Very grateful to have Option Care. Marilyn is a great nurse that goes above and beyond and would highly recommend her!

This is only the second TPN company that I have used, and my son only switched to them because we moved states and there were no other options at the time. This has been the worst experience and I miss our old company so much. Almost every single order, they miss something vital. Tell me how you miss the actual vitamins to inject into the TPN bag? Then every time I call and tell them something is missed, I just get the response of "oh no....that's not good." Obviously. The machines have had to be replaced on more than one occasion. The bags are full of air so it's constantly causing the alarm on the machine to go off. Then to top it all off, the nurses are horrible. They don't seem like they know what they are doing and they take an hour when the whole dressing change shouldn't take longer than 30 minutes. Thank God our doctors let us start doing the labs and dressing change ourselves so we don't have to deal with this anymore. We are changing companies and the change can't come soon enough.

If there is a Zero star, I would happily award it to option care. This is the worst service provider I have ever experienced. It takes too long to get to someone who will help, then they talk down to you and they are very rude. Unfortunately, I am stuck with them for my nutritional needs, otherwise I would have ditched them in a heart beat.

I was told from Washington option care that I could transfer my care (that I did not need a doctor in Colorado just a prescription), but Colorado office told me that I couldn't I would need a prescription here which my specialist the only one in the area and there's only one is months out. I'll be talking to a lawyer since they refuse my care and there's no other place to get your picc line service you can't just stop PICC line service for a few weeks it could literally kill you. You'll be talking to my lawyer before the end of the week.

My husband went septic from a Staph infection and also has many allergies. Our pharmacist always make sure he has exactly what he needs and will even send a courier if needed that day.

I am desperately trying to switch to a new company due to Option Care’s consistent errors and mistakes. Our experience with them has been incredibly arduous and stressful for no real reason. We have had repeated errors where I call and ask for a supply (that is already prescribed and in the system) and I go over the order line by line with a rep and I find out days later it was just never ordered so my child ends up getting her supplies late or not at all. I have to call to make sure daily she is getting the supplies we pay for and that should have been ordered. I have never received a call ahead of an order to place it or check in with us. I have spent hours upon hours contacting them, being on hold, and correcting their mistakes. At one point, my daughter had no supplies left despite me calling every day for 6 days in advance. She is not yet 2 and is being affected by this horrible company. My daughter has also had 3 broken pumps in 2 months (which is the entire length we’ve been with this company). They even sent one that is physically broken with a huge crack in it and now want to “troubleshoot” a physically broken pump. It truly never ends with them. I am counting the days until my daughters waiver is approved so we can move to Ward Road Pharmacy. I would advise anyone to completely skip trying out Option Care to avoid these experiences and pick somewhere else where they can receive continuity of care and accuracy. You will have to treat calling Option Care and correcting mistakes as a part time job if you choose them even though you’re paying them.

Called last week and gave a detailed description of what formula my child needs for medical reasons as well as a list of her supplies. They asked me to get a prescrition and have it sent over. I did all the work to get them the information and they call me today and say that her formula is too expensive so they wont take her on as a patient.
