Continue to under promise and over deliver

As the new owner of a restored 80s era Defender, I'm so thankful to have connected with Tony and the team at JC's British. I had purchased a sign unseen car from an out of state dealer that checked all the boxes. I was told the car was "perfect" (>900 miles post restoration, immaculate pictures, etc.) so I bought it without the usual diligence. Long story short: there were a few things that weren't quite right. Tony worked with the selling dealership to talk through what he uncovered, and was able to get the essentials paid for by the dealer as a part of the original transaction. Tony and the selling dealership acted with the utmost professionalism. What could have been a high regretful situation turns into a wonderful new addition to the garage for our family, and memories to be made cruising around town in our classic Defender. Thanks, Tony.

I had a good experience with JC's - they made a gap for me in their schedule to help me along on my roadtrip, an extensive feedback and good interaction. They cared about my P38. Thank you.

These guys are fantastic, end of story! When you purchase a Land Rover you should know what you sign up for. Great vehicle but if/when a repair is necessary expect it to be costly. That being said, JC's has always been open/honest, very communicative, and willing to negotiate whenever possible. I highly recommend them.

So I've been stewing about this for awhileDidn't want to say anything because I like the owner of this place he's on top of it and knows his stuff But the last time I was there the service manager for older cars was a complete jerk till I picked the car up basically told me to get rid of my p38 that it wasn't going to last When I got home On observation they had destroyed my bolts and nuts on my prop shaft and installed it backwards so much for knowledge there was no oil in it because the oil cooler line was loose and the oil had seeped out but all they knew was it had no oil Then the same guy tried to tell me I was wrong about the direction of the prop shaft They are supposed to know but I guess they don't at any rate I was doneWon't go back, it's too bad, I would have been a customer for life because it used to be a good experience. but that was the worst! I'm getting older and it's not easy but I'll do it myself before I go through that! Guess they got too big for their britchesAdding an update to Jeff because obviously you weren't awareBut I was never told anything about any problems except low oil nothing which I did say don't bother my yoke was not replaced and neither was the bolts I got it back with rounded bolts not new ones like I was told and a dent in the floor pan I was so mad I was doneYes I should have called youI know you know your stuff but when you're mad as hell like I was! I was done Apparently what was written in the report was not how it went down with me I'm still stewing about this "obviously"Wish had gone differently I'm confident my p38 will outlast me if I don't kill it

I had some warning light go on in my 2008 Range Rover and needed some suspension and brake work, I was able to get an appointment in a short period of time . An estimates and time to complete the work along with other needed repairs were clearly communicated by a professional staff, everyone was very thorough.

Over the years we have had a ‘94, ‘95, ‘96, ‘03, ‘08, ‘13, ‘14 and a ‘15. Land Rover. I think JC’s has visited with all but one of these. I think that says a lot about our trust in Jeff.

I own a 2007 Jaguar and these guys are a huge help. Their shop is immaculate and a pleasure to wait in for your vehicle. The staff is super knowledgeable and goes out of the way to do research on potential fixes. They aren't the cheapest but one of the best in my mind. Thanks again for getting me in so quick and resolving my car issues.Service: Electrical repair

I've owned a Landrover for 17 years and used JC's almost exclusively. Until two months ago. I found another shop that did my repair for a third of what JC's was telling me it would cost. And today I was told that they don't warranty parts for brakes, only service. JC's is knowledgeable and thorough and great for the wealthy who have money to burn. But, if your Landrover is your daily driver, like mine, you can find shops that do just as good of a job for a lot less.

They do good work, though I've had some issues dealing with the front staff. And one tech didn't do a repair correctly (she didn't bleed the cooling system). And since I live 2 hours away, this was a very big deal. But it is very important to know that the two year warranty is not national. So if their repair fails during a road trip, or you move out of state, you're outta luck. I had my water pump replaced by JC's a little more than a year ago (same tech that failed on bleeding the system) and it's leaking again after 5,000 miles. But since I'm now in California, and have to get the repair done here, I'm out another $1,200.Most of the independent shops, and of course the dealers, have national warranties. Definitely a negative JC's doesn't offer that.
