I started taking my Nissan Frontier to Saul's Autotek after a very bad experience with a Nissan dealership. Sauls has been great to deal with! They really seem to put the customer first. They communicate pricing upfront, they have a decent turnaround time, they have knowledgeable staff, and are friendly to deal with. Most importantly to me they seem to be very honest, which for me behind knowledgeable is the most important trait I can find in a mechanic. If your in need of auto repair I would highly recommend Saul's Autotek!Services: Steering & suspension repair

I DO NOT recommend Sauls Autotek. After what I was told was going to be $2000, I ended up taking my vehicle back twice, spent over $5000 and they STILL did not fix the issue. Their work and ability to diagnose is questionable and inconsistent and they charge significantly higher than average prices for parts and labor.I brought in my Ram Promaster for a "memory steering" problem. Saul’s diagnosed the Control Arms and CV Axles and quoted $2000. AFTER starting the labor, they couldn’t find the CV axles anywhere and said they could have them “made” for an extra $1000. An alignment was required after the parts were replaced. I get free alignments at Firestone so I took it there instead - Bob said he would do the same if he were me.The memory steering issue was not fixed so I took it back. Audrey mentioned that since I took the van elsewhere to get the alignment they may not be able to warranty their work. Bob had not mentioned this. After diagnosis they said the steering rack & pinion and outer tie rods needed to be replaced for $2000. They also said the front struts should be replaced for $2100 (not noted on 1st visit), though that wasn't contributing to the memory steering. I decided to replace the rack to fix the memory steering and take it back to Firestone for the 2nd alignment. Bob said “No problem, I’m not miffed by that”, again not indicating there would be an issue. When I picked up the van from Sauls, the steering wheel was not centered and there were 2 new warning messages: “Service Hill Holder” and “Service ESC system”. Firestone also told me the tie rods desperately needed grease. It appears Sauls forgot to grease the new parts they put in. After the alignment the steering wheel was straightened and the warning lights went away, but it DID NOT fix the memory steering. At this point I went on a road trip, during which time the bolts holding the control arms loosened - Sauls didn't properly tighten the bolts when they replaced them.I took it back to Sauls after the trip. They said they need to replace the steering rack AGAIN because after replacing it the first time, the drive to Firestone may have damaged the steering rack. Bob did not warn me about this possibility. They said they will cover the parts under warranty, but charge $660 in labor, and do a free alignment. I said that is still unfair given nobody told me there could be damage caused by driving the vehicle before getting the alignment. They declined so I grudgingly agreed to pay the $660 (later I did negotiate that to $350).When I called to check the status 2 days later, I spoke with Saul (I think) who said, “We have the van on the alignment rack and we’ll have it ready and get you driving straight by tomorrow morning.” He seemed confident the memory steering would be fixed. The next morning Bob called and said "Your van is ready but the memory steering is still not fixed. We need to replace the front struts.” Previously, he said the front struts were NOT causing the issue. I wonder if they even needed to replace the steering rack the second time. I suspect they may have removed a perfectly good steering rack and charged me to do that unnecessary labor. At this point, I felt like I’d been strung along for a few thousand dollars while they played whack-a-mole trying to solve a problem they clearly didn’t know how to solve. I understand vehicles are complex and expensive but the insufficient communication about what needs to be done and the headache this has been for me is unacceptable. With the amount of money and time spent, it's not clear if they can or will fix the problem. As I drove away from Sauls the ESC light came on and the steering wheel is off center AGAIN, and there is a new worse problem - the van suddenly jerks randomly left or right, as if hit by a gust of wind. It started as a subtle sway, but has gotten worse and is now a major safety concern. I question whether Saul’s did their alignment correctly, or installed the second rack correctly and I’m worried that the van is in worse condition than when I broug

After having an accident on a Saturday night, Saul's was able to check our car out first thing Sunday morning to make sure there was no major damage and was safe to drive. They were very efficient and thorough. I would highly recommend them. Mindy

While they were not able to solve our issue, they were first rate. Saul and Bob were very helpful in trying to resolve our issue as we were passing through Denver. Knowledgeable staff and would use them if we lived closer. Thanks for the quick diagnosis.

Stopped by before I headed out of town due to a tire pressure issue. Staff were really nice and friendly. They reassured me that everything was in good hands and that they would help me out. Not even 20 minutes later I was out the door! Very friendly! Definitely recommend.Service: Tires

Not as any surprise, we replied to Saul's Autotek reply to our review, again covering all the reasons we were dissatisfied and that we now knew for a fact that all we needed was an oil filter and not the 3K+ service we were being pressured to agree to. We provided the invoice number as asked and resent the entire email to the email address on the invioce. It's been another week and we've not heard one word from them. This speaks volumes as to who they are and how they operate. So to recap, 1. We had a specific issue with a correlating computer code. 2. Tech told us about supposed issues that we weren't experiencing. 3. Different employee suggests problem is with parts our vehicle doesn't have. 4. Given options of repair but told they may not work. 5. Finally told to replace entire system or risk breaking down. 6. Charged for diagnostic that diagnosed nothing, even though having card stating free diagnostic $150.00 value. 7. Now confirmed by dealership and seperate mechanic that issue was ONLY the oil filter. 8. We've given them over a month to address this and issue a refund, though nothing has been done other than their initial yelp reply that was written exactly how yelp suggests a poor review is to be responded to. I believe this says it all about Saul's Autotek.

