If I could give this location zero stars I would! There was only one person working (Gian )and a line of people out the door. For goodness sakes get this poor guy some help. This is how companies end up losing good workers. This guy needs a raise! He's patient, hard working and does his job well.

I rented a car from here and the experience hasn't been good except for the ride service they provided to pick me up. The car was dirty they said they cleaned it. Stuff was left in the glove box , the front window on the inside and out were not clean. The customer service when I rented the car was awful and impersonal. If you were not affiliated with my insurance I would've went somewhere else.

**DISCLAIMER: Adam and Nate are not to blame for anything in this review** John needs to be fired. He is the most unprofessional person I have EVER tried doing business with and he seriously is unfit to still be working there. Last week I went in looking to trade in my car so I called ahead to confirm the vehicle I wanted was still available. Even though I arrived only 40 minutes later, I walked in and was told that they sold it a couple days ago, and that their system online is a week behind. Irritated that I drove all that way for no reason, I asked them to do an appraisal on my car so it wasn't all for nothing. I watched John take a picture of the VIN #, but unbeknownst to me, he never even ran the CarFax or anything on my vehicle, which would have allowed him to see it was a salvage title. He offered me a good trade to "make things right" for the mix-up on not having the vehicle I wanted, and even though I was surprised by the high offer I never asked to make sure he knew it was a salvage because I thought he did his job correctly and ran the VIN during the appraisal. I wasn't ready to buy that night but I called him the next morning and asked him to hold the vehicle on the lot for me as long as he could promise me the same trade he offered last night. He agreed but requested a "security deposit", and asked that I send him pictures of the front and back of my CREDIT CARD to his personal cell phone??? Like wtf?? He told me he would just delete it off his camera roll after charging me the deposit and I was like excuse me?? He held the car anyway despite me not giving it to him, and I arrived at 3:30 to start the trade. I did not actually get helped until 7:45 pm. By the time I started signing the paperwork John had left...like he literally left in the middle of his own trade. Adam the finance guy was clearly overworked and was already two hours into overtime by the time I got to him, but he had a great attitude nonetheless. He was the first one to actually look at my title and see it was a salvage and that's when everyone else realized that John f*cked up. BUT THEY STILL HANDED ME THE KEYS TO THE NEW VEHICLE ANYWAYS. Fast forward to the next day and John calls me... he's irate and biting his words over the phone, demanding I bring back "his car" and saying that I lied to him. He threatens to call the cops on me, take me to court, etc... if I dont bring back his car. I straight up just say I'm taking this to corporate and demand he gives me HIS managers #. John refuses to give me his managers # ( hm I wonder why) and he actually cussed me out over the phone and hung up on me mid sentence. He seriously has anger issues and I was scared to go back to the dealership because of the threats he made to me. I later found out that his phone call with me could be heard throughout the dealership because of how loud he was yelling, and he left in the middle of his shift for over an hour to "cool down". Like seriously??? His manager eventually called me an hour later to discuss the legalities of the trade, and basically confirmed that they would try to take me to court... even though it is THEIR JOB as the dealership to understand the laws/policies and communicate that with the customer. For heaven's sake I'm 20 years old and this was my first time buying a car. I didn't know I had to verbally disclose it was a salvage and even in hindsight the statute they were throwing around is meant to protect people not dealerships. I decided I don't want to deal with their hot mess of a company or battling them in court (even though I think I could have had a solid chance at winning) so I just caved to the coercion and brought back the car and voided the trade. The whole thing makes Hertz look like a laughing stock and I will NEVER return as a customer there again. John single handedly dropped the ball again and again: appraising a vehicle incorrectly, asking for pictures of my credit card info, cussing me out over the phone, threatening me, and blaming his i

The manager of that location was very rude to me and proceeded to give me a Honda Accord sedan that smelled very bad and every warning light on the dash board lit up as I drove to my destination about 2 hours away. How can a rental company send a customer off in a unsafe car. As a matter of fact, I got a flat tire on it as well on my way back to Denver. This trip was a disaster and all of the manager's who I spoke with wouldn't swap out the car for another one. I wouldn't wish any customer especially a female like me to do business with Hertz again. No satisfaction whatsoever in trying to solve this problem. I took over two days of my time calling hertz management and customer service for another car without any success. Driving an unsafe car especially with the engine light is completely ridiculous. If you don't have a car worthwhile to rent for the week of Memorial Day, why stick someone with an unsafe one. No excuses!!!

I made a reservation here over a week ago and they have the audacity to text me the night before that they don’t have a car!? I rely on transportation for money so those unprofessional people have really made my life harder. Go for a different company.

What kind of rental agency doesn’t have a spare key? It cost me $136 for a locksmith. Not returning.

