it does. This is a game changer from public school atmosphere. We have one student that has been there for 4 years and one coming in next year. All staff is loving and caring. The morals, values and education that are being taught are unprecedented. We love it here and plan on staying through 8th grade.

My family currently has four children attending STM Catholic ranging from preschool to the 3rd grade. We're very happy with the school.Academics are structured to keep everyone supported and challenged. Test scores regularly outpace local public school districts and we see STM also encouraging and supporting our children's development in athletics and the arts.Teachers are top-notch and genuinely care (as you would expect). The school is a community and we've seen that when a student is having a challenging time the faculty works directly with the parent(s) to help the child to a better place whether that's in academics, socializing, etc.Best of all STM lives the Catholic faith. Daily prayer, weekly Mass, tithing, and service projects are a way of life. It's Christ centered, no doubt.Over the years we've seen STM working hard to incorporate the best of new teaching practices while maintaining the common sense aspects of traditional Catholic education. Ultimately, we're sending our kids to STM to help us form the whole person: mind, body, and spirit. We love the choice we've made for our family!

I attended STM a while back and I can remember complaining about how much I hated school, the teachers, the homework, the rules/dresscode, etc. and for those of you who currently go to school there and are writing these bad reviews, just know it doesn't get any better. School gets harder, more homework is given, teachers are still teachers, and a lot of rules don't change. Enjoy the ease of life and innocence you have now because you lose so much of it in high school. Looking back, STM wasn't all that bad and when I compare myself to kids I go to school with now that previously attended public school and other private schools, I am so grateful for my education at STM. I was so much better prepared going into high school as I had much of the experience, knowledge, determination, respect, and maturity that was now being asked of me. Looking back, I so miss my tight knit community there with the students and teachers. One thing I wish I could change about my time there would be to realize that popularity doesn't matter and that you should be accepting of everyone because everyone deserves a chance to be your friend, regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, social class, appearance, etc. I shut so many people out of my life at STM because they "weren't cool enough, or rich enough, or pretty enough" and that is my biggest regret. I have since realized how stupid and cruel I was and in doing so have met so many new amazing people that years ago I could never imagine myself being friends with. So my advice to you current STMers is just to stop. Stop writing nasty reviews. Stop complaining about how much homework you have. Stop complaining about how unfair the dress code is. Stop acting like you're too cool to talk to that new girl. Stop hating on the teachers. Stop hating on each other. Just stop. Enjoy the time you have at STM now because before you know it, you'll be out and you'll wish you could go back. As well, Altevogt is gone now so things are about to get a lot better and y'all better be nice to Mr. Smith cause he's the light of my life, wow, what a bean.

It is the worst school ever. If you want a Catholic school, this is the wrong place. Honestly they're teachers and staff have no consideration for the students. And the principal is the worst! If I were you I would not send my kids there. I should know I used to go there.

We have one daughter at STM. She is in kindergarten and we are very pleased with the program. I volunteer in the classroom a couple of times per month and it is a lovely place. The kids are dear and their teacher is wonderful. She runs a very organized classroom and all of the children move from center to center beautifully. My daughter is reading beginner books and there is a program through the STM library where you can pick out an age appropriate book and take a reading comprehension test on it. The class was assigned 50 sight words at the beginning of the year and most of the kids know all of the words. They are now working on spelling those words and then will turn to 50 more sight words they should know in 1st grade. In math they are doing simply addition and subtraction and learning about time. Religion is throughout. There is mass once a week. Virtues are stressed, as are the lives of the saints. Many of the coloring worksheets are traced pictures of the old religious masterworks (so a little art history in there!) She loves the science and social studies classes and the art, gym and music classes. I love how the holidays are celebrated. There was so much preparation for Christmas and then the school put on a polar express day for the last day of the semester! It was so sweet and took so much work from the teachers, staff and parents. We are really glad to be part of STM and our younger daughter is starting preschool there next year.