no good value and bad quality. avoid this auto shop.so its been only eight months ago since i had my 2017 bmw x1 battery replaced by this place. battery now requires a replacement. not even one year. whatever battery they put in my car was not rated for this car. it was the wrong battery. and now i have to get this battery replaced. (they even charged me a diagnostic fee to diagnose the dead battery eight months ago). avoid this place as they used cheap small battery that now must be replaced. do yourself the favor.i hope people are actually reading this and respond by avoiding this place.

my daughter's Jeep was in need of service bad. She has a full warranty, but all the dealerships were booked until Oct. Saul contacted me on facebook after a post I made, and asked me to bring it in. He and his team were able to get her vehicle fixed in a few days, and also fixed a few other things needed, and almost all of it under the warranty. Kudos to him and his team for taking care of this very quickly. I will surely be using Autotek again soon.

Saul's team went above and beyond! I personally requested to get a link to leave them a review because they not only took care of my car, but provided fantastic customer service to a very cautious customer--aka me. As a female customer, I tend to be very cautious when finding a new auto repairs shop as, unfortunately, female customers of anything related to cars tend to be considered easy targets for misleading sales. In turn, once I find an auto shop that I trust, I tend to stick with them. Unfortunately, I just moved to the area and therefore needed to find a new auto shop close by. In addition, I needed to find an auto shop that was open on a Sunday due to how imperative the my car's brake/rotor issue was--and Saul's was one of the few open on a Sunday.I tend to be very shrewd when I vet a new mechanic. And Saul's team passed a very difficult test with flying colors. LOL. I always come into auto shops already very well researched about the suspected car issue so I can get a sense of the level of transparency of the business. They knew I was nervous and so Bob offered to do a complimentary diagnostic test drive with me. When they quoted me the prices, they did not pressure me into buying anything and gave me a chance to look at what a typical repair cost. In fact, they ended up being a little cheaper than my last mechanic for the same repair. Audrey was so patient with me as I went back and forth on what repairs I could afford at the time. She even intercepted the mechanic in the middle of a repair to cancel a job! And I even met Saul, the CEO. He was very unassuming as he was working hard on the floor with the rest of his team. I wouldn't have guessed he was the CEO if I hadn't seen a picture of him in a newspaper clipping hanging on the wall detailing the high praise his business has received over the years. I admire that level of humility from a business owner. Being a part of the process that one's employees engage in regularly grounds someone to truly understand what their employees need and therefore are more likely to treat them with mutual respect and dignity. And that's a company value I believe in and want to support.Again, thank you to Saul's team for such quality service! It's nice to find a new auto shop that is dependable, trustworthy, and so human on the first try. I'll definitely be back!Service: Auto brake replacement

I recently encountered an unexpected hiccup with my recently purchased used car, and I can't express enough gratitude for the exceptional service provided by Audrey at Saul’s Autotek. Their professionalism, dedication, and commitment to customer satisfaction truly saved the day.Just 11 days after acquiring the vehicle, the dreaded check engine light blinked to life. Of course, I felt a mix of frustration and anxiety, fearing the worst. Upon visiting Saul’s Autotek, I was immediately struck by their willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty. Unlike the dealer I initially dealt with, they didn't brush off my concerns or point fingers at me for causing supposed year-long damage in mere days. They not only inspected the engine but also ensured that I understood each aspect of the assessment. Their transparency and willingness to explain the issues with the vehicle set my mind at ease. They took the extra step of photographing the problematic areas and explaining in detail where the major issues were located. This level of attention and communication truly stood out. What impressed me most was their commitment to the truth. Rather than assuming the worst and assigning blame, Audrey genuinely took the time to analyze the situation objectively. They assured me that there was no plausible way the damage could have been inflicted within such a short span of time. This honesty and integrity spoke volumes about their business ethics and customer-centric approach. The speed at which they handled the situation was equally remarkable. Despite the complexity of the issue, Those at Saul’s Autotek managed to provide a comprehensive evaluation and solution within a super short period. Their efficiency didn't come at the cost of quality; on the contrary, it showcased their competence and expertise in diagnosing and addressing automotive problems.I can confidently say that my experience with this auto shop has been phenomenal. In a time when auto-related headaches are all too common, finding a shop that values its customers and performs its services with excellence is a breath of fresh air. I couldn't be happier with the outcome and the peace of mind they've provided. If you're seeking an auto shop that goes above and beyond, prioritizes transparency, and delivers outstanding results in record time, Saul’s Autotek is your friend. They've earned my trust, and I'll undoubtedly be returning for any future automotive needs. Kudos to the team for setting the bar high and exemplifying what true customer service entails.Service: Vehicle Inspection

Memorial Day weekend, broke down near Denver. Rear brake seized up. Called numerous shops, nothing was open till the following Tues, except Saul's Autotek. Explained my situation, and was told to have it towed over and they would asses it. The same afternoon they identified the issue, and the parts required. Verbal cost estimate was thought to be under $1,000. Due to the holiday weekend parts and detailed cost weren't available till Tuesday, the estimate was $3,500. When I picked the vehicle up, late model Mercedes E53 AMG, the cost was $2,800.00. Saul's provided a very detailed work order complete with photos of before and after the repair and damaged brake caliper. Very satisfied, and highly recommend Saul's Autotek. Professional and friendly owner and staff.