Yesterday i make a reservation via hertz website for a mid sized car for 6 days scheduled to pick up at 10a 8 /16/22. Around 9a this am "John" (the name i heard) from hertz calls and asks if i can go in in the afternoon to get a car bc they dont hv any cars. (how is it these car cos dont hv cars when theyre in the business) I told him no and askd if i could go to another store bc i hv appt at 11:30a. He asked if 10:30a would wk. I sd yes. I asked him how long the appt would take for a car bc i hv to get my son at 3, he sd "15 mins max". At 10a my other appt calls and reschedules for 5:30 this evening. So i call hertz back and speak with a female and reschedule the car to 2p 8/16/22. We arrive at hertz at 4940 s broadway in englewood at 2:03pm. There were at least 100 cars in the lot btw. We Go in and sit down. Theres 1 customer at the counter, in the entire store, with the one and only visible employee in the store. For 35 mins my adult son, a toddler i had with us and i sit there listening to Gian "John" LaManna Assistant Manager II shoot the you know what with other customer abt Italy, apparently theyre both italian, Gian's mom, customers wife, customers job, customers owned vehicle, Gian's mom wanted to name him Giovanni but she didnt want him to hv a hard time with the bubbles on the standardized tests.. yada yada yada...they conduct business for abt 10mins during that entire time. after 35mins i go up to the desk and say "im sorry to rush you guys but i had a reservation at 2 for a car and i need to get to my son who is out of school in 25mins. I asked abt the really nice female i spoke with earlier and he sd shes in a conference call. Gian sd he was walking the guy out and hed be right back. Then i hear him tell customer he has to take photos. Another 10mins goes by and Gian comes back in and i smiled and sd ok i hv 15 mins to get to my son so... (In other words lets hurry please) he looked at me with disgust and sd "i was with a customer maam". I sd "im a customer as well and i had a reservation for 2". He walked away and walked towards the door and sd "youre orig appt was for 10am" with a snotty little look on his face and i sd "yes and you personally called me to say you didnt hv cars and asked if i could come in the afternoon." My appt got switched so i called the female there who sd 2 pm was no prob at all. He walked outside without saying a word but shook his head at me with a dirty look. Then came back in a min later and asked for my "drivers lic and id" and i teased him abt it trying to lighten the mood, he laughed and asked for a credit card. At first he didnt say the balance. I gave him a card. He dropped it on the desk and sd "that's a debit, i need a credit card", i gave him another card and same thing so i get him an actual credit card which i was unaware was required and i knew there wasnt enough on that card to cover the expensive rental which i told him theres not enough on that card to cover the rental he then sd what is opposite of what the website sd which was according to site that i could show a debit card as long at theres 2 other forms of ID which i had. Which would NOT be charged until i ret the car. He insisted it says on site that i must hv a credit card then he proceeds to say that the amt to be charged is for the car for 6 days PLUS (and this is new) a $200 deposit. I sd theres nothing mentioned of a deposit of any kind. I explained again their site doesnt say any of this, he sd "most people dont read the agreement" and i sd "i read every word bc i cant hv any surprises". I told him theres far more money on the 2 debit cards then there are on the credit card. He sd i should pay the credit card off so i can use it. I explained that " 1. even if i did pay the balance, it's irrelevant bc it takes 48hrs to post, 2. i still wouldnt hv the surprise total to use bc thats $14 over the limit on that card". He insisted it says it on their site and sd if i

...the fact I can't give a zero star rating is pathetic because you all deserve nothing for what you did. Where do I start...I purchased a car from Hertz Auto Sales from this location January 13th 2020. Excited that I had even been approved to buy a car that's the one thing they did right...Experian car check ran and all Good, being a first time car buyer I thought they had my best interest at hand, boy was I absolutely wrong. Let's fast forward to 2 years later when the new Nissan Pathfinder 2023 came out and me liking the one I bought and used car prices going up I wanted the brand new one. Went into Tyssen Nissan to go get my car appraised and put my down payment on the new one. They then run the car fax there at the dealership, come to find out I had a total loss on my car before I was even sold the vehicle. Talk about a surprise... on a car I owe 16k on still come to find out it's only worth 9k because of that. Finding out this information I go directly back to this location to resolve this and find out what Hertz is going to do to fix this. I started this process back in January of this year...the Location Manager TJ told me they've reached to corporate to see what they are going to do, I've called, emailed, and have now gotten a lawyer to resolve this issue with still zero response from hertz at all. When I tell you to not trust these people 100% believe me. I have the documents not showing the total loss on the vehicle and then the most current ones that do show the total loss. That was reported 8 days before I purchased the vehicle. Im hoping that they have not screwed anyone else over like they have me. At this point I feel like the fraud they have committed has been swept under the rug because im the little guy here. It's sad a multi billion dollar company can't afford to right their wrong. This is 100% fraudulent and it's going on like it's okay to do to people. I'll take this as far as I need to so I don't have to pay into a vehicle that wasn't worth the 20k you sold it to me for

I've been here twice so far. So far, from what I've experienced personally, they're doing a very good job. They may seem curt but they are not rude. They have to handle a lot of folks, a lot of calls, and a lot of calls. They handle their business as best they can. One testament to their professionalism is their handling of my own meltdown of sorts. This business is frustrating... and today was one of those days I let it get to me... But the folks here handled things professionally and were able to help me through the situation I had with the vehicle. In regards to the phone situation, so far they've been better than some other Hertz places I've had to deal with that cater to the 'ride share' workers.Even in a 'vacuum'... not comparing to other locations like this... I feel they do a pretty dang good job with what they have to work with.

This is an Uber hub for rental cars and I got to tell you. I feel like the customer service they're really really (SUCK!!)the girls that they've got working the counter are rude and like I said they'll help you when they're ready to. they'll get on their cell phones call their buddies or the walk around the parking lot to look at cars. but they're not going to attend to you when you're ready, oh no they'll attend to you when they are ready.I feel like uber should be ashamed of themselves for even going to this establishment very unprofessional !!!I don't know if Lyft is like this to but I suggest downloading lift and going with them and not doing this is Uber partnerbecause it was a joke really bothers me to work with unprofessional people very unprofessional andjust because of what happened there at Hertz I will never rent another car from Hertz again even if it's not Uber partners I have pictures but it will not let me put them on here otherwise I would
