I stumbled across House of Alpine from another furniture designer and am happy I did. Mike was amazing to work with. His attention to detail is seamless. Mike worked on two projects for my mountain home. One was a built-in bunk bed with flip-down bedside tables and powder-coated railings. It was a challenging project due to the lack of square footage. But Mike had some great ideas which accommodated the space beautifully. The second project was a floating fireplace mantle not quite as challenging but took the work of an expert craftsman. I am thrilled with how everything turned out and would use him again in a minute. I give him ten stars.Services: Furniture design

Mike built a white oak banquette to our specs and did it perfectly; the craftsmanship is superb. The table was his design. Each side piece has two drawers and a cabinet with a pull-out tray. They are attached via a base to allow disassembly if needed. We are extremely happy with the end result.Services: Delivery

Mike created four customs pieces for our home. He wrapped two posts in stunning walnut, and also made a faux beam and two floating shelves to match. These finishing touches are commented on by just about everyone who sees them! Mike was very communicative about his vision and timeline. He arrived when he said he would and was very respectful of our home - he even took his shoes off while working inside! Let me start by saying that I have had several custom pieces of furniture made in the past. Mike is the real deal. I reached out to Mike for two reasons: 1) his posted work was detailed and beautiful and 2) he had the ability to integrate metal work into the project. The process and conversations were really easy. With the detailed drawings made it so clear that you were getting exactly what you wanted, and in my case we caught something in the design I wanted changed. My tables turned out beautifully and we LOVE them. I wish I had more things for Mike to make, truly recommend Mike and House of Alpine!Services: Table construction & installation

I had the best experience working with Mike. Not only is he so professional his pieces are really beautiful!! He built this amazing shelf that fit so precisely into this space in my kitchen. My friends that live in the same building had the exact same thing in their place. He was always on time with meetings and gave me the exact time it would be ready. Mike was fabulous to work with. He is a true artist. We moved across the country from the east coast to Colorado. In the moving process the legs of our dining room table were lost. Mike came to the rescue. He designed a new table base, created it and attached it to the table top today. It looks much better than it looked when the table was new. House of Alpine just made our family a custom kitchen table and I couldn’t be happier with the process or the end result. I found House of Alpine online because I wanted a smooth and extremely durable kitchen tablethat would last through hundreds of cleanings, family dinners, spilled juice, homework sessions, and art projects. I could not find the quality and design I wanted in any store but found it with House of Alpine.Mike was easy to work with over email and the phone. He listened carefully to what I needed and produced a beautiful piece of furniture that we will use for years to come. Answer first: The office desk Mike made for me is beautiful - I absolutely love it. I'm 100% happy with the product and my experience as a customer with House of Alpine. I look forward to ordering many more pieces of furniture from Mike in the future, and I strongly suggest that you do too!I have been looking for a while for someone local to the Denver area who could build me a new desk for my home office. There were a few candidates, but when I saw House of Alpine's portfolio on their website, I was instantly taken with the simplicity, elegance and quality of Mike's work. There is not a single piece of furniture that Mike has built that I wouldn't happily have in my home.I reached out to Mike and he explained the process, timeline and approximate cost. And then he stuck to all of it - there were no surprises and the process went very smoothly. Mike had a few questions and gave great advice when I wasn't sure how to answer them. In short, Mike is a great guy, and made everything easy.The end result is the stunningly beautiful desk that I'm typing this review at. It is easily the nicest object I own (until I order more furniture from Mike). Specifically, the design is incredibly clean, and highlights the high quality materials that Mike chose. It feels and looks great. It's incredibly solid - I have no doubt that it will out-survive me.So to re-conclude: I would recommend House of Alpine to anyone who would listen. Top experience, and amazing furniture.

I had approached HoA looking for a custom table top for a basement project. I had originally proposed (2) options to Mike Rudd, one being a standard slab of walnut and the other being an epoxy river table. Right off the bat I was very appreciative of their honesty since Mike had mentioned that his shop does not normally do epoxy pours, and that if I wanted to go with that he would happily recommend me to another outfit. That being said, the process from conceptual design to product in hand was very straight forward. Mike was communicative throughout the whole fabrication. The time from initial payment to delivery was about 2 months which was faster than expected. I had the table delivered and installed about 2 weeks ago and could not be happier with it. The quality of everything was flawless; the joinery, finish/stain, flatness was incredible! I would highly recommend using House of Alpine's, and I will plan on using them again in future projects.

Mike made our kitchen island for us and we LOVE it! Mike was very easy to work with, set expectations about timeline and stuck to deadlines, was very professional and offered excellent guidance about the overall design, how to make decisions on height, offered solutions to every road block we encountered, and delivered a beautiful piece of custom white oak furniture for our kitchen. He went above and beyond with the delivery of this table as well - took 9 men to move it! I highly recommend working with Mike, you will not be disappointed with the quality of his craftmanship.
